Bill Melugin from FOX News reported on Sunday that the US border partol apprehended over 20,000 illegal aliens at the Del Rio Crossing in Texas in just one week.

That is enough people to fill up the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Chief Border Patrol Agent Brian Hastings tweeted this out Sunday afternoon.

All of these individuals were released inside the US mainland. They were transported across the country and are given money and benefits after they cross into the United States.

This is just at one border crossing that is seeing these numbers!

Chicago Chamber Of Commerce Rages As Average Unemployed Illinoisan Parent Earns $35/Hour Sitting On The Couch

Illinois employers are hurting from a lack of workers while the state unemployment rate remains high. When a parent can stay home and make $51,627 on unemployment, the prospects of getting more workers back to work this summer appear dim.

Illinois’ unemployment rate rose to 7.2% July 15, the 8th worst in the nation, at the same time employers are having trouble filling job vacancies.

The average Illinoisan earns $55,770 a year at work. If that person stayed home with their kids and collected unemployment, it would be $51,627.

For a parent earning around the state average, that’s $4,000 less for deciding not to work, and with no child care or transportation expenses.

Crunch the numbers another way and add federal stimulus, and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce calculated an unemployed worker receives $35 an hour.

“In Illinois alone, there are tens of thousands of unfilled jobs. Employers are offering substantially higher wages, employment bonuses and taking other steps to encourage people to return to work,” the chamber wrote in an open letter to Gov. J.B. Pritzker.

“The problem is employers cannot compete with the approximate $35 per hour unemployed workers have received over the last four months as a result of enhanced UI benefits, tax credits, and stimulus payments.”

Illinois’ 7.2% unemployment rate exceeds the national average of 5.9%. Government policies are not helping reduce it.

Unemployed Illinoisans before the COVID-19 pandemic were required to upload a resume on IllinoisJobLink.com, a state-run job bank. The state rescinded the requirement for those unemployed by the pandemic. Currently, employers have posted over 120,000 jobs on the state jobs site; residents have only posted 37,834 resumes.

This month, Washington joined a growing list of states to require unemployment recipients to search for a job. Illinois will not be joining them.

“I don’t want to pull the rug out from under people that have certainly legitimate reasons for remaining on unemployment,” Pritzker said when asked about the reform.

He also promised to keep paying the extra $300 in federal pandemic unemployment relief through the federal expirationdate of Sept. 6. Over half of states are already putting an early stop to the additional $300 over concerns it is incentivizing people to stay unemployed.

Thomas Barrack, a Trump ally, released on $250,000,000 bail

There are so many things wrong with the story of Thomas Barrack that it's hard to know where to begin. Briefly, Biden's DOJ charged Barrack, the man who chaired Trump's inaugural fund, with illegal lobbying for the UAE. Then, for the 74-year-old Barrack to get out of jail, a federal magistrate imposed a $250,000,000 bail on him, along with other serious restrictions on travel. This is a travesty of justice and a clear threat to Trump allies, past, present, and future.

As always, the Daily Mail has a good summary:

Donald Trump's billionaire ally Thomas Barrack is being released on $250 million bond after being charged with illegally lobbying the Trump administration on behalf of the United Arab Emirates.

The 74-year-old reached a deal with prosecutors on Friday that will see him released from custody while he awaits trial on charges of illegal lobbying.

A federal magistrate judge in Los Angeles signed off on the conditions of the agreement, which will include surrendering his passport, complying with a curfew, and wearing an ankle bracelet with GPS monitoring.

The agreement also calls for Barrack to put up a $250 million bond, secured by $5 million cash, which would be forfeited if he does not appear for court proceedings.

Barrack, who chaired Trump's inaugural fund in 2017 and founded the private equity firm Colony Capital, waived his right to appear in federal court.

He will be arraigned in federal court in Brooklyn, New York on Monday.

There are several points to be made here, which I offer in no particular order:

One: Before the Democrats weaponized it, few people had ever been prosecuted as unregistered foreign agents under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). An article from 2010 reveals that the act was intended to sweep up foreign nationals:

The major roll-up of 11 Russian spies-cum-suburbanites involves the relatively rare use of the criminal code that requires agents of foreign powers to register with the U.S. Justice Department – a provision that allows prosecution of covert foreign operatives working without diplomatic immunity.

Gosar, Gohmert, Gaetz, MTG Send Letter To DOJ Demanding They Stop Stonewalling Release Of 14,000 Hours Of 1/6 Video

Gosar is demanding the release of 14,000 hours of surveillance video from January 6, and answers for horrific reports of violence and abuse of January 6 prisoners.

