While Out on Bail for Raping Domestic Violence Victim, Cop Arrested AGAIN for Raping Another Victim

Spokane, WA — The now-former Spokane police officer Nathan Nash, 38, has been out on bail awaiting trial for the alleged rape of a woman who called police for help after she had been the victim of domestic violence. While awaiting his trial, Nash was arrested again this week on new charges of raping another woman while on duty who also called police for help.

In the new case, Nash faces charges of second-degree rape and unlawful imprisonment, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office reported in a news release this week.

According to police, Nash was first arrested in 2019 for the first instance and then fired by the department shortly after.

According to the arrest reports, both victims told investigators that Nash was the officer who showed up to their calls for police assistance. Though nothing happened on the first visit because he was accompanied by a partner, Nash allegedly followed up later on, alone.

According to police, it was during these “follow-up” visits that Nash raped his victims. The Spokesman-Review reported that Julie Humphreys, a spokesperson for the Spokane Police Department, said it’s not uncommon for officers to follow up on an investigation alone, but corporals would typically be the ones to take pictures for evidence.

After his arrest, the department issued a statement similar to the one they released in 2019 after his first arrest.

“I (we) would like to thank those who showed great courage by coming forward and bringing these allegations to light,” Chief Craig Meidl wrote.

In the first instance, Nash responded to a 911 call in October 2019 from a woman who told dispatchers that her boyfriend beat and choked her during an argument and subsequently stole her car. After initially responding to the woman’s home with other officers, Nash showed back up at the victim’s home eight days later.

While he claimed to be investigating her injuries, Nash physically penetrated the woman’s vagina with his fingers. For these alleged actions, he was charged with second-degree rape and two counts of official misconduct. He has been awaiting trail for nearly two years.

The second instance will undoubtedly hinder the officer’s plea of not guilty.

The second instance which led to the arrest this week, reportedly unfolded four months before the first one. In a similar situation, Nash and his partner showed up to the home of a domestic violence victim. After taking statements that day, Nash came back the next day, this time he was alone.

According to court records, Nash called the woman and told her to put on a dress before he arrived so he could “photograph her injuries.” Nash arrived alone wearing his black Spokane Police Department uniform jumpsuit along with his duty belt that held his gun, the victim told investigators, according to the Review.

Nash then asked the victim if he could take off his radio. Nash bent and looked at the victim’s leg, which she told police she thought was to look for injuries.

Then Nash pulled the victim’s dress up and reached into her underwear, the victim said. Nash asked the victim if that hurt and she said no, according to the victim.

The victim told investigators she was shocked and didn’t know what to do, saying, “He had a gun and everything … he had his uniform on,” according to court documents.

The victim told investigators she thought Nash might shoot her if she resisted. Nash pushed the victim onto the couch, took her clothes off, and raped her, the victim told police.

The federal government gave at least $2.7 million in taxpayer money to researchers who sought out minority babies who had been aborted in order to harvest their organs, according to internal documents released Tuesday.

The University of Pittsburgh targeted minorities in its request for infant organs—including those taken from full-term babies—to create a “pipeline” for fetal research. Researchers said they needed 50 percent of the donated fetuses to be minorities and specified that 25 percent must come from black women. The Pittsburgh metropolitan area is 85 percent white and 8 percent black. Researchers stressed the importance of maintaining organ blood flow in the request, which watchdogs say could violate federal law by asking doctors to illegally preserve organs during labor-inducing abortions.

France, Italy Set To Unleash Increasingly-Restrictive COVID-19 Health Passes

Unvaccinated citizens of France and Italy are set to face tighter restrictions after officials ruled in favor of COVID-19 health passes for those attempting to enter restaurants, bars, and hospitals, as well as travel.

In France, the country’s top constitutional authority on Aug. 5 agreed with most aspects of a new law that requires citizens to carry a special COVID-19 health pass from next week onwards.

A health pass is only given to those who have been fully vaccinated, recently recovered from an infection, or recently tested negative from the virus.

The new restrictions mean residents will only be allowed to access cafes, restaurants, and, in some cases, hospitals, if they show the health pass.

While the pass has been in effect in France since July 21 for cultural and recreational venues, including cinemas, concert halls, and theme parks with capacity for more than 50 people, the new law vastly extends its application.

The Constitutional Council also ruled Thursday that the passes would be required for long-distance travel by train, plane, or bus, The Associated Press reported.

It also approved a ruling that health care workers should be vaccinated against the virus by Sept. 15 and hospital visitors will also require a health pass.

The special court did strike down several measures in the law, including the automatic 10-day isolation of people infected with the virus only being allowed to go outside for only two hours per day, which it said goes against French freedoms.

It struck down suspension of short-term contracts for those without a health pass - while accepting a suspension without remuneration of salaried employees with long-term contracts.

President Emmanuel Macron announced the proposed legislation in July and it was sped urgently through parliament last week amid an increase in COVID-19 cases in the country due to the highly contagious delta variant.

However, opponents of the measures accuse Macron of trampling on freedoms and discriminating against the unvaccinated.

The court’s recent ruling sparked protests in front of the Constitutional Council in Paris, with several hundred people denouncing the ruling, while more protests are planned for this weekend.

