Mitch McConnell is reportedly deeply concerned about a Georgia Senate bid from football star and longtime Trump pal Herschel Walker, fearing Walker’s potential campaign would fizzle and hand the seat over to Democrats for six years.

The Senate minority leader has stepped in to help Republicans find a suitable candidate for the 2022 election, when Senator Raphael Warnock will have to fend off challengers in what’s expected to be a heated race for his first full six-year term.

Warnock took office in 2021 after narrowly beating Republican Kelly Loeffler in a special election runoff.

McConnell is said to be considering Loeffler along with David Perdue, per CNN. The former Georgia Republican senator lost his seat to Democrat Jon Ossoff – who won’t have to defend himself until 2026 if he chooses to run again.

Herschel Walker is a conservative favorite and leads Marxist Senator Raphael Warnock in the 2022 race and hasn’t even announced his candidacy yet.

Hoover PD arrest man in child sex abuse case

HOOVER, Ala. (WBRC) - Hoover Police arrested a man after investigating a report of sex abuse involving a child.

The investigation began after a minor came forward and disclosed that they had been sexually abused by their relative, 42-year-old Jason Matthew Baunach.

Hoover Detectives learned Baunach is required to register as a sex offender due to a 2019 conviction in Kentucky of Sexual Abuse 1st degree. After determining he had been violating the conditions of the Alabama Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification Act, Baunach was arrested on July 29.

An additional warrant for Sexual Abuse of a Child Less than 12 was issued by the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office on August 8.

Baunach is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on bonds totaling $150,000.

Florida Will Give Vouchers To Parents, Let Them Send Kids To Private Schools If They Oppose Public School Mask Mandates

Parents can now redirect their tax dollars to private schools if local school districts demand their children wear face masks

The Florida Board of Education determined today that it will provide private school vouchers to parents of students who believe face mask requirements amount to undue “harassment” of children.

Many schools in the United States are still requiring face masks to be worn by students, with only rare breaks, despite science suggesting that children not only are highly unlikely to contract COVID and experience serious symptoms, but that they are also highly unlikely to transmit COVID to adults. Parents in Florida, which has become a symbol of resistance to unscientific COVID-19 policies, will now have the option to take their tax dollars to the private sector with a new voucher program that will allow children to attend private schools that do not require face masks.

According to the Associated Press, the move will take taxpayer dollars earmarked for public schools and instead spend them in private schools. Teachers and unions have, predictably, used this to create “yet another flashpoint in the fight between local school boards and” Gov. Ron DeSantis. However, it appears that this move merely incentivizes schools to drop unscientific mask mandates.

The Board of Education rule “has the effect of law,” said board member Ben Gibson. He added, “If a parent wants their child to wear a mask at school, they should have that right. If a parent doesn’t want their child to wear a mask at school, they should have that right.”

So far only two Florida school districts have opted to follow the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that will require students to wear masks. The decision, however, prompted a lawsuit from over a dozen parents of disabled children who say that their children are physically incapable of wearing masks, and thus will be subject to discrimination from the public school system.

Last week, DeSantis signed an executive order that appeared to ban face masks in schools, calling the CDC’s recommendation a “callous disregard for the physical, emotional, and academic well-being of our children.” He added that masks “may lead to negative health and societal ramifications,” and could also “inhibit breathing, lead to the collection of dangerous impurities and adversely affect communications in the classroom and student performance.”

Google Founder Larry Page Obtains New Zealand Residency Right, Stoking Controversy

Google co-founder and billionaire Larry Page has obtained the right to live in New Zealand and also gained entry to the country in the midst of CCP virus border restrictions, officials confirmed on Friday, raising questions whether extremely wealthy people can essentially buy access to the country.

The 48-year-old internet entrepreneur, who promised to invest millions of dollars in the South Pacific country, applied for residency in New Zealand last year under a special visa open to people with at least 10 million New Zealand dollars ($7 million) to invest, Immigration New Zealand (INZ) said.

“As he was offshore at the time, his application was not able to be processed because of COVID-19 restrictions,” the agency said in a statement. “Once Mr. Page entered New Zealand, his application was able to be processed and it was approved on 4 February 2021.”

The confirmation also came as news broke earlier this week that Page visited the country earlier this year after his son fell ill in Fiji and required medical treatment at an Auckland hospital, according to local news outlet Stuff.

Page, who is the sixth-richest person in the world with a net worth of reportedly $115 billion, filed an urgent application in January for his child to be evacuated from the South Pacific country due to a medical emergency.

“The day after the application was received, a New Zealand air ambulance staffed by a New Zealand ICU nurse-escort Medevaced the child and an adult family member from Fiji to New Zealand,” Health Minister Andrew Little said.

