TikTok star Anthony Barajas has died in hospital, five days after he was shot in the head while on a first date at a California movie theater. The Corona Police Department confirmed the 19-year-old succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning, saying in a statement that they 'extend their condolences to his family and friends'. Barajas was at a late-night screening of The Forever Purge with Rylee Goodrich, 18, at The Regal Edwards Theatre in Corona on Monday when they were both gunned down. Goodrich, who was also struck in the head, died at the scene. Barajas was rushed to hospital in a critical condition. The theater was near-empty at the time of the attack, and the couple were not found until after the film was over. Jimmy Jiminez, 20, has been arrested over the shooting, which has been described by authorities as a 'random and unprovoked attack'. He did not know either Barajas or Goodrich.
