I work at a hospital in Houston. The administration is in full freakout mode exactly like the 1st go-around. They're renting a shit ton of equipment proactively to the impending doom. The census of inpatients is below normal and they're cutting back on non-essential surgical procedures.
They learned nothing from that 1st go-around.

When it all started, they rented several vents and were prepped to use anesthesia machines with an anesthesiologist present to monitor the patient when in use. It never got to that point however.
Since, they've purchased more vents. I'm sure there will be rental vents this upcoming week.
