Thousands protest across France over Macron’s Covid-19 health pass & mandatory vaccination

Thousands of people have flooded the streets of French cities, protesting against the implementation of a mandatory Covid-19 health pass for the general public, as well as compulsory vaccination for certain categories of people.

Mass protests kicked off in several French cities on Saturday, with thousands condemning government plans to toughen anti-coronavirus restrictions.

A huge march was held in Paris, where participants were accompanied by a massive police presence, live footage from RT’s video agency Ruptly shows.

The protest has taken place without any major incident so far, with police and marchers only engaging in minor pushing along the route. At one point, law enforcement could be seen pepper-spraying protesters who tried to push against the police line.

Large protests have also been staged in other cities across the country. A massive column of protesters marched through the streets of the southwestern coastal city of La Rochelle to condemn the plans for a health pass.

Another massive protest was held at the northern French city of Lille, with footage from the scene showing the city center flooded with a sea of disgruntled demonstrators.

Some 200,000 protesters were expected to hit the streets of French cities, according to local media reports, citing police sources. So far, French law enforcement has not released any official estimates on the scale of the ongoing protests.

The latest round of protests, which have rocked the country for the past few weeks, comes after France’s top court deemed most of the controversial legislation package to be constitutional. The legislation, approved by the court on Thursday, is expected to come into force on Monday.

The court shot down several provisions, but greenlit the most controversial ones, including the implementation of mandatory health passes for the general public, which will be required to visit most public venues. The legislation also implements mandatory coronavirus vaccination for frontline healthcare workers and some other categories of French citizens.

While critics of the legislation have accused the government of trampling on civil rights and even sliding towards a “dictatorship,” the authorities have insisted that the package is designed only to encourage vaccination.

Bank of America Calls CBDCs ‘More Effective’ Than Cash in Research Note

The second largest U.S. bank said that the rise of CBDCs was "inevitable."

Bank of America (BofA) called central bank digital currencies “a much more effective payment system than cash,” in a research paper published Wednesday.

The Charlotte, N.C.-based bank, the second largest in the U.S. by total assets, said that CBDCs could “replace cash completely in the (distant) future.”

The report comes amid surging interest among central banks. A May report by the blockchain infrastructure platform Bison Trails found that about 80% of central banks are exploring use cases involving CBDCs, with 40% already testing proof-of-concept programs.

Bank of America said that CBDC adoption was “inevitable,” citing a declining role for cash, the private sector’s increasing use of blockchain technology, loss of control over currency and CBDCs’ potential to boost the economy. It also noted that central banks that did not launch their own digital currencies could see decreasing demand for their currencies, “substantially in some cases,” and a smaller “global role.”

Addressing concerns that a CBDC could compete with bank deposits, spur bank runs and compromise individual security, the paper highlighted central banks’ “very cautious approach.”

The paper said that CBDCs qualified as money “by allowing store of value and being a unit of account and means of exchange,” differentiating them from cryptocurrencies that “do not meet these criteria. “Since they are traded, they could be seen as an asset class,” the paper said.

Bank of America said that CBDCs could lessen the need for stablecoins, noting that the latter could “present a material financial stability risk during times of market stress when there may be a crypto to fiat currency run.”

In recent months, Bank of America has ratcheted up its own commitment to provide more cryptocurrency services and explore crypto’s potential.

The bank has created a team dedicated to researching cryptocurrencies and related technologies, according to a memo reviewed by CoinDesk earlier this month. Separately, it has also approved the trading of bitcoin (BTC, +0.99%) (BTC, +0.63%) futures for some clients, and its prime brokerage unit has started the clearing and settlement of cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETPs) for hedge funds in Europe.

UK Transport Minister Says Vaccines Will Be Needed For Travel "Forevermore"

UK transport minister Grant Shapps says that countries will demand full vaccination “forevermore” and that young people “won’t be able to leave the country” without being double jabbed.

Shapps made the comments during an appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Today show.

“I think double vaccination, full vaccination, is going to be a feature forevermore and most countries, probably all countries, will require full vaccination in order for you to enter,” said the minister.

“It’s important to understand that there are simply going to be things that you will not be able to do unless you’re double-vaccinated or have a medical reason not to be, including going abroad,” he added.

He then directly addressed people in their 20’s who were under the impression the virus doesn’t effect them by asserting:

“You won’t be able to leave the country” without the jab.

The comments were intended to combat vaccine hesitancy amongst young people, with figures showing fewer than 60% of 18- to 25-year-olds had received their first jab in England.

The UK is set to introduce vaccine passports in September that mandate proof of full vaccination before allowing people to enter venues such as nightclubs and concerts.

The option of providing a negative COVID test result instead will be removed despite the fact that fully vaccinated people can still spread the virus.

The government initially vowed to never introduce vaccine passports because they were “discriminatory,” but if the government is successful in doing so, expect the list of venues requiring them to rapidly expand.

However, some nightclubs have vowed to resist the measures, insisting that they are impossible to enforce and will eliminate profit margins, making staying in business unworkable.

As Sir Desmond Swayne recently warned, vaccine passports are merely a veil for the introduction of national identity cards.

“It is the Trojan Horse for an identity card system. Once you bring in requirements of this sort, they’re very, very difficult to remove,” Sir Desmond said.

Swedish Professor Says 5 Shots Of COVID Vaccine May Be Necessary

While many people have bragged about being “fully vaccinated” after taking two COVID-19 jabs, a Swedish professor says that as many as five shots may be needed to combat falling immunity.

“We don’t know how long the vaccine protects against serious illness and death,” said Karolinska Institute Professor Matti Sällberg.

