Cain is the child of Adam but of the seducer/evil one. He became the first murderer.

In John 42-45 the words of Jesus address this question.

Quite possible. The books of the Nag Hamaddi Library describe a being with the head of a lion and body of a snake like that is cast out of it's realm and makes his way down to earth and impersonates God.

Best part for me is that these books include stories about Jesus/Yeshua
