That's me. Thank heavens I've only lost around $15,000.00 There are so many others worse off than me. My problem right now is that I am not fully tenanted! I'm 2 short with 3 mortgages to service. It's really tough. I only have an Annuity because the bullshit artists I worked for kept telling me & my workmates that we'll all be really well off come retirement! If I hadn't taken out my own retirement annuities and realized they were fudging the figures when I was 41, I wouldn't even be in the relative comfort I am in now! I still have to work but it's not with the same urgency.
I tried to educate everyone in my work circle and suddenly I found I was "early retired" otherwise known as retrenched. 55 & looking for a job is quite a daunting prospect. Luckily I had 14 years of my master plan already in place and, until the plandemic, I was going along quite well. Now its day to day until I can get fully tenanted. Problem is there a lot of people out of work too!
