i don't believe this is intended to be hard evidence. it is just a clip/montage without real context.
i believe this is cm sending a message that they know and can prove in court.
if PXE is enabled and HDD is in the bios defined boot sequence the operator can control which environment the machine boots up in by controlling the master pxe node.
if it's off, machine boots into local offline mode.
if the master node is on, machine becomes a remote thin client.
makes it easy to tear down the tents and scoot out of town before the rubes get wise.
wonder who has the master pxe node.
that's just it. the machine can be "connected" to a network w/o the master node, and truly be airgapped, but if the master node is present it becomes a connected client, with the master acting as a wireless bridge.
so upon inspection, if no master present, passes all security scans.