National File has obtained a copy of the letter sent by Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), and signed by Reps. Louie Gohmert, Matt Gaetz, and Marjorie Taylor Green, to Biden administration Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding the release of 14,000 hours of footage from January 6 that the Department of Justice has in its posession, and demanding answers on the horrific conditions in which the detainees are being held.

The letter asks for a meeting in Garland’s office on Tuesday, July 27 “to discuss the status of the January 6th prisoners and related investigations” and notes that “many letters inquiring into their status from Members of Congress have gone unanswered.” Gosar notes that 535 people have been arrested at the time the letter was sent, and 7 months later the public has few answers.

“The undersigned offices in one form or another have been requesting the release of all 14,000 hours of raw footage from surveillance cameras. This is a matter of extreme public importance,” notes Gosar, before adding that “Several defendants have already made plea agreements, yet it does not appear that either they, or their counsel, have had access to this potentially exculpatory evidence.”

Many videos captured on January 6 show Capitol Hill police allowing protesters into the building, and even sanctioning their behavior so long as it remained peaceful. It seems logical to many that the 14,000 hours of surveillance video held by the Department of Justice may prove this incontrovertibly. “Every American citizen has a constitutional right to all the evidence before making any decision to go to trial,” Gosar notes, yet adds, “In our oversight capacity over the DOJ, we have asked multiple times for information only to have our inquiries ignored.”

St. Louis Prosecutor Who Pursued McCloskeys but Refused to Show for Murder Hearing Gets Savaged by Judge: 'Abandoned' Duty to Both City and the Law

Kim Gardner, the George Soros-backed circuit attorney for St. Louis, has been accused of job abandonment by a judge in her city.

You probably recall hearing Gardner’s name a lot last summer, as that is when her name became synonymous with Mark and Patricia McCloskey. The McCloskeys were prepared to use force to defend their homes last June as a mob of protesters converged on their private neighborhood.

The pair of attorneys stood their ground against the mob, with both brandishing guns in photos that went viral.

Gardner’s office went after them with a fury. Both were charged with felony unlawful use of a weapon and suddenly became the example of what might happen to people who stood up to rioters.

“It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner — that is unlawful in the city of St. Louis,” Gardner said when prosecuting the couple, The Associated Press reported.

Gardner was eventually pulled from the case by Missouri’s high court, and she has been accused of being a political operative with motives unrelated to justice.

According to a St. Louis judge this past week, Gardner is no longer running a functioning office after city prosecutors failed to show up in court multiple times when it was time to try an alleged murderer.

KSDK-TV reported St. Louis Circuit Judge Jason Sengheiser on Friday dismissed a murder case against a man named Brandon Campbell because there was no one from the city there to present a case against him. Additionally, prosecutors had denied the defense discovery.

Campbell’s attorneys asked the court a month ago to dismiss the case for “willful violations of the rules of discovery.”

Sengheiser granted them that motion of Friday, and he had harsh words for Gardner.

“The Court does not take this action without significant consideration for the implications it may have for public safety. Although presumed innocent, defendant has been charged with the most serious of crimes,” Sengheiser said.

“In a case like this where the Circuit Attorney’s Office has essentially abandoned its duty to prosecute those it charges with crimes, the court must impartially enforce the law and any resultant threat to public safety is the responsibility of the Circuit Attorney’s Office,” the judge said.

Campbell is alleged to have murdered a man named Randy Moore in the middle of a St. Louis street last April.

Moore’s sister, a woman named Brandy Veasley, excoriated Gardner in a statement to KDSK.

“Kim Gardner is a poor excuse for a prosecutor,” she said. “It’s not fair … I know she tries to give the Black people chances, but on a murder? No. No.”

A warrant has been re-issued for Campbell’s arrest.

Gardner, who the Washington Examiner reported was funded in 2016 by billionaire left-wing political activist George Soros, issued a statement Friday about Campbell’s release from jail.

“Be assured that as the Circuit Attorney of the City of St. Louis, I am accountable to the public for the actions of the office and remain committed as ever to upholding the highest possible standards and practices of accountability at all levels of this office, particularly the public safety of the residents of the City of St. Louis,” she stated. “As a result, the individual in this case is (sic) custody.”

Gardner had to issue a clarification to KDSK that Campbell remains at large. Gardner’s office intends to again arrest the individual for murder, once he is apprehended.
