There are billions of neurons in the brain, but the power generated by each one is microamps x millivolts, so somewhere in the range of nanowatts per neuron. As another answer noted a human dissipates about 100 watts at rest - the vast majority of that is heat. I doubt that even 10% of that could be attributed to electrical energy in the brain.>>14293435