Joe Biden accuser Tara Reade had some harsh words for White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki - who said that claims against President Biden were "heavily litigated" already.

"Did I miss the investigation and litigation?" Reade shot back over Twitter. "I sure did not miss the smears and attacks on my character during Joe Biden’s campaign as I came forward. Was it safe to come forward? I think not."

Meanwhile, a 1996 court filing appears to corroborate Reade's account. The filing - made by Reade's ex-husband Theodore Dronen while contesting a restraining order she filed against him days after he filed for divorce - reveals Reade told him about "a problem she was having at work regarding sexual harassment, in U.S. Senator Joe Biden's office."

And in a March 2020 interview with Rolling Stone's Katie Halper, Reade described a graphic incident from 1993 in which as superior asked her to run a gym bag to Biden "down towards the capital." When Biden greeted her (not allegedly of course, since we're believing all women), he forced her up against a wall and shoved his hands up her skirt.

Biden's "hands were on me and underneath my clothes," she said, after he "had me up against the wall."

"I remember him saying first, like as he was doing it, ‘Do you want to go somewhere else,'" she said, adding "And then him saying to me when I pulled away, he got finished doing what he was doing, and I kind of just pulled back and he said, ‘Come on man, I heard you liked me.’ And that phrase stayed with me because I kept thinking what I might’ve said and I can’t remember exactly if he said ‘i thought’ or ‘I heard’ but he implied that I had done this."

Reade then went on to say that “everything shattered in that moment” because she knew that there were no witnesses and she looked up to him. “He was like my father’s age,” she said. “He was like this champion of women’s rights in my eyes and I couldn’t believe it was happening. It seemed surreal.”

Reade then said Biden grabbed her by the shoulders and said, “You’re okay. You’re fine” and proceeded to walk away.

Reade said that Biden also told her something after the alleged assault that she initially didn’t want to share because “it’s the thing that stays in my head over and over.” But after some pressing from Halper, Reade decided to share:

“He took his finger. He just like pointed at me and said you’re nothing to me.”

Chinese Regime Has Stolen Enough Data to Compile ‘Dossier’ on All Americans: Official

A former U.S. national security official warned that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is stealing data to compile a “dossier” on every American adult and may use coercive means to influence private citizens and political leaders.

During a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing this week, former Trump deputy national security adviser Matthew Pottinger said the CCP has stolen Americans’ sensitive data via illicit methods, including cyber theft and hacking.

“Assembling dossiers on people has always been a feature of Leninist regimes, but Beijing’s penetration of digital networks worldwide, including using 5G networks … has really taken this to a new level,” Pottinger said, referring to former Soviet dictator Vladimir Lenin.

With the information the CCP has obtained, he said, it “now compiles dossiers on millions of foreign citizens around the world, using the material that it gathers to influence, target, intimidate, reward, blackmail, flatter, humiliate, and ultimately divide and conquer.”

Going a step further, Pottinger sounded the alarm that “Beijing’s stolen sensitive data is sufficient to build a dossier on every single American adult and on many of our children too, who are fair game under Beijing’s rules of political warfare.”

For years, the CCP has engaged in campaigns to steal U.S. intellectual property and technology secrets in a bid to militarily and geopolitically gain an advantage over the West.

The regime has also carried out significant hacks against private entities, including last month’s alleged cyberattack against Microsoft—which the United States and its allies blamed on the Chinese Ministry of State Security. In addition, four Chinese nationals were charged by the Department of Justice over a number of separate cyber intrusions that targeted corporate and research secrets.

During the hearing, the former director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center, William Evanina, said that the CCP is using a “whole of country approach” to “leverage, infiltrate, influence, and steal from every corner of U.S. success.”

“It is estimated,” Evanina warned, “that 80 percent of American adults have had all of their personal data stolen by the CCP, and the other 20 percent most of their personal data.”

Furthermore, he said that the Chinese regime poses an “existential threat” to the United States and is employing “complex, pernicious, strategic, and aggressive” tactics to accomplish its goals.

CBS Affiliate Partners With Chinese Communist State TV to Air Documentaries ‘Showcasing Achievements’ of Brutal Regime.

A CBS affiliate station has partnered with the Chinese Communist Party to air content “showcasing the achievements China has made” as part of a broader agreement with a state-run Chinese university to share documentaries “promoting Chinese culture,” The National Pulse can reveal.

A press release from Zhejiang Radio & TV Group reveals that the state-run broadcaster is partnered with the CBS News affiliate station KCFJ 570 AM. Among the programs played on the California station are CBS News shows such as 60 Minutes and Face The Nation along with America Outdoor Radio, Farm and Ranch Report, and Land and Livestock Report.

The station will also begin airing a documentary that has been “designated to showcase the achievements” of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) as part of the regime’s broader “International Media Convergence Campaign”.

The news is the latest evidence that the CCP has seized the means of media production in the United States, and comes on the back of a National Pulse exposé of reporters, editors, and other media figures who have taken trips to China on the dime of CCP propaganda groups.

