In Video: Government Supporters Confront US Infantry Fighting Vehicles In Northeastern Syria

On July 27, government supporters intercepted a convoy of the US-led coalition near the town of Khirbet al-Dhiyabat in the northern countryside of al-Hasakah in northeastern Syria.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, the convoy, which consisted of seven vehicles, was forced to retreat from the town’s outskirts by angry locals.

“The locals cut off the road and prevented it [the convoy] from entering, this prompted occupation forces to leave and return to where they came from.”- local sources told the state-run news agency.

A video of the incident revealed that at least two of the convoy’s vehicles were M2A3 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs).

The Bradley IFV is armed with a 25 mm M242 chain gun, a 7.62 mm coaxial M240C machine gun and a dual TOW anti-tank guided missile, ATGM, launcher.

In October of 2019, the U.S.-led coalition deployed a number of Bradley IFVs in northeastern Syria after having withdrawn its troops from Aleppo and Raqqa. The coalition went on to deploy more IFVs in the region in September of 2020. These heavily-armed vehicles were originally deployed to support the Syrian Democratic Forces as well as to guard occupied oil and gas fields.

Government supporters have been working to restrict the movement of US-led coalition forces in northeastern Syria for more than a year now. Khirbet al-Dhiyabat encounter was not the first and will not likely be the last.

Congress’s Doctor Attempts To Defend Mask Mandate Without Covering Up His Face

House of Representatives Attending Physician Dr. Brian Monahan remained without a mask during a meeting with Republicans in which he defended the House’s new mask mandates.

Photos obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller show Monahan, a Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy, speaking to a room full of House Republicans on Wednesday afternoon. Monahan announced Tuesday night that representatives would be required to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. The Senate has not reinstituted a mask mandate.

Punchbowl News’ Jake Sherman first reported that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy had announced the meeting for members of the House Republican Conference.

Monahan lifted the House’s mask mandate for fully-vaccinated members on June 11. More than 85% of representatives and staffers were vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi instituted $500 fines for members who refused to wear masks at the beginning of the congressional session. At least three Republicans, Florida’s Brian Mast, Iowa’s Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Texas’ Beth Van Duyne, have received fines.

Not Just The Feds: Top Union Boss Says AFL-CIO Supports Mandatory Vaccines For Workers

As the Biden administration prepares to make vaccines mandatory for all federal workers, and the CDC Director hints at 'health passes' to be able to function in society, the nation's largest union boss says that the AFL-CIO supports mandatory vaccines for workers.

In comments to C-SPAN's "The Washington Journal," AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka said "Yes we do" when asked if the organization supported vaccine mandates. "If you are coming back into the workplace, you have to know what's around you."

Earlier this week, the Department of Veterans Affairs became the first federal agency to require that all its medical facility employees receive the jab, while President Biden on Tuesday announced that a mandate for federal employees is "under consideration right now" (with news orgs today reporting it's all but certain).

On Monday, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) announced that all city employees would either need to be vaccinated or submit to weekly COVID-19 tests starting Sept. 13, giving employees six weeks for unvaccinated employees to make up their minds.

But a union representing emergency workers with the New York City Fire Department, FDNY EMS Local 2507, opposed the mandate, saying “the city and the mayor cannot simply disregard the civil liberties of the workforce.”

Explaining why the AFL-CIO supports vaccine mandates, Trumka said on C-SPAN that “everybody” in the workplace would be jeopardized if a worker is not vaccinated. He also said it's hard to make proper accommodations if a business doesn’t know if an employee has been vaccinated. -The Hill

"After we get everybody vaccinated in the United States, we have to help people around the world get vaccinated so that more and more variants don't start springing up and jeopardizing us and our economy, so that we don't see another shutdown like we saw last year when COVID first hit," said Trumka, adding that "the best thing that can happen is a vaccination" to prevent COVID variants.

"The president has done a great job on COVID. What we need to do now is get more people vaccinated, and I think the mandate is an acceptable way to do it," he said.

Biden's Border Patrol Dumping COVID-Positive Illegals In Texas Town Via Local Charity

Police in La Joya, Texas are reporting that illegal immigrants who have tested positive for Covid-19 are being released from federal custody and into the hands of a Catholic charity - which then dumps them in local hotels without notice.

"On July 26, 2021, a La Joya Police Department Officer was waved down by a concern citizen at the Whataburger," according to a Facebook post by the La Joya PD. "The citizen explained to the Officer that she had observed a family group who were not being observant of proper health guidelines. She stated that the family was coughing and sneezing without covering their mouths and were not wearing face masks."

"The Officer approached the family and was told by them that they had been apprehended by Border Patrol days prior and were released because they were sick with Covid-19," the post continues. "It was also learned that the family was housed at the Texas Inn Hotel located at 612 E. Expressway 83 La Joya Tx. 78560, by a charity group. Officers made contact with Hotel management who explained that Catholic Charities of The Rio Grande Valley had booked all the rooms in the hotel to house undocumented immigrants that were detained By Border Patrol."

Cold War II: China Is Engaged in a Massive Nuclear Missile Buildup

Cold War II is heating up as Communist China radically increases its nuclear first-strike capability, new satellite images reveal.

The Federation of American Scientists (FAS) revealed earlier this week new satellite imagery showing a massive new silo field that could soon be home to as many as 110 nuclear missiles.

This new discovery comes close on the heels of news from June of construction of the first huge silo field in Gansu province.

Combined, China could in short order field an additional 230 nuclear-tipped missiles. While the Communist government is tight-lipped about its nuclear weapons program, FAS estimates that China had 260 total warheads as of 2015.

FAS also says that the “silo construction at Yumen and Hami constitutes the most significant expansion of the Chinese nuclear arsenal ever,” and if anything, that’s actually understating the threat.

The Print yesterday concluded that the huge expansion “indicates a shift in China’s nuclear policy.” China had previously maintained “a minimum deterrent” as part of its no-first-use policy.

The addition of 230 nuclear use-them-or-lose-them ground-based missiles will fundamentally alter the nuclear calculus between the US and China/Russia.

Assuming Beijing stuffs those new silos with their latest DF-41 ICBM, the country would easily double its current count of nuclear warheads — and radically increase its ability to hit targets across the entire continental United States.

That’s just if China sticks a measly single warhead in each DF-41. However, the missile is believed to be able to deliver between three and 10 multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles — AKA, nuclear warheads.

The United States Air Force has an active duty roster of 450 Minuteman III (LGM-30G) missiles that first entered service in 1970, the year after the Apollo 11 moon landing.

While the Minuteman III was designed to carry multiple warheads, they’re limited by the US-Russia New START agreement to a single warhead each.

Communist China is not an adherent to any nuclear weapons limitation treaties such as New START. And they will soon have an all-new ground-based missile force (in addition to their current forces) able to deliver, at the low end, around 875 warheads — nearly double our capability.

The Air Force is currently working with Northrop-Grumman to develop a new “Ground Based Strategic Deterrent” missile (GBSD) to replace the aging Minuteman ICBMs, but even if everything goes according to schedule, the first new missile won’t enter service until 2029.

GBSD won’t add anything to the size and reach of America’s ground-based nuclear deterrent, since it is merely a replacement program for missiles that are almost as old as I am.

Even so, Kris Osborn reported for The National Interest in June that “some have called for the elimination of the GBSD, calling for yet further upgrades to the Minuteman III, and some have even argued in favor of eliminating the ground-based portion of the triad.”

Meanwhile, China is also engaged in the largest naval expansion in peacetime history and is rapidly fielding fifth-generation stealth aircraft.

In the air, on the sea, and now in nukes, China is militarily challenging America like never before.