“This means that you pick the safe before the unsafe.”

Numerous European countries are planning a 3rd round of COVID “booster shots” in September, and the FDA also indicated that vaccinated individuals will be given another shot in the fall.

However, Sällberg suggests this probably won’t be enough and that “recurring shots” will be necessary.

“After receiving the second dose, the immune response slowly subsides. Within a year, many may have lost their protection. We do not know yet, but if you get a third dose, it will be activated again,” he said.

“Biology says that a fading immune response is not unlikely. Then it’s time for a third, fourth, maybe fifth dose”.

One wonders whether Sällberg holds a conflict of interest given that he is also chairman of the board at vaccine company SVF.

Meanwhile, in Israel, a doctor warned that “the effectiveness of the vaccine is waning/fading out” and that “85-90% of the hospitalizations are in fully vaccinated people.”

Ben Shapiro called the January 6 prisoners “evil,” adding that they will “all end up rotting in prison as they should,” all while remaining utterly silent on the evidence that undercover federal law enforcement embedded within the pro-Trump crowd orchestrated, instigated, and participated in the breaching of the Capitol building that day.

Ben Shapiro, who previously advocated for the compulsory vaccination of American citizens, and has been “shadow-boosted” by Facebook, called the January 6 prisoners who are reportedly facing torture “evil,” adding that they will “all end up rotting in prison as they should” while debating Malcolm Nance on Bill Maher’s show.

Nance falsely accused President Donald Trump of organizing “40,000 people to lay siege to the Capitol” in order to “stop American democracy,” to which Shapiro retorted, noting that 40,000 people did not assault the Capitol. However, Shapiro added “that is not making light of the evil of those people, who all will end up rotting in prison as they should.”

Riggleman’s appointment to the committee comes after he was recently spotted leaving the office of Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Though at the time, Riggleman did not say that he had been offered a job, he did confirm to the media that he would accept a position with Pelosi’s committee if an offer was made.

Announcing his place on the committee in a video posted to Twitter, Riggleman wrote in the tweet that he is honored to “serve alongside those who represent the best of America,” and vowed that “we will see this mission through.”

Majority of Hospitalized COVID-19 Patients at Hospital in Israel Are Fully Vaccinated: Doctor

An Israeli doctor says that the majority of COVID-19 patients hospitalized at his hospital are fully vaccinated and those with severe illness have also been vaccinated.

Talking with Channel 13 TV News on August 5, Dr. Kobi Haviv, medical director of Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem said that “85 to 90 percent of the hospitalizations are in fully vaccinated people,” and “95 percent of the severe patients are vaccinated.” Herzog Hospital specializes in nursing care for the elderly.

Haviv said the rising cases of vaccinated people getting COVID-19, a disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus is because “the effectiveness of the vaccine is waning.”

Data from the Israeli Minister of Health in July suggested that the effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine in preventing infection and symptomatic illness had dropped from 90 percent to only 39 percent and 41 percent, respectively. However, the levels of protection against severe illness (88 percent) and hospitalization (91.4 percent) remained high.

The Pfizer vaccine has been the only COVID-19 vaccine available for Israelis since it was authorized for use in December 2020. However, the government announced last month that the Moderna vaccine would be offered in August to certain people while the Pfizer vaccine would be reserved for those under 18 years.

Pfizer did not respond to a request for comment by press time.

As of Friday, 5,392,509 million of the more than 9 million people have received a second dose of a messenger RNA vaccine, and 349,707 people have gotten their third booster shot, according to figures from the Health Ministry. The country recorded more than 3,000 positive COVID-19 cases, 261 with severe illness, and six deaths as of August 4.

People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second messenger RNA vaccine.

Amazon Issues Mask Mandate for All US Employees

Amazon. com Inc has ordered all U.S. employees to wear a mask at work regardless of their vaccination status, as the highly infectious Delta variant of COVID-19 sweeps the country.

Companies across the United States have tightened their defenses against the virus, after the Delta variant forced the U.S. public health agency to reverse course and insist on even fully vaccinated individuals wearing masks.

“We are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to follow local government guidance and work closely with leading medical healthcare professionals, gathering their advice and recommendations as we go forward to ensure our buildings are optimized for the safety of our teams,” an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement on Friday.

Last month, big techs including Alphabet Inc’s Google and Facebook Inc asked U.S. employees to get vaccinated to step into offices, while Twitter Inc said it was shutting its reopened offices in the country.

Amazon also extended its work-from-home dates for U.S. employees till Jan. 3.

Earlier this week, coronavirus cases worldwide surpassed 200 million while U.S. cases stood at 35.62 million on Thursday, according to a Reuters tally.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin tweeted that the federal government has released over 7,000 COVID-positive migrants into McAllen, TX.

Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez declared the local state of disaster on Monday.

According to the city of McAllen, since mid-February of 2021, there have been over 7,000 confirmed COVID-19 positive immigrants released into the City of McAllen by CBP, including over 1,500 new cases in the past seven days.

The Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley previously released a statement explaining that migrants were tested before entering the facility, negative cases were allowed in and positive cases were placed in other areas to avoid the continued spread of COVID-19.

McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos signed the Disaster Declaration on Monday night:

Cortez and three other South Texas county judges from Willacy, Cameron and Starr counties have held firm against issuing disaster declarations that coincide with Gov. Greg Abbott’s declaration. But Cortez said Monday’s declaration was necessary and these “extraordinary measures” were taken to help the county hopefully qualify for additional funding to help mitigate untold costs associated with the migrants.

