The big thing is that a whois on my IP puts you in a railyard far away from me since that is where my ISP's edge router is located. My router is a black hole firewall, I run my own DNS server, and every box behind the router is individually firewalled and nothing is internet-facing. I dont visit anything that I am ashamed of so IDGAF if my ISP manages to follow me. The Brave and DDGO stuff doesnt give you IP cloaking but the anonsurf SAF does b/c it uses Tor circuits. Anon, a real easy way to do that is to either get a Pi 4B 8GB or an Intel Compute Stick and then study the install procedure for Kali Linux. Another way to do it is to learn how to build a "live stick" for Kali linux and then you can boot your regular PC off a stick drive. So if you have a Windows box and boot from the linux stick, you use your computing horsepower without having to change anything in your system.
In either case, then DDGO "anonsurf kali linux" and run that install. You have to Git the install and then chmod the install.sh script and then run it but it is NOT hard. When you do that, your internet connection gets routed through some private DNS and Tor circuits. You wont be able to post on 8chan but you will be anon AF.