The handling of the billionaire’s entry into the country has since stoked a debate over special immigration privileges, with some lawmakers questioning why Page’s request was approved so quickly at a time when borders to non-residents were shut down in an attempt to stop the spread of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, along with other questions, like separated family members who pleaded the government to enter the country but got turned away.

“The government is sending a message that money is more important than doctors, fruit pickers, and families who are separated from their children,” ACT deputy leader Brooke van Velden said in a statement.

Little responded to lawmakers that the family had abided by applicable pandemic protocols when they arrived, noting that his residency was approved about three weeks after his arrival.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern told reporters after being questioned over Page’s entry that it was not decided by politicians, but by clinical staff, adding that she was not briefed on the billionaire’s stay, Stuff reported.

Unearthed Paper Shows Biden-Linked Group Demanding ‘Robust’ Audits & Admitting Machines Are Hackable Even Without Internet Access.

Before pillow magnate Mike Lindell burst onto the political scene with his election audit mantra, the idea was popularized by a powerful left-wing think tank. A 2017 policy paper reveals the Center for American Progress stood foursquare behind the idea of “robust election audits,” The National Pulse can today reveal.

The 21-page document entitled “9 Solutions to Secure America’s Elections” was written by Danielle Root and Liz Kennedy and published on August 16, 2017.

At the time, the political left was attempting to convince Americans that Donald Trump was an illegitimate president, and that Russian election interference had swayed the 2016 election process. To this day, losing candidate Hillary Clinton insists the election was “stolen” from her.

Fast forward four years, and the corporate media alongside Democrats scream in one voice that election audits are not necessary, and are in fact an “attack” on “democracy.”

But their 2017 sentiments beg to differ.

The Machines.

“The legitimacy of self-government rests on the consent of the governed. In our democratic republic, that consent is manifested through the administration of free and fair elections,” the report begins, before going on the hash out many of the debunked Russian-collusion conspiracy theories that dominated the Trump presidency.

But the report goes on to assert a number of things that, now asserted by the Trump Right, are called “dangerous disinformation.”

The first point concerns voting machines such as those deployed by Dominion Voting Systems, specifically addressing the current corporate media canard about the machines not being connected to the internet. Emphasis added:

“Voting machines that record votes and tally them are run on software that is vulnerable to cyberintrusions. Well-resourced hackers, whether funded by foreign governments or criminal syndicates, have the access, ability, and motivation to infect computerized voting machines and tallying systems across America. This can occur even if the machines are not connected to the internet. Attackers, for example, can deploy software such as Stuxnet and Brutal Kangaroo to target offline voting machines.”

Interim Operational Considerations for Implementing the Shielding Approach to Prevent COVID-19 Infections in Humanitarian Settings

This document presents considerations from the perspective of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) for implementing the shielding approach in humanitarian settings as outlined in guidance documents focused on camps, displaced populations and low-resource settings.1,2 This approach has never been documented and has raised questions and concerns among humanitarian partners who support response activities in these settings. The purpose of this document is to highlight potential implementation challenges of the shielding approach from CDC’s perspective and guide thinking around implementation in the absence of empirical data. Considerations are based on current evidence known about the transmission and severity of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and may need to be revised as more information becomes available. Please check the CDC website periodically for updates.

What is the Shielding Approach1?

The shielding approach aims to reduce the number of severe COVID-19 cases by limiting contact between individuals at higher risk of developing severe disease (“high-risk”) and the general population (“low-risk”). High-risk individuals would be temporarily relocated to safe or “green zones” established at the household, neighborhood, camp/sector or community level depending on the context and setting.1,2 They would have minimal contact with family members and other low-risk residents.

Current evidence indicates that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19.3 In most humanitarian settings, older population groups make up a small percentage of the total population.4,5 For this reason, the shielding approach suggests physically separating high-risk individuals from the general population to prioritize the use of the limited available resources and avoid implementing long-term containment measures among the general population.

In theory, shielding may serve its objective to protect high-risk populations from disease and death. However, implementation of the approach necessitates strict adherence1,6,7, to protocol. Inadvertent introduction of the virus into a green zone may result in rapid transmission among the most vulnerable populations the approach is trying to protect.

Wuhan's 'Bat Lady' Warns Of Coming Covid-19 Mutants

Of all the people on the planet who should probably take a pass on weighing in over the future of Covid-19, the woman suspected of either creating it and/or releasing it is probably at the top of the list.

Yet, that's what just happened.

According to Chinese state media cited by the South China Morning Post, top CCP virologist Shi Zhengli of the Wuhan Institute of Virology - also known as "Bat Lady" - says the virus will continue to mutate, and we must prepare to coexist with it.

