Calculation of Prevention dose*:

113.6 mg ivermectin divided by 6 = 18.9 mg (prevention dose taken once per week)

Thus, weighing out 1 gram (6080/6=1013 mg) of paste should provide a single prevention dose

Calculation of Treatment dose*:

113.6 mg ivermectin divided by 5 = 22.8 mg (treatment dose taken each day for 5 days)

Thus, weighing out 1.2 gram (6080/5=1216 mg) of paste should provide a single prevention dose
