My wife is an emergency room RN at a nearby hospital and she says they’re seeing a big uptick in COVID positive patients. I asked her how many of them have been vaccinated but she has no for sure way (for now) to know. My suspicion is that the majority have been vaccinated as most people I know have been vaccinated and it’s getting more and more difficult to not be. I don’t know how much longer I’ll have access to this kind of info as my wife is currently in the process of getting a religious exemption to try and keep her job (they mandated that all employees must be vaccinated by October unless they have an exemption). She’s ready to lose her job if it come to that because she and I, as well as our kids (one of whom is a USMC reservist) will not take the jab. It may cost us dearly but whatever. I’m focused on our eternal home and not the things of this world. Anyway, it doesn’t make sense that a virus would dramatically increase in the heat of summer. The only logical correlation, in my humble but accurate opinion, is that the increase in COVID positive cases is directly related to the huge increase in the number of people who have taken the jab in the past 2-3 months.

Here in NC the general statute just says you have to give your employer a memo stating you claim the religious exemption. No signatures required, no substantive reasoning necessary. However, the hospital system has taken it upon themselves to draft their own religious exemption form that employees must complete. At the top of that for there are several BS statements about COVID that the employee must sign or else the form is incomplete. It’s really contrary to the NC general statute and should technically be illegal or at least invalid. The problem is, the powers that be in the state and the medical field are all in on the COVID narrative so I doubt they would take any lawsuits or objections to the form created by the hospital system seriously. Here’s the statements at the top of the form that employees claiming exemption must acknowledge (pic related).
