The law still applies to sinners. 1 Tim. 1:9

All are sinners and have, present tense, sin. (too many to cite). If we claim we have, present tense, no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth isn't in us. 1 John 1:8

The devil and his own are lawless sinners, 1 John 3:8, and openly resist Gods Words inclusive of Gods laws, and do so in mankind. Mark 4:15, 2 Cor. 4:4, Eph. 2:2.

Trying to escape the conclusions never work out.

The evil present in man (Romans 7:21) was/is never cooperative with God, His Words, His Laws or anything else regarding Gods Ways. Nor is cooperation with God even possible by evil present.

To try to paint the evil present within anyone as anything other than the evil that it is will remain vain/futile/lies/hypocrisy.

The evil present in mankind remains condemned by Gods Laws. There is no lifting that verdict possible nor is anyone legally obedient in their entirety nor is that even possible, because evil comes from within ALL and defiles ALL. Matt. 15:19-20, Mark 7:21-23 and Matt. 5:28

People can try to imagine there is an out for their evil present within, but that doesn't exist according to the scriptures. It's a delusion. A fantasy. A lie. A concoction that false teachers shill for a buck to make people feel better about themselves instead of simply speaking truthfully about the facts.

People can certainly be saved and ARE SAVED, while simultaneously the evil present within remains condemned. It's not a one or the other standing nor is a one way sight on this subject required.

Honesty about it plays a more important role. Most believers simply aren't, because they can not see the internal reality scriptures present in these matters. And they can't see because evil present resists within them and blinds them to the obvious statements of scripture.

Evil present, in short, is demonic and the devil isn't about to listen or care about honesty or truthfulness. The devil would rather have believers lying their fool heads off and turn them into hypocrites, which is the typical path they are led into by our adversary. And in this believers are pawned, gamed, defeated.

I can't deny that believers love to be sold a bill of phony goods on these topics. But if we look closer it's not really them. It's the evil present within that is not them, that loves the lies and hypocrisy.

The fact remains that the Spirit remains against and in contention with the flesh, because of evil present within all. Gal. 5:17 won't budge or fudge on the subject. No one is about to become magically sinless, not even for a moment, in this present life. There was only ONE exception, God in Christ.

Believers shouldn't see the laws of God as our enemy. The law is the enemy of our mutual adversary, the devil-evil present. Therefore it is our friend. That is, until we think we are "legally obedient" or that our evil present is "under Grace" or "forgiven" or "saved," etc etc. None of these states exist when held up to scriptural facts.

Make of it what you can.