On Monday evening, McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos, whose city is the largest in Hidalgo County, also issued a disaster declaration. The city’s declaration is due to the high numbers of migrants that the city is dealing with as the Department of Homeland Security releases hundreds of migrants per day in downtown McAllen to the care of the nonprofit Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley, which is operating out of a building owned by the city.

The county’s two-page declaration, which declares that “U.S. Customs and Border Protection is releasing an alarmingly substantial number of immigrants into the City of McAllen,” is different from the disaster proclamation issued by Abbott on May 31, 2021.

The city’s two-page declaration was similar in text and tone and also is valid for seven days at which time it will require a vote of the city commission to extend.

Editor For ‘Unbiased’ Facebook Fact Checker Tried To Bankrupt Conservative News Sites.

An editor for Lead Stories – a “fact-checking” outlet working for social media platforms including Facebook and TikTok – has attempted to coerce advertisers into dropping conservative media outlets as clients in social media posts unearthed by The National Pulse.

The unearthed posts on Twitter from Lead Stories Copy Editor Leslie Lapides follow the outlet’s founder and Editor-in-Chief Alan Duke repeatedly denying allegations of left-wing bias.

Contrary to Duke’s insistence, Lapides has tweeted at least four times in support of a Sleeping Giants campaign targeting advertisers listed on Breitbart News.

Sleeping Giants, which avows to “make bigotry and sexism less profitable,” is best known for seeking to bankrupt conservative news operations by bullying companies that purchased advertisements on their sites into dropping them. “The group does have a singular purpose, pursued as relentlessly as Ahab chasing a whale: It aims to drive advertisers away from Breitbart,” The Washington Post notes.

On February 5th, 2017, she shared four posts encouraging Instaflex, Medix Select, Snoring Solution, and the Association of Mature American Citizens to halt their advertisements running on Breitbart. “Hello, are you aware that your ad is running on Breitbart News? Would you consider removing it,” she wrote before tagging Sleeping Giants.

Moderna and Pfizer Intentionally Lost the Clinical Trial Control Group Testing Efficacy and Safety

Moderna and Pfizer somehow lost the clinical control group testing the safety and efficacy of their COVID vaccines.

The Conservative Treehouse reported:

This is not just scientific madness, it appears to be very intentional and purposeful.

The Moderna and Pfizer vaccine tests were conducted, as customary, with a control group; a group within the trial who were given a placebo and not the test vaccine. However, during the trial -and after the untested vaccines were given emergency use authorization- the vaccine companies conducting the trial decided to break protocol and notify the control group they were not vaccinated. Almost all the control group were then given the vaccine.

Purposefully dissolving the placebo group violates the scientific purpose to test whether the vaccine has any efficacy; any actual benefit and/or safety issues. Without a control group there is nothing to compare the vaccinated group against.

The Conservative Treehouse referenced a report from of all places, NPR.

“Dr. Carlos Fierro, who runs the study there, says every participant was called back after the Food and Drug Administration authorized the vaccine.

“During that visit we discussed the options, which included staying in the study without the vaccine,” he says, “and amazingly there were people — a couple of people — who chose that.”

He suspects those individuals got spooked by rumors about the vaccine. But everybody else who had the placebo shot went ahead and got the actual vaccine. So now Fierro has essentially no comparison group left for the ongoing study. “It’s a loss from a scientific standpoint, but given the circumstances I think it’s the right thing to do,” he says.

People signing up for these studies were not promised special treatment, but once the FDA authorized the vaccines, their developers decided to offer the shots. (read more)

Texas House Democrats claim they've been 'deprived of liberty' in lawsuit against Gov. Greg Abbott

Texas House Democrats who fled the state last month to block legislation from becoming law filed a lawsuit against top Texas Republicans late Friday, arguing they have been, among other things, "deprived of liberty."

The news comes after two Texas House Democrats who fled to Washington, D.C., were caught vacationing in Portugal.

What are the details?

Nearly two dozen Texas House Democrats, 22 in all, filed a lawsuit in federal court against Gov. Greg Abbott, House Speaker Dade Phelan (R), and State Rep. James White (R).

The lawsuit argues that Abbott, Phelan, and White are collectively depriving Texas House Democrats of their First Amendments rights to free speech and to petition the government for redress of grievances. The Democrats claim they have been "deprived of liberty for substantial periods of time, suffered much anxiety and distress over separation from their families, and much discomfort and embarrassment," the Texas Tribune reported.

The Democrats even claim they are being targeted because of their skin color, claim they are being harmed, and claim they have been the victims of "retaliatory attacks, threats and attempts at coercion relating to the exercise of their First Amendment rights."

However, as the Texas Tribune noted, the lawsuit provides no evidence of the lawmakers being targeted because of their race, provides no evidence of the alleged harm against them save for "public statements," and fails to provide evidence to corroborate the alleged "retaliatory attacks."

Abbott and Phelan have been urging the lawmakers to return to Texas and fulfill their oaths of office by participating in the legislative process they subverted. Abbott has said the lawmakers will be arrested once they return to Texas.

"Once they step back into the state of Texas, they will be arrested and brought to the Texas Capitol, and we will be conducting business," Abbott told Fox News last month.

According to Texas Tribune, White was not sure why the Democratic lawmakers included him in their lawsuit.

The lawsuit claims only $5 worth of actual damages and $10 of punitive damanges.

The lawsuit was filed one day after Abbott announced that another special legislative session would begin on Aug. 7.

"I will continue to call special session after special session to reform our broken bail system, uphold election integrity, and pass other important items that Texans demand and deserve. Passing these Special Session agenda items will chart a course towards a stronger and brighter future for the Lone Star State," Abbott said in a statement.

