Hair manipulation is a tell for women. She is saying in this act
1) Hair perfectly staged to be split and brought forward on both sides is a sign of insecurity and body armor facade placed towards the audience
2) grabbed at ear level and stripped away is reacting to what she is hearing and ready to fight as she throws away the fake pretense
3) flips her hair to cover 1 side ( her heart) says she was hurt by the reaction of the crowd but going to put on a facade she is not. Stil needs that body armor over her heart so nobody knows
