Figure HIV research has an MRNA vaccine, so not new.
Problem was HIV mutated too rapidly for a vaccine to be effective., but perhaps the formula could be tweaked for Covid.
Trump goes with the futures on it, and makes it free to the public. That is, he was sold an effective vaccine.
Pharma, though, could replace it with one that needed boosters, etc, and save the very effective one to be sold for big bucks at the right time, or to the "right" clients.
