Tell him to Force the Issue. Make them give him an Article-15. DO NOT EXACERBATE THE ISSUE with any other chargeable offenses, he knows what these are. Basically don't give them ANY OTHER excuse. Then he needs to take it to a Courts Martial Trial of his peers & leaders. The worst that can happens is the discharge. But there is plenty of employment out here, and he can bring the documentation of the Course Martial to an interview to show the Horseshit.
The Best that can Happens is it gets Highlighted in the Courts Martial as a matter of record, gets tossed, and potentially media coverage, IF he's cool with that.
