So true. I've seen this on some of my research, and basically the CDC protocol looks to have been purposefully vague. Not just the cycle threshold of PCR, but everything.
Imagine all those labs, in all those different jurisdictions, each following its own local protocols or whatever. After that, each location would be following its own reporting statistics and method. Then the test kits themselves would have been sourced from different places.
There is an entire chain of events that has basically been out of 'effective control' since the beginning. This is one of the first things you would have to standardize in order to have any meaningful conclusions on the gathered data.
Total farce.