"As the number of infected cases has just become too big, this allowed the novel coronavirus more opportunities to mutate and select. New variants will continue to emerge," said Shi, whose lab was working with a US-Funded nonprofit to make bat coronaviruses more infectious to humans.

Fear porn or legitimate concern?

Aside from the obvious value in having 'Wuhan's Bat Lady™' opine on emerging strains of the virus she's an expert in - note that she doesn't discuss how much more or less deadly new strains could be.

For example, there's no evidence that the Delta strain - while much more virulent than the original Alpha strain of Covid-19, is any deadlier.

"There's no evidence that it's more deadly," said Dr. Larry Corey, who is coordinating all of the COVID-19 vaccine research in the U.S (via King5). "There is evidence that it's more infectious and more infectious to others, i.e., more transmissible. But [is it] actually more severe? There's really not good hard evidence of that."

"Becoming more transmissible and less lethal are absolutely what’s best for the pathogen," said Troy Day, a professor of mathematics and biology at Queen's University in Canada, who has studied how infectious diseases - including coronaviruses - evolve (via AP).

Lake Oroville Hydro Power Plant Shut Down For First Time Due To Megadrought

One of California's most important hydroelectric plants has ceased operations due to falling water levels, according to the Department of Water Resources (DWR).

On Wednesday, Lake Oroville fell to a record low of 642-feet above mean sea level. By Thursday, the lake stood at 641-feet above mean sea level. Readers may recall in mid-June, we said if the "640 feet is breached, then officials will likely be forced to close the Edward Hyatt Power Plant for the first time since it opened in 1967."

Shutting down the plant is a move to conserve as much water in Lake Oroville as possible. Water in the lake is pumped into an adjacent hydroelectric energy facility known as the Hyatt power plant, which can power 800,000 homes when operational.

"DWR State Water Project operations managers have taken the Hyatt Powerplant at Lake Oroville offline due to falling lake levels. This is the first time Hyatt Powerplant has gone offline as a result of low lake levels. However, DWR anticipated this moment, and the state has planned for its loss in both water and grid management. We have been in regular communication about the status of Hyatt Powerplant with the California Independent Service Operator (CAISO) and the California Energy Commission and steps have been taken in anticipation of the loss of power generation.

"This is just one of many unprecedented impacts we are experiencing in California as a result of our climate-induced drought. California and much of the western part of the United States are experiencing the impacts of accelerated climate change including record-low reservoir levels due to dramatically reduced runoff this spring.

"DWR will continue to focus on reservoir operations and water storage management at Lake Oroville to preserve as much water in storage as possible. But let me tell you, that event registration was there at 7:00 a.m. MST Thursday. And I wrote this script at 12:00 p.m. the same day.

And all that is to say that apparently, their time-wasting event isn't going forward. They just don't want the people who are paying for it — you and I — to know anything about their little afternoon drag show delight.

City Officials Colluded To Cancel Matt Gaetz & MTG Rally, Celebrated Bullying Private Venue — Documents Included

Several weeks ago, Congressman Matt Gaetz and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene were in the state of California hosting several rallies across the state as part of their “America First” tour across America.

After far-left activists were able to pressure the town of Riverside from allowing one of those rallies to occur within city limits, the duo announced that they had found a place to host their rally in the City of Anaheim. Like before, far-left activists went into full panic mode on social media and urged their cohorts to conduct another online pressure campaign, this time targeting Anaheim city officials and members of the Anaheim City Council.

Public records obtained by this journalist, shared publicly for the first time as an exclusive for TGP, show just how demented the Democrat party has become in 2021.

Close to a dozen individuals in total petitioned the City of Anaheim to take action against the America First rally, claiming that hate speech was not constitutionally protected (which it is, but we all know that being America First is now hate speech). Only a handful of those emails calling for the City of Anaheim to take action were from actual residents, including a former public official who was booted from an appointed post several years ago after appearing at an open-borders rally alongside members of the domestic terrorist organization Antifa.

These records also show Councilmember Jose Moreno emailing his fellow elected officials to consider a review of the private venues conditional use permit as a means of shutting down the event if the owners refused to cave to public pressure, claiming that the rally would have a high likelihood of violence. However, a review of livestreams of the dozens of America First rallies held by Gaetz and MTG so far do not contain evidence to support those claims. Furthermore, it is a known fact that any violence that occurs at pro-Trump gatherings comes from domestic terrorist groups like Antifa and BLM.

Morero also suggested a strong statement of opposition to the event occuring in the City of Anaheim be disseminated. And they did just that, as you can see in the tweets from the City of Anaheim. This means that the Anaheim City Council plotted internally to coerce a private venue to cancel an event, either through veiled threats about the standing of their current permitting or public pressure via official statements released to the public.