The Texas House Democrats have not yet returned from Washington, D.C., and it's not clear when they will return. But what is clear is that Abbott has promised to continually call special legislative sessions until the legislative items that Democrats blocked are passed.

In a statement, Texas House Democrats noted the new special legislative session does not have a quorum in the Texas House because the House Democrats remain in Washington, and suggested the lawmakers will remain in the nation's capital.

"Texas House Democrats continue in our fight to stop Texas Republicans' efforts to undermine our democracy by passing their anti-voter legislation," the statement said. "Day by day, we will keep fighting with everything we have to protect Texans' freedom to vote."

Lockdown Forever: Boris Johnson Drafts Plans for ‘Firebreak’ Winter Shutdown

A contingency plan for the implementation of “firebreak” lockdowns in the winter have been drawn up by the British government, despite earlier promises that the end of lockdowns in Britain would be “irreversible”.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has authorised the planning of short-term lockdown restrictions should the country’s socialised healthcare system, the National Health Service (NHS), become overwhelmed in the autumn or winter months.

Speaking to the i Newspaper, a senior government source said: “Should more lockdowns be necessary, the plan is for them to be short, and preferably during the school holidays in late October and over Christmas. Firebreaks rather than lasting for months at a time.

“Barring a new vaccine-beating strain, fears over a rise in infections similar to that seen last autumn are actually outweighed by other issues like an NHS staffing crisis and the likely resurgence in flu infections, and other respiratory diseases. On top of Covid infections, these factors could tip the NHS back to the brink and force more lockdowns.”

A government spokesman confirmed that it has put these plans in place, saying: “As a responsible Government, we have to be prepared to respond to unexpected events as the country learns to live with COVID-19.

“As part of our strategy to manage the virus, it is both right and sensible that we maintain contingency plans for reimposing restrictions at a local, regional or national level if evidence suggests they are necessary.

“As set out in guidance, we will continue to monitor the data on a regular basis to ensure there is no danger of the NHS facing unsustainable pressure.”

Mexican Politician Allegedly Behind Sinaloa Cartel’s Appearance in Border State Unmasked

The mayor of a rural city in the Mexican border state of Nuevo Leon is the alleged key political figure behind the arrival of Sinaloa Cartel enforcers. The cartel members arrived in the region recently in an apparent attempt to take control of drug trafficking routes and regional distribution.

In June, a cell of gunmen from the Sinaloa Cartel (CDS) surfaced in the rural city of Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon. Those gunmen clashed with authorities and strung banners announcing their arrival, Breitbart Texas reported exclusively. The rural city of Montemorelos is located just south of the Monterrey Metropolitan area.

According to the cartel banner and to information shared with Breitbart Texas by U.S. law enforcement sources operating in Mexico, the CDS cell is led by an unidentified commander known by the nicknames El Gato or Felino. Authorities in Mexico also seized weapons and tactical gear with patches and hats with Sinaloa Cartel insignias and logos.

The U.S. law enforcement sources revealed to Breitbart Texas that Montemorelos police officers and politicians drew their attention in late February after state authorities arrested three local cops in connection with charges related to extortions, drug distribution, and assault — including the use of a paddle to torture their victims. One of the victims who was tortured was a political rival of Mayor Luis Fernando “El Dragón” Garza Guerrero.

Intelligence information shared with Breitbart Texas by the U.S. law enforcement sources revealed that the politician who is known as El Dragón is connected to the Sinaloa Cartel through a local drug trafficker known as The Stripper. The nickname is not tied to any criminal activity but it is a catchy slogan that the politician has used throughout his career. The politician also had links with the late Dannes Elizondo, a convicted drug trafficker who lived in McAllen, Texas. Elizondo, a U.S. citizen, used to run large cocaine shipments from Nuevo Leon to Houston for various criminal organizations. He also reportedly had links with the Beltran Leyva Cartel and the Sinaloa Cartel. A group of unknown gunmen killed Elizondo in 2018 in the ritzy suburb of San Pedro, Nuevo Leon.

Monett man, Stockton woman among three arrested in Missouri sex trafficking investigation

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol announces three arrests in a sex trafficking investigation from earlier this week, including a Monett man and a Stockton woman.

Crimes range from sexual trafficking of a child, promoting child pornography and possession of child pornography, according the MSHP. Investigators announced the following arrests:

Anthony L. Arndt, 34, of Monett, Missouri

Lorrie Pace, 53, of Stockton, Missouri

Andrew M. Henry, 26, of Kansas City, Missouri

The arrests happened between August 4-5. Investigators say the arrests were not related, but each are the result of lengthy investigations conducted by MSHP investigation teams.

Anthony L. Arndt was arrested on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in Barry County. Investigators executed a search warrant at Arndt’s home on County Road, in Monett. While investigating, authorities seized child pornography and computer equipment.

The Barry County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has formally charged Arndt with one count of promoting child pornography and five counts of possession of child pornography. Arndt is being held at the Barry County Jail with a bond of $1 million.

Lorrie Pace was arrested on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in Cedar County. Investigators executed a search warrant at Pace’s residence on East 1658 Road in Stockton. While investigating, authorities seized child pornography and computer equipment.

The Cedar County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has formally charged Pace with one count of promoting child pornography and three counts of possession of child pornography. Pace was sent to the Cedar County Jail with a bond of $25,000.00.

Andrew M. Henry was arrested on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in Kansas City, Missouri. Investigators contacted Henry at his residence on Northeast Antioch Road in Kansas City. While investigating, authorities located child pornography on Henry’s cell phone.

