I think this will largely sort itself out. A lot of effort has gone into creating opposition categories to the police.

Consider agitators like BLM and Antifa. These groups were created deliberately as a sort of insurgency to turn target groups against local law enforcement and centralize their department organization under federal statutes controlled, at the time, by deep state operatives.

It's a sort of stacking of the deck in preparation for the full on paramilitary insurgency. Yugoslavia was the model. They didn't just create terrorists, they inverted morality. We attacked the 'good guys' - the people responding to an attack with an injust media smear campaign to cover it.

With the drivers of this agitation destroyed and the Federal control over local police departments relaxed to allow communities to take back their laws and officers - this problem will largely work itself out.

People have no idea how incestuous the criminal world is. While crime won't disappear and there will still be a need for law enforcement, the old saying of "there is only one thief in the world, everyone else is just trying to get their shit back" rings closer to reality. Even the damage that has been done to blacks in the inner cities can heal in a remarkable amount of time.

Despite my own sharp tongued jabs, people aren't stupid. They are made to act stupid by controlling the information they have and trust to operate on. They generally do a pretty good job of looking after their own interests and considering the community along with it. It is how civilization was built in spite of savagery in the first place.

And I am failing the captcha… Do Androids Dream of electric sheep?

I would say this is notable.

Some kind of statute on the powers of a judge to block releasing information needs to be put into place. I get it that active investigations can't be blown wide open for criminals and their lawyers to destroy evidence or intimidate witnesses… But who watches the watchmen?

The people who pay for that officer and who consented to the concept of a police force deserve to know if it is under attack.