The July-issued press release from Zhejiang Radio & TV Group states:

The launching ceremony also witnessed the establishment of an international communication alliance for China’s “Important Window”, which refers to Zhejiang Province that has been designated to showcase the achievements China has made under Communist Party of China leadership. The alliance’s international members now include CBS KCFJ570AM in the USA, IDF1 TV Station in France, SBS TV Station in the Republic of Korea, OTV in Croatia, and the national TV station of the Republic of the Congo.

The international channel of Zhejiang TV Station, or ZTV World, has signed a framework agreement with these five members for overseas broadcast of its documentary titled Liangzhu. According to the agreement, the documentary will be broadcast on these five media platforms in their local languages to offer the global audience a view of the splendid Liangzhu Culture.

The agreement comes amidst the station’s ongoing partnership with the Chinese Communist Party-run Beijing Normal University (BNU) on the “Looking China” Project.

Released Emails Completely Expose WaPo 'Fact-Checker' Glenn Kessler

This may be my favorite story in a while. Being a writer on the conservative side of things, we obviously deal with bias in media on a daily basis. If we aren’t writing about it, we are being targeted by it, especially in regard to social media. So when a story comes along that good and fully exposes how the sausage is made at major “news” organizations, it’s extremely satisfying to see.

Enter Glenn Kessler of The Washington Post. Emails have been released from someone the “fact-checker” contacted in the process of trying to orchestrate a hit piece against major CRT opponent Christopher Rufo. What they contain is a fascinating look into how the dishonest hacks at these supposed journalistic outfits operate.

Before I even get into the meat of this takedown, I just want to point out how dumb this “fact-check” is in the first place. Kessler was really going to write a piece about how Rufo was supposedly lying about where he heard about Critical Race Theory? Of all the lies flowing within political life right now, including those coming every single day from the White House, that is what he thinks is newsworthy? That alone is enough to demonstrate the abject bias on display.

Yet, the email gets much worse. We then see Kessler trying to drive a wedge between Karlyn Borysenko (to whom the email was sent) and Rufo, with the claim being made that Rufo had “falsely” said he had an anonymous tipster and that he had stolen the idea from Borysenko. Kessler presents that claim as fact in the email despite not having proven it yet. It’s clear he wasn’t aware of who he was dealing with as he tried to set up this hit piece.

Luckily, Borysenko is an honest actor and put Kessler in his place by making this public. She confirmed that Rufo had the same source and that he had not stolen the idea from her. She also seemed to take offense at the idea that Rufo’s work is spinning a false “anti-white” narrative.

Once that embarrassing email went public, Kessler responded, upset that he and his tactics had been exposed.

Family Court Judge Rules Against Jeffrey Younger, Grants Full Custody To Mother Who Wants To Gender Transition Son

A Texas judge ruled that a boy whose mother wants to raise him as a girl will be given temporary full custody, despite protest from his father, who will receive only limited visitation rights.

Judge Mary Brown ruled against Jeffrey Younger, who made national headlines in 2019 and 2020 regarding the custody battle for his son, James, whose pediatrician mother, Dr. Anne Georgulas, claimed the boy wishes to be a girl named Luna.

“Mr. Younger failed to timely make the payments of child support, medical support and interest as ordered and only paid his past due support after the motion for enforcement was filed,” the court memorandum ruling reads, as reported by The Texan.

“The prior orders that Ms. Georgulas must notify Mr. Younger of doctor’s, counseling, or mental health appointments, or extracurricular activities for the children are lifted. In an effort to ensure the emotional well-being and physical safety of the children, the court orders that all of Mr. Younger’s possession periods shall be continuously supervised by Forensic Counseling Services … at Mr. Younger’s sole cost and expense.”

As The Texan noted, Brown “awarded Georgulas exclusive control over James’ primary residence, counseling, medications, education, and extracurricular activities.” The outlet continued:

Hospitals in THE RED STATE OF TEXAS officially go jo jab no job!

Methodist Health System, Cook Children’s Medical Center and Texas Health Resources have added themselves to the list of hospitals requiring COVID-19 vaccines for employees.

The health systems said in news releases that employees, including providers, are required to have the COVID-19 vaccine to continue work.

Texas Health Resources is requiring employees to be vaccinated by Sept. 10. Cook Children’s, which has recently seen a spike in child COVID-19 cases, will require all employees and providers to be fully vaccinated by Sept. 27. Methodist said all employees and providers have until Oct. 1 to become fully vaccinated.

Cook Children’s said in the release it currently has 24 children being treated for COVID-19, with positive cases across the health care system at 11.3% over the past week. That figure was at 1% June 2.

The decisions come within a week of Baylor Scott & White’s announcement that all employees and providers must be fully vaccinated by Oct. 1.

Piers Morgan Calls for Unvaccinated to be Denied Medical Treatment

Since Piers Morgan left Good Morning Britain in a tantrum, he has been having to find ways to get attention and stay relevant. As a result, he has been leading the charge for unvaccinated people to face government-sanctioned discrimination after he stated that those who haven’t had the Covid vaccine should be denied medical treatment.

In a tweet, Piers said: “Those who refused to be vaccinated, with no medical reason not to, should be refused NHS care if they then catch covid. I’m hearing of anti-vaxxers using up ICU beds in London at vast expense to the taxpayer. Let them pay for their own stupidity & selfishness.”

