A supposed medical study cited by the Biden administration to justify renewing mask mandates has been exposed as a fake.
The supposed study, conducted in India, was used by the Centers for Disease Control to make misleading claims that people vaccinated against COVID-19 were just as likely as unvaccinated people to spread the virus’ Delta variant.
That claim, which is false, was cited by the Biden administration in calls to mandate masks for vaccinated people.