Henry was arrested for sexual trafficking of a child, promoting child pornography, and possession of child pornography. He was sent to the Clay County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold, and MSHP is handling the investigation.

In 2021, the MSHP Digital Forensics Investigative Unit has executed 70 search warrants, made 16 arrests, and contacted seven live victims.

The Division of Drug and Crime Control encourages Internet users to promptly report to the Patrol or local law enforcement anyone who attempts to engage in unwanted, inappropriate, or sexualized communications with children.

Israeli Ambassador Says Israel Wants to See ‘Regime Change’ in Iran

The comments come as Israel is threatening to attack Iran

Israel’s Ambassador to the US and UN Gilad Erdan said Friday that Israel would ultimately like to see regime change in Iran.

“In the end, we would ultimately like to see [the government] overthrown and [for there to be] regime change,” Erdan told Israel’s Army Radio when asked about his government’s Iran policy.

It’s no secret Israel is hostile to the Iranian government, but Israeli officials have previously avoided such explicit calls for regime change. What Erdan said was interpreted by The Times of Israel as “one of the most far-reaching comments by an Israeli official in favor of regime change in Tehran.”

Erdan said he was working to rally the world against Iran. “We would like to see actions that are much more determined from the international community against Iran,’ he said. “We hope the international community will draw this conclusion as soon as possible because we need to put an end to this murderousness.”

Erdan’s comments come after a week of almost daily threats from Israeli officials that they might take military action against Iran over a deadly attack on the Mercer Street, an Israeli-linked ship that was hit by a drone last week. The attack killed two crew members; a British national and a Romanian.

Israel, the US, and now the G7 have all blamed Iran for the Mercer Street attack, but Tehran maintains its innocence. On Thursday, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said Israel was prepared to attack Iran and urged that other countries also take action. “We are at a point where we need to take military action against Iran. The world needs to take action against Iran now,” he said.

New video footage released by B'Tselem of the moment that Israeli soldiers opened fire on a Palestinian family’s car, killing their 11-year-old son, contradicts the army’s accounts of the events.

New video footage of the moment that Israeli soldiers opened fire on a Palestinian family’s car, killing their 11-year-old son, shows soldiers firing on the car as it was reversing, contradicting the army’s previous accounts of the events.

Last week Israeli forces shot and killed 11-year-old Mohammed al-Alami while he was in his father’s car with his two younger siblings, as the family were on their way home from grocery shopping in their town of Beit Ummar in the southern occupied West Bank.

At the time Israeli forces claimed that they attempted to stop the vehicle by firing warning shots in the air, and firing at the vehicle’s tires. The accounts of Mohammed’s father, and several eyewitnesses at the time contradicted the army’s statement, and said that the soldiers sprayed the car with bullets “out of nowhere,” and with no prior warning.

The new security camera footage, taken from two different angles near the al-Alami home where the shooting took place, seems to corroborate the account of the family and other eyewitnesses.

In the video footage published by B’Tselem, the car is seen approaching a street near the Israeli military outpost at Beit Ummar’s entrance. The street also leads to the entrance of the al-Alami family home.

The car is then seen slowing down, backing away, and turning around. This aligns with the account of al-Alami, who told Mondoweiss that as he was pulling onto his street, his son asked him to turn around to go back to the store so he could buy some sweets, to which he obliged.

As the car begins backing away, “for no apparent reason, soldiers standing by the post are seen running towards the car and opening a massive volley of fire at the passengers,” the B’Tselem report said.

Testimony from the family indicated that Mohammed was shot five times, and at least 13 bullets were fired at the car.

“The choice to open fire at the car, in the heart of a populated residential area, was unjustified, as none of the passengers posed a risk — to the soldiers or to any other person,” B’Tselem said.

B’Tselem noted that the army’s explanation that they fired at the car after suspecting it’s owners had buried a dead baby earlier in the day “has absolutely no bearing upon the shooting.”

“This heinous killing of an 11-year-old boy demonstrates, yet again, how low the value of Palestinians’ lives is in the eyes of the soldiers, their commanders and the policymakers – who are responsible for the military’s lethal open-fire policy,” B’Tselem said, adding that the army’s claims that an investigation has be launched is “merely a means of silencing criticism, and this kind of investigation is the first step towards whitewashing the incident.”

Mohammed al-Alami’s death marked the third Palestinian minor who had been killed by Israeli forces in the span of a week. He is the 11th Palestinian child to be killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank in 2021.

During al-Alami’s funeral, Israeli forces attacked the procession, sparking confrontations between armed forces and funeral-goers. During the confrontations, Israeli forces shot and killed another young man from Beit Ummar, 20-year-old Shawkat Awad.

In April 2020, The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) admitted two of their labs manufactured Covid-19 tests contaminated with the exact virus being tested, producing 100% false-positives and perhaps deliberate infection. In July 2020, Tanzanian President John Magufuli (Ph.D in chemistry) gave a speech to the nation reporting the World Health Organization (WHO) returned Covid-19 positive “tests” for a papaya, motor oil, a quail, and a goat (Magufuli died along with three other heads of state challenging WHO’s Covid-19 “testing;” all within 3 months and aged 52-61).

In July 2021, the CDC withdrew a Polymerase Chair Reaction (PCR) test because it cannot “facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses.” This was the 6th revision (page 52) of “test” instructions that have produced 90%+ false-positives.