Of course, Morgan failed to mention that the official data shows that 87% of people who have died were vaccinated. From the 26th of June to the 23rd July 2021, Public Health Scotland (PHS) claims that 38,067 positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the unvaccinated population. However, within the same time frame, just 15,485 positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the fully vaccinated population.

Although, of the unvaccinated population, 863 people have been hospitalised in the same time frame. Whereas of the fully vaccinated population, 763 people have been hospitalised in the same time frame.

This means that just 2.3% of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the unvaccinated population have resulted in hospitalisation. Whereas 5% of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the fully vaccinated population have resulted in hospitalisation.

Therefore, it appears that there are more “breakthrough cases” being hospitalised than individuals who are unvaccinated.

Additionally, Morgan fails to mention that those who are unvaccinated and choose not to get the jab also pay for the NHS through their taxes.

Following this, Morgan also called those who haven’t gotten vaccinated “incredibly stupid and deeply depressing,” asking “what the f*ck is wrong with you????”

Judicial Watch Sues State Department for Records of U.S. Diplomats Subjected to Anal COVID Tests by China

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the State Department for non-identifying records of U.S. diplomatic personnel being subjected to invasive COVID-19 “anal swab” tests by the Chinese government (Judicial Watch v U.S. Dept of State (No. 1:21-cv-02111)).

This lawsuit was filed after the State Department failed to respond to a June 18, 2021, FOIA request for:

All records about US diplomatic personnel in or seeking to enter China being subjected to anal swab tests for the COVID-19 virus, including all complaints and communications regarding such testing. This request does not seek any personal identifying information of US diplomatic personnel that may have been subjected to such testing.

In February2021, it was reported that U.S. diplomats were subjected to anal swab testing for COVID-19 by the Chinese government. At the time, the State Department told The Hill that,

Chinese officials who forced American diplomats to undergo an anal swab for COVID-19 testing did so “in error,” the State Department told The Hill on Thursday, as Beijing denies it conducted the tests at all….

A State spokesperson responded to a request for comment from The Hill by saying that the department “never agreed” to such tests and had protested directly to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs following complaints from staff.

No Evidence of FBI leaks to Giuliani, media in Clinton probe, Justice inspector general

The inspector general looked into whether anyone had improperly tipped off Giuliani

The Justice Department's inspector general says he did not find evidence that FBI agents shared inside information about the Hillary Clinton email investigation with Rudy Giuliani, a personal lawyer for former President Trump.

The issue of whether anyone had leaked information to Giuliani arose after he said in an Oct. 26, 2016, TV appearance that then-presidential candidate Trump had "some pretty big surprises" to share in the coming days. Two days later, then-FBI Director James Comey announced the agency would reopen the investigation into Clinton using a private email server while secretary of state.

The inspector general looked into whether anyone had improperly tipped off Giuliani, and more broadly examined contacts between FBI officials and reporters during the course of the investigation, according to the Associated Press.

Giuliani told the IG's office that he had not received any information about the Clinton investigation and that he was shocked by Comey reopening the probe, essentially days before Election Day between the Democratic nominee and Trump.

As part of the investigation, the inspector general's office asked the FBI to determine which agents, if any, may have been in touch with Giuliani. The FBI identified four employees, but each employee told the watchdog office during interviews they had not had any contact with Giuliani, according to the report released Thursday.

The FBI said that the four employees had used their FBI devices to call telephone numbers associated with Giuliani, but the inspector general's office said that information was either outdated or meaningless.

The inspector general said it had concluded that the phone numbers used by the FBI were for the general line of the New York office of the law firm where Giuliani had worked and that two other telephone lines were for businesses “at which Giuliani had not been affiliated since at least 2007," the wire service also reports.

The first defection took place in the district of Grishk. 67 personnel of the ANA and the Afghan National Police (ANP) joined the Taliban’s ranks after handing over 27 assault rifles, two RPG-7 rounds, eight sniper rifles, six heavy machine guns and six handguns.

In the district of Nawa-I-Barakzayi, 247 personnel of the ANA and the ANP defected. The defectors handed over 53 assault rifles, five heavy machine guns, four RPG-7 rounds, four mortar rounds, a sniper rifle, four handguns, three light machine guns, a pickup truck and a motorcycle to the Taliban.

And in the district of Nad Ali, 53 employees of the Kabul government “surrendered” to the Taliban. The employees handed over 13 assault rifles and a sniper refile to the group, which promised not to harm them.

“The said employees promised that they will not return to the ranks of the enemy, thus they were given safety cards,” the Taliban said in a press release.

The Taliban may have exaggerated the numbers of defectors in Helmand. Nevertheless, there is no denying that more and more personnel are leaving Afghan government forces and state jobs out of fear of the Taliban’s rapid advance in the country.

Within weeks of US President Joe Biden’s announcement of the withdrawal of US troops last May, the Taliban have marched on to capture almost half of Afghanistan’s nearly 400 districts. Afghan government forces are showing fierce resistance in few areas, like the northwestern city of Herat. However, they are collapsing on most fronts.

