Hillsong founder Brian Houston has been charged with allegedly concealing information about child sexual abuse following a two-year investigation.

Sources close to the investigation have revealed Mr Houston, 67, is accused of failing to report the historic alleged abuse of a young male by his late father — Frank Houston.

"Police will allege in court the man knew information relating to the sexual abuse of a young male in the 1970s and failed to bring that information to the attention of police," a NSW Police spokesperson said.

Detectives served his lawyer with a court attendance notice, which requires the pastor to appear before a Sydney magistrate at the Downing Centre on October 5.

Brian Houston has been charged with concealing a serious indictable offence.

The evangelist has been based in the United States for several months despite the Australian border being closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr Houston preached at a service in Mexico last month.

On Sunday, Mr Houston gave a sermon from California, which was streamed live.

The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse heard Frank Houston admitted to the abuse, which took place in Australia and New Zealand several decades ago.

Frank Houston was allowed to retire from the church before the abuse became public.

He died in 2004.

Mr Houston has since released a statement stating he would "set the record straight", concerning the allegations.

"These charges have come as a shock to me," he said.

"I vehemently profess my innocence and will defend these charges, and I welcome the opportunity to set the record straight."

Bill de Blasio: ‘Voluntary Phase Is Over,’ Vaccine Passports Will Happen ‘All Over the Country’

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) at a press conference on Thursday touted the city’s aggressive action against the unvaccinated — forcing private businesses to discriminate against them — and declared the voluntary phase “over” while predicting that NYC-style vaccine passport requirements are “going to be happening all over the country.”

“Is there anyone out there that wants to go back to 2020? Does anyone want to go back to restrictions? Does anyone want to go back to seeing a huge loss of life?” de Blasio said, painting a bleak picture of returning to the lockdown era if New Yorkers do not succumb to government edicts and get vaccinated, regardless of their personal concerns.

“If you don’t want those things, take the delta variant seriously, and that’s why New York City is doing some of the most aggressive actions in America. We are setting the pace on purpose,” he boasted.

“We are taking bold action for ourselves but also to help everyone else take bold action. The Key to NYC Pass, this is what’s going to be happening all over the country,” he predicted, describing the ban on unvaccinated individuals entering indoor restaurants, gyms, and entertainment venues as the “shape of things to come.”

“Make no mistake. What we have put in place related to indoor dining, indoor entertainment, indoor fitness is the shape of things to come, and you’re going to see more and more companies do the same thing,” he said, predicting that cities, counties, and states will follow suit because “it’s time.”

“I want to thank President Joe Biden who embraced this idea immediately–literally within hours. This needs to be done all over this country to stop the delta variant,” the Democrat continued:

We can talk about any and all other issues, but the first thing we should be talking about is stopping this delta variant before it does more harm, and the way we do that is vaccination. And the way to get more people vaccinated is not just voluntary approaches, which I applaud, the incentives which we believe in and are working, but it requires mandates as well.

The Democrat mayor appealed to human nature as a primary reason for the rollout of these mandates, admitting the government is doing so to coerce Americans into complying with a desired behavior.

“We know human nature. A lot of people hearing there’s a requirement or requirement coming respond to that. It’s normal. It’s natural. The voluntary phase was great,” he said.

“[It] went on for seven full months, lots of incentives, lots of dialogue, lots of communication, lots of opportunity to talk to your doctor or pediatrician. The voluntary phase is over,” he declared.

“It’s time to mix mandates into this approach everywhere to defeat this enemy,” he added, explaining that NYC saw a 41 percent increase in people seeking their first coronavirus shot, comparing this last week to the first week in July.

Indeed, President Biden approved of New York City’s plan to force businesses to discriminate against the unvaccinated, responding “I do,” after a reporter asked Biden if he thought states and cities should take similar action.

Nicaragua Grants Citizenship to Former Salvadoran President Wanted for Corruption

Nicaragua granted citizenship to former Salvadoran President Salvador Sánchez Cerén, who is wanted back home for money laundering and corruption.

Sánchez Cerén fled El Salvador with his family in December. A judge in El Salvador ordered his arrest two weeks ago. Along with nine other high-ranking former government officials, he is wanted for illegal enrichment, embezzlement and money laundering.

Nicaragua’s official gazette announced the naturalization of Sánchez Cerén, his wife and children.

This isn’t the first time that a former Salvadoran president has successfully sought refuge in Nicaragua.

Ex-President Mauricio Funes, with whom Sánchez Cerén is closely associated, received asylum there in 2016 and citizenship three years later, also during the presidency of Daniel Ortega. Ortega himself is far from immune from international censure.

Funes, whose administration spanned from 2009 to 2014, faces charges for corruption and embezzlement of public funds amounting to US$351 million. But he has dodged Salvadoran prosecutors by becoming naturalized in Nicaragua, whose constitution bans extradition of Nicaraguan nationals.

