There are two distinct parties involved in the below. Judas and Satan:

Luke 22:3

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

John 13:27

And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

The above factor that comes into play when people engage the scriptures. This does happen to them:

Mark 4:

15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

IF they say it doesn't happen to them, they have been either stolen from or blinded by the fact of it happening.

Luke 11:24

When the unclean spirit is gone out of A MAN, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto MY HOUSE whence I came out.

None of the above = "the collective spirit of Christian adversity".

There IS an entire entity class termed satan and his devil-messengers that is NOT MAN in the scriptures. Jesus dealt with and confronted that entity class "IN MAN."

That ENTITY CLASS is being dealt with right now, IN MAN. In particular some of our illustrious so called "leaders."

But the fact is we ALL have to deal with temptations and sin brought forth from their activities in MAN and even in ourselves.

Jesus was not tempted by Himself as the devil, Satan, in His encounter with same in the desert. Nor was some other human being with Him there doing the tempting.

I doubt you've bothered to read much of what I posted, even less, understood.

The very simple observation in play is this:

Is there an entity class that is not man termed the devil and his messengers in the scriptures.

The simple answer is, yes. One of the most basic presentations of the scriptures.

How you spin it to make that presentation go away won't mean a thing 'cause it's already written.

One of the difficulties when tossing the fact of this entity class aside is making Jesus into Satan, tempting Himself. An observation dodged by most who take the "I don't see nuthin there" other than man.

Chiding is childish.

I expect more than a few Word followers have asked and contemplated the reality of God in Christ in today's world many times in many ways. It's entirely "normal" to engage in this direction.

Trying to spin God in Christ as only a peace keeper for example is a waste of time to anyone who engages scriptures. There are scriptures that say God is peace, love, etc. And there are scriptures that expose the exact opposites.

Trying to ignore the hyper Judgments of God is likewise futile.

Like Q, I might observe to QQQQQuestion reality at all times. When we do, we uncover lottsa interesting things.

It's the spice of life, to Question. And even to "test" our Queries for validity.

Trump, a rich man accountable to no one is an interesting "sign" in the scriptures. The allegories of scripture are very rich mining in that direction. It is a "sign" of judgments arriving on the scene. And not necessarily in a good way. I don't mean this derogatorily to Trump as a person. But we can easily see by his actions for example that "resistance" is aroused and brought to the fore. It's habbening daily. And this will INCREASE as things go along.

Resistance, judgments and separations all go hand in hand with the "rich man accountable to no one" sign. Trump just happens to be the current bearer of this sign. There have been many in the past. With Trump, I consider it a fortuitous sign of the time/times.

Ultimately, if we are on the page with Jesus, we understand the unavoidable reality that He is The Ultimate Anarchist of this current world:

1 Corinthians 15:24

24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when HE SHALL have PUT DOWN ALL RULE and ALL AUTHORITY AND POWER.

Think about the above, because that IS where we are being led, right here, right now.

Then ask yourself, if you are a believer, if you are ready for this. Paul asked the same question to himself and to us:

Romans 9:

22 What if God, WILLING TO SHOW HIS WRATH, and TO MAKE HIS POWER KNOWN, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

As with many scriptural postures there is a TWO FOLD state of affairs going on.

With WRATH also comes MERCY. Read Romans 9:23 for that portion.

Can't have one without the other.

When we observe how God does really operate, we will find that LAW empowers SIN, and does so in preparations for WRATH, which leads the way to MERCY and GRACE.

There will be a final "shaking." That shaking is to DIVIDE man from DEVILs.

And it WILL be interesting as all HELL breaks loose.

And if any believer ain't seein' it, right now, they just ain't lookin.