Iran’s New Hardline President Sworn In, Vows ‘Resistance’ To “Arrogant” West

Hardline cleric and former head of the judiciary Ebrahim Raisi was officially sworn in as the new President of Iran in the country’s parliament in Tehran on Thursday. The heads of all major branches of government were in attendance, as well as top military officials during the televised ceremony, including representatives from over 80 countries, according to regional media. Hezbollah and Hamas representatives were also seen in attendance, ironically sitting just in front of a top EU official.

Raisi won over 60% of the votes in the July national election, and is seen as a close ally of the Ayatollah. He said in his inaugural speech and transfer of power from the more ‘moderate’ Hassan Rouhani, who stepped down due to term limits, that “The policy of pressure and sanctions will not cause the nation of Iran to back down from following up on its legal rights.”

However, his general ‘resistance’ message was coupled with allowing diplomacy with both the US and Saudi Arabia, in hopes that Washington will soon lift sanctions, also as stalled nuclear negotiations in Vienna are set to continue into their seventh round this month.

“The sanctions must be lifted,” he emphasized. “We will support any diplomatic plan that supports this goal,” he said during the half-hour address.

But then as The Times of Israel relates he also vowed expansion of Iranian influence in the region to protect and provide justice for the “oppressed”:

“Wherever there is oppression and crime in the world, in the heart of Europe, in the US, Africa, Yemen, Syria, Palestine,” he said, his voice rising with emotion. “The message of the election was resistance against arrogant powers.”

Wearing the traditional black turban that identifies him in the Shiite tradition as a direct descendant of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, Raisi recited the oath of office with his right hand on the Quran.

New York City Protest Against Mandatory Vaccination Passports, Monday August 9th, Noon at City Hall

It can well be argued that New York City’s requirement for a vaccine passport is the canary in the coal mine; the test scenario to see how much real opposition exists to government mandated vaccination policies. U.S. authorities arrested and charged a wealthy Syrian national living in Florida for bribing Venezuelan officials to obtain procurement contracts from state-owned or state-controlled food and energy companies and laundering the bribes, a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) statement said.

Naman Wakil, 59, allegedly bribed officials at a Venezuelan food company Corporación de Abastecimiento y Servicios Agrícola (CASA), and the energy company Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA), to obtain roughly US$250 million in contracts to sell food to CASA and do business with PDVSA joint ventures.

He laundered the money related to the bribes to and from Florida bank accounts and bought 10 condos, a $3.5 million plane and a $1.5 million yacht, among other luxury purchases.

If convicted, Wakil faces a maximum penalty of 80 years in prison, the DoJ statement said on Wednesday.

This is not the first time Wakil has found himself at the center of notoriety. In 2016, he was mentioned in the McClatchy series of the Panama Papers scandal that erupted when journalists revealed how Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca helped wealthy clients avoid taxes and hide their money in offshore accounts.

Wakil’s business endeavours also brought him into contact with the highest echelons of the Venezuelan government, including General Carlos Osorio Zambrano, with whom Wakil allegedly defrauded the government of millions in a procurement scam.

In 2012, Osorio was head of CASA and Wakil allegedly bribed two officials - who were the general’s wife’s brothers - to obtain a beef procurement contract. He purchased 40,000 tons of Brazilian beef at a discounted rate, given its expiring shelf life. But his invoices to the government claimed the beef was purchased at market price. Wakil then made off with the $76 million in profits.

General Osorio has denied being involved in the deal.

Leaked emails from Mossack Fonseca list Wakil’s net worth at roughly $400 million, of which a substantial portion was amassed through illicitly acquired government contracts.

Venezuela has fallen victim to having billions of dollars embezzled out of its economy, including through PDVSA and CASA.

As a result, the country’s economy has experienced sharp declines in recent years, contributing to rising levels of extreme poverty, deprivation of basic human needs, and emigration.

Chinese police detain boss of bogus firm that helped people buy babies

In the eastern Chinese city of Weifang, there was a company, seemingly above board, that was advertising itself as a reproductive health business. The paperwork was in order, it had a storefront and looked like any other business.

The entire enterprise, it turned out, was a front for a group of middlemen that were connecting people desperate to have a baby with women who were pregnant or had just given birth. They were, to put it simply, facilitating the buying and selling of babies.

After a report was published by The Paper on Monday (Aug 2), police in Weifang, in Shandong province, detained the head of the company, surnamed Zhu, and accused her of human trafficking and running an illegal surrogacy company.

It is unclear how many transactions were completed, but Zhu told police she had discussions with between 20-30 potential customers per year, according to The Paper.

The investigation, a partnership between the Shanghai-based news outlet and an anti-trafficking advocate named Shangguan Zhengyi, had approached the police on July 30 with proof that Zhu’s claim of “facilitation adoptions” was a front.

The police said they opened an investigation on Aug 1, using evidence discovered in the sting. The report was published the next day and Zhu was arrested hours later.

According to Shangguan, there is a cottage industry in China of companies that will charge people anywhere from tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of yuan (a few thousand US dollars to around 20,000 US dollars (S$27,000)) to help them buy a newborn.

In this case, Shangguan discovered a WeChat group of about 100 people that organised surrogacy and human trafficking efforts. He posed as someone hoping to get a baby and spent about a year in the group before he was contacted by Zhu.

Shangguan said the group “moved around” WeChat to evade authorities, but every iteration generally contained the same people.

