Officer shot multiple times
Around 2 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a disturbance in the 5900 block of Weber Road.
One of the subjects shot at the officers, striking one of them multiple times. The officer suffered severe injuries, a news release stated.
The department identified the officer as senior officer Manuel Dominguez. Dominguez is being treated at a local hospital and is in stable condition.
Dominguez has worked for the department for 20 years.
