Doctors are given the power of life and death. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Medical errors are the 3rd leading cause of death in the US, but rarely are doctors prosecuted for their murders and negligent homocides. I think even Judges must be envious of their immunity from prosecution.