The CDC also admitted the PCR test was designed without Covid-19 material because Covid-19 samples do not exist. CDC created the PCR test from known generic flu stock (page 40):

“Since no quantified virus isolates of the 2019-nCoV were available for CDC use at the time the test was developed and this study conducted, assays designed for detection of the 2019-nCoV RNA were tested with characterized stocks of in vitro transcribed full length RNA (N gene; GenBank accession: MN908947.2) of known titer (RNA copies/μL) spiked into a diluent consisting of a suspension of human A549 cells and viral transport medium (VTM) to mimic clinical specimen.”

US flu cases were reduced ~99% (and here, here) since Covid-19 “testing.”

Pubmed reports: “large-scale analysis from China suggests that 80% of those infected either are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms.” This is also the finding of the Indian government, with 69% completely asymptomatic. The University of Chicago’s published research concurs that 82% to 87% of “positive cases” are without symptoms and any recognition of illness.

This admittance of no official existence of Covid-19 occurs as Alberta Canada ended all Covid “health orders” restricting personal freedoms just after an Alberta court case factual discovery disclosed that Alberta health authorities also could not provide any evidence that Covid-19 existed in any scientifically-measurable way, but only in political speech (and here, here). Gemma O’Doherty, an investigative journalist in Ireland, reports the Irish government also cannot provide any evidence for the existence of a Covid-19 sample.

The CDC documented in “Certifying deaths due to Covid-19” (page 2):

“In cases where a definite diagnosis of COVID–19 cannot be made, but it is suspected or likely (e.g., the circumstances are compelling within a reasonable degree of certainty), it is acceptable to report COVID–19 on a death certificate as “probable” or “presumed.””

If we connect the above CDC’s instructions literally titled “Certifying deaths due to Covid-19” with the quote starting this article from the Director of Illinois Department of Public Health Dr. Ngozi Ezike stating official policy to conflate “dying with a positive Covid-19 ‘test’ result” and “dying from Covid-19,” We the People have reasonable doubt for actionable information from official sources. Conversely, Americans would have to be naive and/or gullible to believe such declared “experts” given the totality of official disinformation and propaganda just partially documented in this brief article (dozens more game-changing data points).

US Army to Keep 6 Sites in Europe, Nixing Transfer Plan

BERLIN — The U.S. Army in Europe and Africa said Friday it will retain six sites that were previously scheduled to be returned to Germany and Belgium amid growing demand for facilities on the continent.

A seventh site, in Germany, will be transferred to the Air Force, it said.

The sites were originally announced for closure in 2015 and, in one case, 2010. But the decision was reassessed as demand for facilities outgrew construction and renovation.

The sites being retained in Germany are the Barton Barracks, Ansbach; Pulaski Barracks, Kaiserslautern; Coleman Barracks, Mannheim; Weilimdorf Warehouse, Stuttgart and Amelia Earhart Center, Wiesbaden.

In Belgium, the Army is holding on to the Daumerie Barracks, it said.

The Husterhoeh Barracks in Pirmasens, Germany, will be handed to U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Africa.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered a months-long “global posture” review just days after taking office in January. That review is not done, and is expected to be finished in the fall.

The review will assess how the United States can best arrange and support its worldwide network of troops, weapons, bases and alliances to align with changing foreign policy and security threats.

The U.S. has made it clear that it views China not militant groups such as al-Qaida or the Islamic State group as the top national security challenge. And the posture review could involve additional movement of U.S. troops and assets to the Pacific region.

Other top commanders, however, have also argued that they face similar challenges from Iran, China and Russia on their continents – including Europe and Africa.

It wasn’t clear Friday how these latest moves by the Army in Europe will fit into that global review.

Michael Osterholm, the director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota and an adviser on President Joe Biden's transitional COVID-19 advisory board, made the stunning claim on CNN this week amid escalating worldwide fears and concerns over the "Delta variant" of COVID-19.

"We know today that many of the face cloth coverings that people wear are not very effective in reducing any of the virus movement in or out," Osterholm said during the interview.

"We need to talk about better masking," he said. "We need to talk about N-95 respirators, which would do a lot for both people who are not yet vaccinated or not previously infected."

Osterholm told Just the News he was unavailable for comment regarding his remarks.

The apparent admission comes after well over a year of public health officials insisting that cloth masks are among the most vital and lifesaving tools in the fight against SARS-Cov-2.

Osterholm himself acknowledged last year that the effectiveness of cloth masks was likely to be "limited," though he himself unequivocally affirmed his support for wearing them in public spaces.

Robert Cook, a professor of epidemiology and medicine at the University of South Florida, admitted that he was "not up to date with the latest, most specific data on cloth masks vs. other types of masks," but he argued that it "makes common sense to me that someone wearing a cloth mask would block larger respiratory particles and these in turn would block at least some of the smaller viral particles."

"I would be very surprised if they did 'little' to stop the amount of virus in the air around someone," he continued. "Even if they reduce the number of virus particles by 10%, it could have a significant impact at the community level compared to nothing."

Other health officials, meanwhile, have been emphatic about the alleged benefits of cloth masking.

National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins wrote last August that "even if a community universally adopted a crude cloth covering that's far less than 100 percent protective against the virus, this measure alone could significantly help to reduce deaths."

U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield, meanwhile, argued last July that "cloth face coverings are one of the most powerful weapons we have to slow and stop the spread of the virus."

A model developed by the University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, meanwhile, projected last July that wearing cloth masks could save as many as nearly 30,000 lives in less than three months.

Interior Department Confirms 35 Staffers Have Died of COVID-19

An Interior Department spokesperson has confirmed that 35 employees have, as of Friday, died from COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP virus.

After Interior Department Secretary Deb Haaland said in a video address taped earlier in the week that 34 staffers at the agency had died from COVID-19, the department’s communications director, Melissa Schwartz, wrote in a tweet Friday that one more person had died, bringing the tally to 35.