According to the report, Zhu contacted Shangguan and said she had some surrogate clients that would be willing to sell a baby.

In a complicated process outlined by The Paper, Shangguan was eventually driven to the hospital to meet his “new baby” and the post-partum nurse.

El Salvador Mayors Cash in on Migrant Smuggling

In two separate cases in El Salvador, mayors are accused of heading migrant smuggling rings, a crime that, like drug trafficking, local officials in border regions are well positioned to facilitate.

Former mayor José Narciso Ramírez Ventura appeared before a judge August 2 to face charges that he led a ring that smuggled Central American migrants to the United States, La Prensa Grafica reported. He was the mayor of San Francisco Menéndez, a municipality located on El Salvador's western border with Guatemala, from 2006 to 2018.

Prosecutors accused Ramírez Ventura and two other people, Pedro Aguirre Rivas and Wilfredo Castro Morán, of heading a group of coyotes that charged migrants up to $12,000 to be smuggled across unmonitored crossing points. The group moved at least 40 people from El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua who sought to reach the United States, a state prosecutor told El Diario de Hoy.

Meanwhile, another mayor in El Salvador was convicted last month of leading a separate migrant-smuggling ring. Benjamín Romeo Machuca Díaz, mayor of Concepción Batres in southeastern El Salvador, was sentenced to six years in prison.

Machuca Díaz's network charged between $3,000 and $4,000 to smuggle migrants to the United States, working with contacts in Guatemala and Mexico to ensure their passage over each border, according to a statement. The Attorney General's Office identified three to five cases in which the network had smuggled migrants out of El Salvador.

Both mayors had prior run-ins with the law. Ramírez Ventura reportedly paid over $90,000 in fines after the Attorney General's Office accused him of environmental crimes in 2016. He was cleared of the charges two years later.

Meanwhile, Machuca Díaz was arrested in 2018 on suspicion of paying $2,500 to an MS13 street gang cell to support his candidacy for mayor.

InSight Crime Analysis

Given the history of El Salvador's mayors being tied to criminals, it was never going to be a stretch for them to move into human smuggling – an illegal service increasingly in demand.

As Washington has long pressed El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras to stem the flow of migrants to the US border, the business of smuggling migrants has only become more lucrative.

During field investigations to El Salvador's border regions, InSight Crime researchers found human smuggling to be highly profitable, possibly bringing in tens of millions of dollars.

With their power and access to privileged information from border officials and local authorities, mayors can easily profit from people-smuggling rings – and have done so in the past.

In 2020, Lucio Edwin Ayala Flores, the former mayor of San Antonio de La Cruz, in northern El Salvador, was sentenced to 45 years in jail for human smuggling and drug trafficking. In 2017, a mayor in the southern La Paz department received four years in prison for smuggling a migrant to the United States.

Earlier this year, an investigation revealing that researchers were grafting the scalps of aborted babies onto mice to create “humanized mice” was released; in May, David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress went on Tucker Carlson Tonight to discuss the grotesque research being done on aborted babies by the University of Pittsburgh with funding from Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

This week, new details are emerging. Even Donald Trump, Jr. tweeted a stunned reaction: “This is sick, twisted and evil. I don’t care if you’re pro-choice or pro-life, if you’re okay with torturing an unborn baby like this, then you need to seek help immediately. Everyone involved should be behind bars.”

We have known about the experiments at the University of Pittsburgh for some time. What we are just finding out is that researchers harvested organs from aborted babies who were still alive.

FOX News is now reporting on the fact that the university received millions of federal dollars for the tissue bank that harvested “heart, gonads, legs, brain” from aborted babies. In an attempt to defend their research, the University of Pittsburgh confessed that when they referred to “ischemia time” in their grant application to the National Institutes of Health “refers to the time after the tissue collection procedure.”

According to the Center for Medical Progress: “Ischemia starts when the organ (the kidneys primarily in Pitt’s GUDMAP project) is cut off from blood circulation. The NIH defines ischemia as ‘lack of blood supply to a part of the body.’ The University states the fetal organs do not undergo ischemia—lose their blood supply—until ‘after the tissue collection procedure’. This means the organs are still receiving blood supply from the fetal heartbeat during the ‘tissue collection.’”

David Daleiden responded to the news by releasing a statement: “Pitt is now admitting to news media that the aborted babies are still alive at the time their kidneys are cut out for NIH grant money. Pitt’s grant application for GUDMAP advertised this to the federal government and that labor induction abortions, where the baby is pushed out of the mother whole, would be ‘used to obtain the tissue.’ The plain meaning of the GUDMAP grant application, and the University of Pittsburgh’s statement today explaining it, is that Pitt and the Planned Parenthood abortion providers responsible for its ‘research’ abortions are allowing babies, some of the age of viability, to be delivered alive, and then killing them by cutting their kidneys out.”

Stunning! New Floyd Case Exhibit Confirms Witness Coercion

On July 29, District Court Judge Peter Cahill, the presiding judge in the trials of the four Minneapolis police officers indicted for the death of George Floyd, ordered the release of an exhibit memorandum that reveals a miscarriage of justice and criminal coercion of a witness.

