If you are using baker tools get to know this button better, if you are not give it a go.
When you find what you want after the ctrl+f, or scroll from where you are, or move generally, you can hit that button to take you back where you were. You can also just select the ID in a post and it will highlight all posts with that ID so you can also search without ctrl+f (that is native, not baker tools)