Schwartz, in her statement, also updated the number of agency employees who have, to date, contracted the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, bringing that number up to over 4,000 from Haaland’s earlier mention of around 3,900, though the secretary noted in her remarks that this figure was continuing to go up.

Haaland, in her address, expressed concern about the spread of the Delta variant, which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) considers more transmissible and potentially more resistant to vaccines.

“Though many people are vaccinated, our country still faces increased rates of COVID-19 infections and more aggressive variants,” Haaland said, adding that the Interior Department would be requiring its on-site staff and contractors to mask up, regardless of vaccination status.

“To help fight this devastating disease, we are following CDC guidance and putting our masks back on,” Haaland said.

The CDC recently updated its mask-wearing guidelines, recommending facial coverings for high-transmission areas for both vaccinated and unvaccinated people.

“Each state and community faces different threats, so if you are in an area with substantial to high COVID transmission rates, everyone—employees, contractors, and visitors—must wear a mask in all federal buildings no matter your vaccination status,” Haaland said.

Following the CDC’s move to a stricter posture on mask-wearing, a number of GOP governors came out in opposition, with Arizona’s Republican Gov. Doug Ducey saying that the CDC’s announcement would “only diminish confidence in the vaccine and create more challenges for public health officials.”

Haaland’s remarks about masking at the Interior Department follow new rules announced on July 29 by President Joe Biden, who said federal workers and contractors would have to show proof of vaccination or else wear masks, engage in social distancing, and submit to regular COVID-19 testing.

“Right now, too many people are dying or watching someone they love die and say if ‘I’d just got the vaccine,’” Biden said in the East Room of the White House. “This is an American tragedy. People are dying who don’t have to die.”

On Friday, White House COVID-19 Data Director Cyrus Shahpar said that, to date, half of the total population of the United States has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

"How Much Can You Afford?": Baltimore Professor Sentenced For Selling Math Grades

Prof. Edward C. Ennels taught math at Baltimore City Community College but appears to have been offering a running lesson on supply side economic theory. Ennels reportedly was selling grades on a sliding scale depending on your worth and your ambition: $150 for a C; $250 for a B; and $500 for an A. He has now earned jail time after pleading to 11 misdemeanor charges, including bribery and misconduct in office.

According to prosecutors, Ennels, 45, would go as low as $300 in this elastic grade market. Moreover, he was hardly shy about the scheme. He reportedly solicited bribes from 112 students. His rate of return was just under ten percent. With 10 payments from nine students.

The scheme was breathtaking in its boldness.

For example, in March 2020, he sent an email under one of his aliases, “Bertie Benson,” to another of his aliases, “Amanda Wilbert.” In the email, he offered to complete “Wilbert’s” math assignments and guaranteeing her an A for $300. He then forwarded that email to 112 students enrolled in a class that he was teaching. According to prosecutors, he would then “haggle” students on how much the grade would cost.

When one student balked at the $500, Ennels reportedly asked “how much can you afford?”

What was striking about that exchange is that the student had written to him to say “Oh I don’t have that sorry. I will be sure to keep studying and pass my exam.” While the default position, the student was prepared to actually learn the material. Yet, Ennels immediately lowered his price.

Presumably, Ennels thought that the alias would offer a protective wall to prevent direct evidence of fraud since the assignments and tests would be completed (by himself).

It is shocking enough to see a fellow academic abandon everything that we believe in. However, Ennels did it for $2,815. He also sold online access codes that enabled students to view instructional material and complete assignments for $90. That proved a more popular product. He sold 694 access codes.

He was sentenced to 10 years in prison but all but one year of the term suspended. He also was ordered to pay $60,000 in restitution and will be on probation for five years upon his release.

His lawyer insisted to the New York Times that his client had a gambling addiction but was “in no way motivated” by greed. He added “He’s a good person, he loved his job, he loved his students. He’ll move past this.”

Perhaps but it is highly unlikely he will do so as a teacher on any level after teaching at the community college for over 15 years.

Free Speech? Trans City Councilor Confronts Crusty Shop Owner Over a Sign in His Shop. Now Antifa's Involved.

You may remember Aberdeen, Washington. It’s the small, working-class town where Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain came up. The coastal town of 20,000 is populated by people who get their hands dirty by fishing and logging. And it’s where Vietnam vet Don Sucher has run his Star Wars shop for more than 20 years.

Sucher, a crusty shop owner with a salty mouth, was confronted by a local city councilor, Tiesa Meri Meskis, born a man but who now identifies as a woman, over a sign in Sucher’s shop window.

“If You Were Born With a Dick, You’re Not a Chick,” the sign reads, in part.

Emboldened by the current corrosive zeitgeist of threats and intimidation to achieve political goals, Meskis barged into Sucher & Sons Star Wars Shop on Wednesday to video her planned confrontation with the elderly shop owner.

Meskis screamed at the shop owner, chanting for five minutes that “trans women are women” and Sucher wasn’t having it. Before he told the much larger council member to take the shrieking outside, he said she was “nuts,” “you don’t look like a woman,” and “you’re not a woman.”

The councilor berated the sign and accused the shop owner of being a bigot.

Sucher later told a curious reporter from Seattle’s KING 5 News that he didn’t care about the council member’s feelings because the sign is so popular with the locals: “I don’t give a fk about feelings anymore. I went to Vietnam to fight for all this sh*t. Do you think I care about some ahole’s feeling? Absolutely not!

Though the shout fest appears to have been a planned stunt to embarrass Sucher and hurt his business, the council member later told KING 5 News that she did it to teach him to be compassionate for people like her.