Funes has continually maintained his innocence.

Other government officials under Funes’ administration - all former ministers - are currently wanted for their alleged participation in the same corruption scheme that landed Funes in hot water, but like Sánchez Cerén, have left the country.

Sánchez Cerén was vice president during Funes’ administration. It was during this period that he allegedly received illegal funds worth more than $500,000, according to El Salvador’s Attorney General’s Office.

Both Sánchez Cerén and Funes are members of the leftist Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front.

Several of El Salvador’s recent presidents are under investigation or have been charged for corruption.

Tony Saca, whose presidency lasted from 2004 to 2009, is currently serving a minimum ten year prison sentence, and ex-president Francisco Flores died in 2016 while awaiting trial for diverting $15 million from donations for earthquake victims to his personal and political party accounts.

Members of current president Nayib Bukele’s own administration have also come under fire for corruption.

Identities of living and dead people were stolen in Harris County, Texas to fraudulently vote in the 2020 election, according to bombshell audio obtained by NATIONAL FILE. A convicted forger who mailed the fraudulent ballot applications in Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s district worked as a campaign assistant for Sheila Jackson Lee’s 2020 campaign, and has gotten paid by Jackson Lee’s campaign efforts in the past. Jones was hired by the Biden campaign to run the Biden Texas operation. These captains have scores of paid vote harvesters working for them. Vote harvesting is a second-degree felony under the Texas Election Code. This is a criminal operation that these Democrat elected officials are running. Dallas Jones was picked up by the FBI, the weekend before last, for 2 days of interrogation. He was subsequently fired by the Biden campaign.

They harvest ballots by mail from nursing homes, homeless centers, door to door in poor neighborhoods, often dressed as Census workers. They offer $50 gift cards in front of stores asking people to take ballots by mail, acquired from the above, to sign and mail at a local post office. They hold ballots by mail in several locations where people forge signatures on the collected ballots by mail. Evidence has been presented to the local DA, Kim Ogg, who received a substantial amount of political contributions from Soros funded organizations in her election in 2018. The evidence included an affidavit and other evidence, including photographs, from a 30 year black police officer who was serving as a poll watcher and saw the election judge use a table full of IDs to vote unregistered people that were voting by drive through. This is a criminal act according to the Texas Election Code. The district attorney’s office did not even want to entertain our criminal complaint. This information along with other affidavits of harassment of poll watchers and alternate election judges was sent to the office of Republican Atty. General Ken Paxton.

The Democrat County clerk, Chris Hollins, instituted drive-through voting by anyone for any reason which is in violation of the Texas Election Code. A petition for writ of mandamus before the Texas Supreme Court last week to stop this illegal activity and they voted 7 to 1 to deny the petition. The County clerk has now opened up the early voting polling locations until 10 PM for the rest of the week until the last day of early voting, when eight polling places will be open 24 hours. Of the 120 early voting locations, the vast majority are in Democrat areas of the county. In violation of the Texas Election Code, Hollins independently mailed ballots by mail to all individuals 65 and older, in violation of Texas Election Code, which requires an individual to request a ballot by mail before it can be sent. Hollins planned on sending every registered voter a ballot by mail, but the Texas Supreme Court granted our petition and stopped this. The Harris County voter files have not been purged since 2016 when the Democrats took charge. We can document that dead people have voted in this election and people who have moved out of state. No arrest warrants have been issued and we do not expect them to issue any. In the meantime, the Democrats are implementing their massive election voter fraud scheme, mostly in open sight. One arrest would go miles in stopping this election fraud scheme. The drive through locations are located in primarily in Democrat areas. This also violates the 14th Amendment.”

Apple plans to scan US iPhones for child abuse imagery

Security researchers raise alarm over potential surveillance of personal devices.

Apple intends to install software on American iPhones to scan for child abuse imagery, according to people briefed on its plans, raising alarm among security researchers who warn that it could open the door to surveillance of millions of people’s personal devices.

Apple detailed its proposed system—known as “neuralMatch”—to some US academics earlier this week, according to two security researchers briefed on the virtual meeting. The plans could be publicized more widely as soon as this week, they said.

The automated system would proactively alert a team of human reviewers if it believes illegal imagery is detected, who would then contact law enforcement if the material can be verified. The scheme will initially roll out only in the US.

Apple declined to comment.

The proposals are Apple’s attempt to find a compromise between its own promise to protect customers’ privacy and ongoing demands from governments, law enforcement agencies and child safety campaigners for more assistance in criminal investigations, including terrorism and child pornography.

The tension between tech companies such as Apple and Facebook, which have defended their increasing use of encryption in their products and services, and law enforcement has only intensified since the iPhone maker went to court with the FBI in 2016 over access to a terror suspect’s iPhone following a shooting in San Bernardino, California.

