Discard the DOCTRINES
There is much truth to be found
if you take those blinders off.
If all we do is believe only what we can see
putting aside ghosts, goblins, angels, devils
we can gather… that (example)
-
Noah was given a directive of non-violence
and was instructed about how exactly to eat meat.
Nothing was to be killed just for the sake of killing. If an animal did that, the animal would be destroyed.
-
Abraham lived by a directive of ONE wife
a wife that he loved
and needed to have an inheritor from a love marriage
-
Word was Truth : Abraham moved the tribe to Canaan to fulfill Noah's directive that Canaan would serve the main heritage line of Hebrews
-
At no time did God demand a blood sacrifice.
When Abel killed a lamb, likely to cook and eat (which before they were told to eat herbs etc) Cain was outraged at the violence and slew Abel, a shepherd (a KEEPER of sheep) for such evil (which would explain why there was no severe punishment) "am I my brother's keeper?"
Through the covenant with Noah we are told
Yes, you are your brother's keeper.

honor
There is a wealth of goodness in the Bible.
And you can see that there is a deep understanding
about what keeps a human being WHOLE and HEALTHY
Sin and uncleanness makes us twisted and ill.
Sin removes our honor.
How can we live in peace among each other
unless we can trust the honor of each other.
And you can find God, too.
Make yourself WHOLE and GOOD
and look for Him.
He is there to be found.