Meskis told King 5 News that “we are who we are and we all want to be accepted in our community,” though she doesn’t accept him.

And now antifa’s involved. KING 5 News reports that the council member called in allies to protest the store on Saturday morning.

Famous M'sian Comedian Arrested Over Alleged Involvement In Sex Trafficking Case

The suspect is said to be in his 40s and was once the runner-up of the popular TV show 'Maharaja Lawak Mega'.

A Malaysian celebrity was recently arrested over their involvement in a sex trafficking case

Sinar Harian reported that the popular comedian was arrested at a hotel in Kuala Pilah on Monday, 2 August.

Kuala Pilah district police chief Supt Amran Mohd Ghani said the suspect was detained during a raid where authorities also seized condoms, cash, four mobile phones, and a Perodua Axia.

During the raid, police managed to save a woman from sexual exploitation and a temporary protection order has been issued for her.

The victim has since been sent to a safe home in Johor.

It is said that the celebrity's role in the syndicate is to transport women to hotels after they have been 'booked' online through applications such as WhatsApp

Harian Metro reported that clients are charged over RM1,000 for eight hours of sex.

An unnamed source told the Malay daily that during interrogation, the woman who was apprehended at the scene claimed that she was involved in prostitution activities conducted by an agent named 'Kevin', whose role was to promote sex services through various social media applications.

"Usually, interested customers are asked to deposit money into a bank account under Kevin's name," they added.

They explained further, "The arrest wasn't coincidental as police planned it carefully and conducted a special operation to uncover the human trafficking activities for the purpose of sexual exploitation."

An IT analyst who lives across the street from a Lyndhurst public school was caught with more than 100 child porn images, authorities said.

Paul S. An, 26, was arrested Wednesday following a raid of his Stuyvesant Avenue home on July 29, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Friday.

An investigation found that An – who lives across from the K-12 Roosevelt School – “used the Internet to view, download, and share approximately 110 digital files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent children,” the prosecutor said.

Cyber Crimes Unit detectives charged him with three counts of distribution child pornography, Musella said.

A Superior Court judge on Thursday released An pending trial.

Musella thanked Lyndhurst police, who participate in his Cyber Crimes Task Force.

West Bengal: Cops, child rights body rescue 22 girls sold to brothel; 25 including pimps & owners arrested

Kolkata: In a piece of good news, the West Bengal police, West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights (WBCPCR) in association with two NGOs rescued 22 teens from a brothel at Neamatpur in Asansol. As per the report, the girls were aged between 13 and 17 who were forced into prostitution.

The cops' team raided the brothel on Wednesday night and arrested 25 people including brothel owners, pimps, and clients. Out of the 22 rescued girls, seven girls are from Bihar's Samastipur district.

In a statement issued by the WBCPCR, seven recused girls from Samastipur mostly dance at local parties but during the lean period, they had to work at the brothel.

While commenting on the incident, the child rights body chairperson Ananya Chakraborti said, “The seven girls from Bihar were forced into prostitution. The rest from Bengal were mostly sold off after being lured by job offers," as saying was quoted by The Times of India.

Meanwhile, reacting to the raid the officials said, the rescued girls were shifted to a West Burdwan home. Girls from Bihar's Samastipur district will be shifted to the state.

Two NGOs that were part of the rescue operation are Shakti Vahini and Bachhpan Bachao Andolan. One of the NGO officials Rishikant said that in the name of performing at weddings and dance bars, girls were pushed into the sex trade.

He further noted that "With most survivors found to be from Bihar, it shows that that trafficking will not follow a set pattern where a large section of the population is in deep financial stress,” reports TOI.

The police team arrested owners and clients in this case and a probe is on as girls were mostly sold off after being lured by job offers.

Over 800 Unaccompanied Children Crossing Border Illegally Apprehended in One Day

Border agents on Wednesday took into custody 834 unaccompanied children illegally crossing the southern border, marking the highest daily total recorded since the Biden administration started releasing such data in March.

The data, which was first reported by the Washington Examiner, came on the heels of preliminary Department of Homeland Security (DHS) figures indicating July border crossings by unaccompanied minors would hit an all-time high.

Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have been critical of the Biden administration for setting policies that they say are fueling the border surge.

The report drew a critical comment from Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), who wrote in a tweet: “Biden’s open border policy is a disaster.”

Members of the Biden administration have pushed back on the claim that their policies are what’s driving the trend, blaming seasonal factors, unaddressed “root causes” in home countries that drive people to flee their homes, and what DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said was a “dismantled” Trump-era immigration system that’s hindering the response to the crisis.

Wednesday’s single-day apprehension record came just days after David Shahoulian, assistant secretary for border and immigration policy at DHS, estimated in court filings that more than 19,000 unaccompanied children were encountered along the southern border in July, a new all-time high.

While the figures are preliminary and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has yet to include the official July tally in its encounters database, the number Shahoulian cited exceeds the previous peak of 18,877 children crossing the border without parents or legal guardians in March.

Unaccompanied children are exempt from a policy known as Title 42 that allows government workers to immediately expel anyone caught crossing the border illegally without a hearing as a measure to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

The Biden administration continues to expel single adults and family units under Title 42 authority, which was used to expel 104,907 people in June alone.

On Monday, the Biden administration extended the Title 42 order, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announcing that the measure would remain in place “until the CDC Director determines that the danger of further introduction of COVID-19 into the United States from covered noncitizens has ceased to be a serious danger to the public health.”

It comes as the rate at which individuals taken into custody after crossing the border illegally are testing positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, has “increased significantly” in recent weeks, according to DHS officials.