Dr. Roger Mitchell, the former deputy mayor and medical examiner of the District of Columbia and now the Chief of Pathology at Howard University Medical School, a traditional Black medical school, boldly intimidated and coerced Hennepin County Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker into changing critical conclusory language in his autopsy report on the death of George Floyd.

The exhibit is a written summary of Mitchell’s commentary and some admissions of coercion that he volunteered to Minnesota Attorney General Office prosecutors in November 2020. Mitchell’s perfidious conduct is discussed in this excellent article by Jack Cashill.

Dr. Andrew Baker, an experienced and well-regarded Chief Medical Examiner for Hennepin County, conducted an autopsy on Mr. Floyd on May 26, 2020, the day after his death, and reported later that day, “The autopsy revealed no physical evidence suggesting that Mr. Floyd died of asphyxiation or that excessive force was used in the restraint performed by the officers led by Officer Chauvin.

Three days later, on Friday, May 29, prosecutors elaborated on the cause of death in posting their initial complaint against Derek Chauvin. According to the complaint, “The full report of the [medical examiner] is pending but the [medical examiner] has made the following preliminary findings. The autopsy revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.”

The autopsy did show, however, that Floyd had severe heart disease, coronary artery disease, and an enlarged heart from high blood pressure. These conditions put Mr. Floyd at risk for sudden death from cardiac arrhythmia – an abnormal ineffective lethal heartbeat.

Before you proceed, think about that: Baker’s initial clean impression, without corrupting pressures, was that Derek Chauvin and his fellow officers were in no way responsible for George Floyd’s death.

Without a diagnosis of asphyxia, the State could not prosecute the officers for murder. That is why Dr. Roger Mitchell was so critical in this tale of intimidation – and why this exhibit memorandum is so important. It reveals a naked attempt by Roger Mitchell to bully Dr. Baker into a conclusion that would enable a second-degree murder prosecution of the police officers.

Don’t take my word for it. Here is how the Minnesota prosecutors summarized their meeting with Dr. Mitchell in the memorandum:

When the preliminary result came out via the criminal complaint, Mitchell found the statement was bizarre. Mitchell was reading and said this is not right. So Mitchell called Baker and said first of all Baker should fire his public information officer. Then Mitchell asked what happened, because Mitchell didn’t think it sounded like Baker’s words. Baker said that he didn’t think the neck compression played a part and that he didn’t find petechiae. Mitchell said but you know you cannot have petechiae and still have asphyxia and can still have neck compression.

This phone call likely took place on Friday, May 29. Mitchell had a restless weekend as he drafted an op-ed for the Washington Post. His next step was pure intimidation:

Mitchell was expecting to send the op-ed to the Washington Post on Monday afternoon so Mitchell called Baker first to let him know that he was going to be critical of Baker’s findings. In this conversation, Mitchell said, you don’t want to be the medical examiner who tells everyone they didn’t see what they saw. You don’t want to be the smartest person in the room and be wrong.

The Cashill article cited above explains how Baker appears to have yielded to the pressure. In his second call to Baker, Mitchell insisted “neck compression has to be in the diagnosis,” and Baker ultimately added “neck compression.” Without that addition, Chauvin could not have been charged with murder.

Guatemala: Global collaborative investigation nets suspected child sexual abuser

Zacapa, Guatemala: A suspected prolific child sexual abuser has been arrested by Guatemalan law enforcement in a police operation supported by INTERPOL.

In an investigation that began in February 2017, specialized law enforcement officers from around the world worked together through INTERPOL’s International Child Sexual Exploitation (ICSE) database to identify eight child victims – aged approximately between seven and 17 years old – of a 45-year old offender operating on the dark web.

INTERPOL’s crimes against children unit supported the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office against Human Trafficking – part of Guatemala’s Public Prosecutor’s Office (Ministerio Público) to identify and locate the offender, a Guatemalan man taken into custody on 27 July.

The suspect has been charged with multiple offences, including human trafficking; production, distribution and possession of child sexual exploitation material; sexual exploitation in the context of travel and tourism; and drug possession.

National investigators from Australia, Brazil, France and Switzerland cooperated with INTERPOL over years to comb through the substantial amount of child sexual abuse materials produced by this single offender over a 10-year period and piece together his identity as well as those of his victims.

“The cross-border nature of the Internet invariably makes the crime of online child sexual exploitation an international one,” said Stephen Kavanagh, INTERPOL’s Executive Director of Police Services. “International police cooperation and information-sharing throughout all stages of an investigation is crucial to protecting children and holding perpetrators to account.”

Over 26,000 victims identified

INTERPOL’s ICSE database uses image and video comparison software to help investigators worldwide in the daunting task of identifying the victims, abusers and places that appear in such materials.

The database avoids duplication of effort and saves precious time by letting investigators know whether a series of images has already been discovered or identified in another country, or whether it has similar features to other images. It also allows specialized investigators from more than 66 countries to exchange information with their colleagues across the world.

To date, the ICSE database has allowed investigators to identify over 26,000 victims around the world, as well as nearly 12,000 offenders.

Four men tried to meet teens for sex in police sting, officials say

EUGENE, Ore. – A police sting led to the arrests of four Springfield men officers say tried to meet teenage girls for sex.

