He didn’t say it WAS a distraction - he said it could be USED as a distraction.
Get people to focus on that instead of the election stuff (Durham being less damaging to them than them doing the voter fraud bigly).
Essentially giving us that win in exchange for drowning out and memory holing that our elections have been fraudulent for who knows how long (at LEAST 12 years in WA).
