Modern day Jews consider the priest class to be the
Cohen / Cohenim
"Levis" are sort of the 2nd tier priest class
for me, the analogy works well as Deep State…? maybe? Not that the Cohen's are eletec by any stretch.
As a reference point, the guys that do the little spock move with the hand have to be a Cohen; and I'm not sure, but maybe Levis' can as well.
The little spock thing is a blessing over the congregation….naturally in ancient times, the priest class received "your" sacrifice i.e. ate your livestock you gave up and sacrificed to the Lord -ergo, they ate well and you busted your ass and hoped for rain.
