It has not been isolated and the PCR tests, as well as the vaccine, were developed using sequences derived from China's data.

What I want to know is… If no one has isolated it - then how do we know its RNA sequence? If China hasn't isolated it… How do they know?

There are methods which insist they can sequence a virus without isolating it, but personally - I don't buy what they are selling as they can be sequencing almost anything from destroyed bits of cell and nucleotides to bacterial bits caught in the mix.

But if you are a medical student, eyes full of wonder at the magic of modern science and technology, being taught that a process can reliably sequence a virus from a tissue sample - you do not get taught or look into the many nuances which allowed a team to claim that process worked and prove it against standards set before… Nor how the way it has been adopted and transplanted makes the results extremely suspect and no one is bothering to go back and do the hard work to check using the old way.

So, my question is… How much of this is just using a bad testing process and bad sequencing process… Perhaps knowingly biased by bad initial data … To create panic over what would otherwise be standard seasonal colds?

Personally, I am of the opinion that our methods and source data are so bad that we couldn't tell a leaked lab virus from the seasonal cold viruses … If we could even tell what seasonal cold viruses one has with any kind of reliability.

They sequence nucleotides and then look for markers which appear unique. You can think of it like testing hundreds of sick people and then trying to find common sequences across them and then picking out any changes to what is common across them.

It's a statistics game.

People get sick every year, anon.

Why do you consider 2019/2020 to have been any different?

Because China released videos of people falling down in the streets. Then, China played around before finally admitting, "oh, yeah, we have a viral outbreak of a corona virus from someone slamming a zubat smoothie, and here is the sequence of the virus. And a test we are making for it so you can try and track it in your countries."

Lo and behold, it cropped up everywhere they looked, and at first appeared to follow from contact tracing (why test people who are sick but weren't near China or people who had been to China?)… But then it was endemic, everywhere.

Had there been no video from China, had there been no videos of police in China welding people into apartments (strange the CCP allowed that, no?)… Would anyone have thought to check for a novel virus?

Would there have been the financial incentives for hospitals to diagnose with a novel disease and put people on ventilators? Would there have been social pressure and fear pushing people to hospitals, testing sites, etc?

Simply put, even if there was a leak of a novel virus, the only reason there was the insane reaction to it was because China had an insane reaction to it and the rest of the world got a gestapo boner as they thought it was finally the time to do away with pesky notions of rights and liberties of the public.

Take a look at my prior posts.

I am not saying it tells them anything useful or accurate - just explaining what they do that leads them to believe they are not just making shit up.