Eugene police say the arrests were made between July 21 and Aug. 5, and in each of the cases, the suspects initiated contact with the teens without any solicitation from the undercover detectives.

“This is a sobering reminder of the ongoing online threats to our most vulnerable,” said Cpt. Shawn Adams. “In three of these incidents the suspects arrived to meet juvenile females with methamphetamine presumably to provide to the minors. It is a good reminder for parents to monitor their children’s online activity and engage in discussions regarding online safety.”

On July 21, police arrested Gary Minton, 56, at about 8 p.m. after he arrived to the location where he allegedly agreed to meet a girl for sex. The girl was actually a detective with the Eugene Police Department. He reportedly arrived to the site on a bicycle and was in possession of meth.

The next day, police arrested Jason Madden, 43, when he arrived to the meet-up location just before 2:30 p.m., authorities said. He had meth and other drugs with him, which he had promised to provide to the girl, according to police. Madden was on parole at the time of his arrest.

Michael Winfrey, 40, was arrested on July 30 after agreeing to meet with the teen for sex, police said. He was also in possession of meth, police say.

Lastly, on Aug. 5 at about 2:30 p.m., Richard Chamberlain, 61, was also arrested after agreeing to meet the “teen,” police say. He has a prior history out of another state, authorities said.

All four of the men were taken to the Lane County Jail on a charge of first-degree sexual corruption of a child.

Police say El Paso man had over 1,000 images of infant sex assaults

EL PASO, Texas — An El Paso man is jailed after police said they found "over 1,000 images of children and infants being sexually assaulted" during a search of his central city home.

28–year-old Oscar Eduardo Montes Carbajal was being held on $125,000 bond at the El Paso County Detention Facility downtown, charged with five counts of possession of child pornography.

El Paso police and Homeland Security investigators said his arrest came after they raided his home at 2226 Arizona Avenue last month and discovered the images on electronic storage devices.

Police also arrested a second man, 39–year-old Raul Moctezuma, for allegedly tampering with evidence by trying to wipe clear additional storage devices when officers executed the search warrant.

Moctezuma was released by a jail magistrate on a personal recognizance bond, meaning he didn't have to post cash bail; no mugshot for him was available.

The arrests of the two men came as part of a joint child pornography investigation by federal and local authorities.

WISCONSIN: Rep. Janel Brandtjen Issues Subpoenas to Audit 2 Counties

Wisconsin’s Election Committee Chairman Janelle Brandtjen issued subpoenas this morning to Brown and Milwaukee Counties.

On Monday, The Gateway Pundit reported that in the next week or two, we can expect Wisconsin to finally get the ball rolling on an election audit.

Today, OANN’s Political Correspondent Christina Bobb reported big news out of Madison, Wisconsin.

I just received confirmation just a few minutes ago that as you mentioned, chairman of the election committee here in the assembly in Wisconsin Janel Brandtjen has issued subpoenas this morning to both Brown County and Milwaukee County. Milwaukee County is obviously where Milwaukee is in Brown County is Green Bay, and she’s heard from many of her constituents and many people around Wisconsin saying that they want an audit and they want to see what’s happening in their elections here in Wisconsin and they just want to take a look and see what happened and so she issued those subpoenas, so it looks like we will see an audit. This is the same approach that Arizona took to subpoena the counties and ask them to turn over the information, and that happened this morning.

Well quite appropriately there is a rally to audit the vote here at the capitol in Wisconsin, we certainly came here to cover the rally and found out that the subpoenas were issued, so maybe it’s fitting maybe the rallies are working, I’m not sure but we will see here in a couple of hours. There are supposed to be a couple of hundred People gathering to ask the assembly and ask the Senate here in Wisconsin to actually take a closer look at the vote. so to Janel Brandtjen will be able to speak and say we delivered the subpoenas this morning we are taking a closer look, I expect to hear from former Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke on some of the initiatives that he and his organization are taking and I understand that there’s a handful of other speakers that are coming out already. There’s people out front, starting to gather to get excited and really just to champion the cause of election audits election integrity, and really most importantly election transparency, they want to know what transpired. So that’s going to be taking place here at the Capitol local time from noon to 1:30.

"No": Biden Admin Has 'No Concern' Over 'Emotional, Academic And Psychological Effects' Of Forcing Kids To Wear Masks

On Friday, Biden spox Jen Psaki said that the administration is not taking into account the "emotional, academic, and psychological effects" of forcing school children to wear masks at school.

Fox News' White House correspondent Peter Doocy first asked Psaki what she thought of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' (R) threat to withhold funds from school districts that don't let parents opt out of masking requirements, to which Psaki said she wants 'public health officials to make decisions about how to keep my kids safe,' adding that DeSantis is 'fundraising off of this.'

"Our view as an administration that parents in Florida, parents across the country, should have the ability and the knowledge that their kids are going to school and they're in safe environments…"

To which Doocy replied: "He [DeSantis] said that his concern is about harmful emotional, academic and psychological effects of putting kindergartners in masks for hours at a time. Is there any concern from officials that you guys talk to in your early pre-decisional discussions about that.

"No, there's not. And I'll tell you from personal experience, my rising kindergartner told me two days ago, she could wear a mask all day - and she's just happy to go to camp, and go to school."
