An heir to the Seagram’s liquor business and the recent buyer of a $17,500,000 north Scottsdale mansion sold two of the priciest metro Phoenix homes in the past week.

Anup and Rupal Shah bought a 6,558-square-foot new home in Paradise Valley’s Mountain Shadows community. The modern-style home with five bedrooms and 5 ½ bathrooms has 16-foot ceilings, walls of glass, a soundproof theater room, a resort-sized pool with walls of fire and a guesthouse with its own garage.

Dr. David Smith of San Diego Comprehensive Pain Management Center and his wife, Alicia, sold the home.
