Are you referring to the children and human trafficking victims?

For many of them, getting rescued is only the first step. They will all have long roads of recovery ahead of them.

These victims are the ones that are going to need the most generosity, patience, love and understanding.

Many of these victims were born into it and grew up only knowing that lifestyle. Its going to take a very long time for them to even begin to fully understand what was done to them– and why it was allowed to happen, and why nobody intervened for so long and allowed this to continue.

Many will not be able to fully recover because the trauma was so severe and may have split some beyond repair. Getting them out of those environments is only the beginning.

(I myself am a human trafficking survivorfag. I escaped the trade myself. I can say from my own experience that they have very little resources (if any) to help adult trafficked victims with their recovery process. You pretty much get a pat on the back and a, "You're lucky to still be alive." before you're left to start a very lonely healing process.