Security researchers, while supportive of efforts to combat child abuse, are concerned that Apple risks enabling governments around the world to seek access to their citizens’ personal data, potentially far beyond its original intent.

“It is an absolutely appalling idea, because it is going to lead to distributed bulk surveillance of . . . our phones and laptops,” said Ross Anderson, professor of security engineering at the University of Cambridge.

Although the system is currently trained to spot child sex abuse, it could be adapted to scan for any other targeted imagery and text, for instance, terror beheadings or anti-government signs at protests, say researchers. Apple’s precedent could also increase pressure on other tech companies to use similar techniques.

“This will break the dam—governments will demand it from everyone,” said Matthew Green, a security professor at Johns Hopkins University, who is believed to be the first researcher to post a tweet about the issue.

Alec Muffett, a security researcher and privacy campaigner who formerly worked at Facebook and Deliveroo, said Apple’s move was “tectonic” and a “huge and regressive step for individual privacy."

“Apple are walking back privacy to enable 1984,” he said.

Morgan’s photos of several crossing points show cages (yes, cages) of illegal immigrants, absolutely disgusting bathroom facilities, and thousands of migrants crammed under bridges as they wait to be processed in 100-degree heat.

“It’s nuts. There are 4,000 people under that bridge. We’ve had storms. They were outside …100 degrees outside,” he said.

“The White House said migrants are being handled in a humane and orderly way,” Morgan said. “This isn’t humane or orderly, and it’s not the Border Patrol’s fault. They are doing all they can to deal with the disaster created by Biden.”

But the conditions are so much worse now under Biden, which neither the administration, Democrats in Congress, nor the media seem to care about.

“We were eviscerated day after day,” said Morgan. “Where are they now? The hypocrisy and double standard is undeniable. And the difference is we were doing everything we could to stop the flow while the Biden administration continues to encourage, incentivize and facilitate the flow of illegal migrants,” he added.

And then there’s the COVID factor. While fully vaccinated Americans are now being told to mask up indoors, a reported 7,000 illegal immigrants who tested positive for COVID were released into the United States in McAllen, Texas, alone.

MARK DICE INVESTIGATION: Video Shows Americans Are In Favor of Mandating Vaccines & Jailing “Anti-Vaxers”

Mark Dice is at it again.

The heavily censored YouTube creator is notorious for his on-the-street style interviews where he asks random people questions about relevant political issues. This time, even he seemed shocked at the responses he received.

In his most recent social experiment, he hit the streets of California to find out how many people would support forcing their fellow Americans to get the jab under the threat of jail time.

The fake petition he was asking people to sign was titled “Arrest Non-Vaxers.” Unsurprisingly, only one who signed can be seen reading the headline, and she put her name on it anyways.

Dice clearly explains to everyone he asks that, if they sign, it will help put “anti-vaxers” in jail. You can even see him make more and more ridiculous statements in an attempt to see where the vaxtivists would draw the line on trampling other people’s freedoms.

Thankfully there are a few sane Americans who told him to go kick rocks, one even called him a scumbag for the asinine suggestion, but there were a shocking number who were all too happy to sign.

In one exchange Dice explains to a woman that if people don’t want to get vaccinated “we can put them into jail to make them think about why it is they are refusing.” She happily signs and says “well that’s what I think should happen.”

One woman even exclaims “Good! Yay!” When Dice says that “we will take care of” Americans who refuse to get the jab.

Three CNN Employees Fired for Going to Work Unvaccinated

CNN has fired three employees for going in to work without getting the vaccine.

The network has mandated that people who go to work in person must be fully vaccinated.

CNN President Jeff Zucker announced the firings in leaked memo that he sent to employees on Thursday, obtained by The Hill.

“In the past week, we have been made aware of three employees who were coming to the office unvaccinated,” the memo states. “Let me be clear — we have a zero-tolerance policy on this.”

“You need to be vaccinated to come to the office. And you need to be vaccinated to work in the field, with other employees, regardless of whether you enter an office or not. Period,” Zucker stated.

Zucker said that the company had previously been going by the honor system and that it was not mandatory to provide proof of vaccination. However, due to the three employees who had not been vaccinated, he said that they “expect that in the weeks ahead, showing proof of vaccination may become a formal part of the WarnerMedia Passcard process.”

The memo also announced that the official return date for CNN offices has been moved from Sept. 7 to early or mid-October.

“This was not an easy decision, and there is much to consider. The bottom line is that, based on the information that is available today, and what experts expect to evolve with the virus in the weeks ahead, September 7 no longer feels appropriate,” Zucker said.

Starting on Thursday, employees at their offices in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta must wear face masks — even if they are vaccinated.
