I do A LOT to protect myself. Massive Vitamin C, Vitamin D (via SUNLIGHT!), quercetin, NAC, bromelain (part of a supplement I take), and zinc among other things!
Foods I try to work in include garlic and onions, plus lemon juice from time to time. In the past I also imbibed Q tonic (with quinine) and green tea.
You can find a protocol for nebulized hydrogen peroxide that is ultra cheap and easy. (Bolenreport). I find that I can spray 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide and breathe it in with no problem. I also found some colloidal silver nasal spray that I use prophylactically each morning. Colloidal silver is a good alternative to hand sanitizer, imo.
For some reason the things with a licorice flavor including actual licorice may provide some benefit, though if you use actual licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra ) I think you should pay attention to your heart rhythm. These items include fennel and anise. Some folks are working with certain pine needles to make a tea that may be protective. I've investigated this a little and found some needles of what I think is a white pine. Caution with that one unless you know the correct pine, I think!
Strangely, I've read something about dandelion preventing bonding of spikes to ACE2 receptors. I eat tender young dandelion greens from my yard upon occasion as this has known benefits. I don't know which part of the dandelion might be most helpful against spikes.
Even though I might take a few of my available substances and plants in small quantities, I do hope the synergistic effects may be beneficial. I alter my repertoire based on availability. One easy way to get anise aside from getting the little 'stars' at the health food store is to use anise extract from the grocery store. I put drops in my coffee.
I try to pay attention to my mineral status somewhat including magnesium.
I think that when you start adding together all the positive steps you are taking you will feel a sense of accomplishment which may give you a good "placebo" effect benefit, too.
Above all…pray. God helps me more than anything I could ever do myself alone.
Hope this helps.
