We had two bags of gouda, seventy-five pellets of cheddar, five sheets of high powered swiss, a salt shaker half full of parmesian, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored muensters, portwines, pepperjacks, colby… and also a quart of roquefort, a quart of brie, a case of american, a pint of raw mozerella and two dozen manchegos.

 

Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious cheese collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.
