It seems to me that the world is in free fall. Everything is inverted, and as the matrix fails at the end of the Age, lies have become the currency of life.

The under the radar set up

It is obvious to any one with more than a couple of brain cells that this pandemic is a plan long in the making, and a major step in the elite’s mission to control all life on earth. The Luciferian agenda has crept forward in such small increments that few have noticed this shuffle into tyranny.

But now push has come to shove…the world has been brought to its knees by a pathogen with a 99% recovery rate….

As a result of this ‘fake pandemic’ the hysteria and oppression unleashed on the unsuspecting public is diabolical, unconscionable and criminal.

So what is this scamdemic really all about?

The agenda

The soulless beings that created this dimension have been tinkering with our genome for a very long time. Our bodies have been modified and our awareness dumbed down to the point where it is hard to distinguish a herd of sheep from people in the street.

And, it is my sense that the inoculation being foisted upon humanity is another modification of our genome. Carried out by the same demonic bunch that have been interfering with us before the so called ‘primal scream’.

Modification and manipulation

Carl Sagan in his book The Dragons of Eden shows evidence that the volume of the human cranium increased by 33 percent at some time in the distant past. The increase in size was caused by the addition of the frontal lobes, the neo cortex that gave us self awareness. Gave us the I…the almighty ego.

And god said: Genesis 3:22: “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

Carl Sagan also shows that there were modifications to the female pelvis to allow for the passage of bigger heads.

And god said to the woman: Gen 3 v 16 “I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, In pain you shall bring forth children.” And god cursed Eve with painful childbirth.

Looks like these ‘gods’ are immortals just like the characters we find in myth and legend. Zeus/Enki for starters.

So what’s the next step in their diabolical agenda? Could it be the destruction of our spiritual link to Source Creator? Reinforcing the prison of the five sense world….that would make their wet dream of trans-humanism much easier to establish.

Justin Trudeau was so gracious as to bestow a few hours of his time to Calgarians on Thursday. The prime minister was in town for a very quick campaign stop where he was cheerleading former Calgary city councillor George Chahal, the Liberal candidate in the Calgary Skyview riding.

The event was not publicized, and all but a few select invitees and media outlets were left guessing at where Trudeau might visit. Along with my intrepid videographer Kian “K2” Simone, I sleuthed my way to the location after crisscrossing the riding for hours. Just as we were going to give up our search, we saw Trudeau’s “Trudeau 2021” campaign airplane coming in for a landing overhead, and we knew we were on the right track.

When we finally discovered the event, we proceeded unfettered to the media area, but when it was time to enter the fenced off area where the event was set to take place, a member of Trudeau’s security detail singled us out and attempted to remove us from the property.

Committed to the task of covering the election, I asked who I could speak to about access to events moving forward, to ensure this does not happen again.

I was directed to approach a nearby event organizer named Adam, who was surprisingly sympathetic to our journalistic plight. He spoke to another campaign tour coordinator named Marie, who came and apologized for not letting us in and insisted that she would ask her boss about ensuring we have access at future events. She explained that the event was already at capacity so no one else could enter the main area, but insisted that we were welcome to remain on the property and in a position that allowed us an unobstructed view of the event. She was even kind enough to accompany us to a location where she thought we might get a good shot.

It is no secret that the Trudeau campaign has hardly been welcoming to independent media outlets, clearly favouring their bought and paid for, grant-receiving media friends, so it remains to be seen if they will afford us access moving forward.

Trudeau gave a speech that featured his typical 2021 talking points; foremost among them on this day were spending, Jason Kenney and vaccine coercion.

Unsurprisingly, Trudeau had no time for questions following the event, though he did have time to mingle with the approved attendees who were standing in cohorts inside of chalk circles on the ground (yes, really). We were also treated to a Liberal supporter attempting to interfere with our filming efforts. With one final flurry of excitement as Trudeau exited, the event was over as soon as it began.

The response we received from campaign staff was certainly more cordial than our prior welcomes at Trudeau events, but it remains apparent that Rebel News and other independent journalists are being unfairly excluded from covering the election.

That doesn’t mean that we are going to stop — in fact, we are more committed than ever to providing real journalism that is not influenced by government funding.

Journalists shouldn’t have to face so much difficulty to ask a politician a simple question, but that is the sad reality of today’s political landscape.

We won’t back down from covering this election, no matter how hard they try to make it, but we need your support to be able to tell the other side of the election story.

With British Columbia currently experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers, does Prime Minister Justin Trudeau think that we can afford to lose a single healthcare professional before the upcoming cold and flu season — simply because they opt out of taking a COVID-19 vaccine that does not stop the virus from spreading?

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has delivered on her previous threat to unvaccinated healthcare workers, by declaring that long-term care and assisted living workers will have to be fully vaccinated by October 12. So I thought this would be a perfect question to ask the prime minister on behalf of the public, while he made an announcement open to media this past Tuesday at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

But the leader of our country seems more focused on leading the suppression of freedom of press, likely in the hopes of controlling the types of questions he gets asked to increase the likelihood of him ending up with a majority government.

Unlike the state media journalists from CBC and CTV, whose outlets depend on handouts from the liberal government, I was given the runaround and ultimately refused entry to cover the event without any reason.

Except I wasn’t the only journalist treated less than human by the Liberals’ media gatekeeper, Galen Richardson. Independent journalist Dan Dicks from Press for Truth was also denied entry to question Trudeau, likely because what we had in common was the plan to ask the PM a tough question.

Facebook bans PPC candidate Marc Emery after criticizing “evil COVID dictatorship”

‘Prince of Pot’ Marc Emery was banned from Facebook on Friday. The 30-day ban coincides with the entire election cycle in which Emery is running as a candidate for the People’s Party of Canada in London North Centre.

Emery told True North the current ban is for five posts from September 2020 to August 2021. In the first post, Emery purportedly violated Facebook’s “community standards on hate speech” by criticizing Canada’s “evil COVID dictatorship.”

Emery posted a photo of a takeout bag from a Vancouver restaurant that suffered financially due to COVID lockdowns and had to close down. Emery lamented the loss of the business and criticized the “soft, weak, unprincipled” Canadians who “begged for this dictatorship because of hysteria, propaganda, lies and manipulation.”

The other four posts that got the libertarian cannabis activist banned included photos of legally purchased marijuana— hardly outliers in his social media history considering that Emery has “posted thousands of cannabis posts over the years.”

In the final August 5 post, Emery was posing with cannabis samples a friend sent as a gift. Emery noted that Facebook’s ban was particularly puzzling given it gave him the opportunity of paying to promote the post as an ad, before subsequently banning him for it.

Emery described Facebook’s banning policy as “mercurial” and said that “there is absolutely no consistency in their interpretation of anything.” Emery wants to appeal the ban so it doesn’t impact his campaign, but he said he has “no idea how to contact Facebook to question the timing of this ban, or anything.”

Although frustrated, Emery said he is not surprised. He had been using Facebook to warn Canadians for months about the dangers of government “tyranny.” He said that if we continued to accept government encroachment into all aspects of our lives, Canadians were “all going to suffer.”

Emery is no stranger to social media censorship or the heavy hand of the state. He has been banned on social media 15 times since 2015 and has been jailed for his cannabis in every province.

“He spent most of his adult life fighting for more freedom and paid the price by spending many years in prison for a crime that doesn’t exist anymore,” PPC spokesperson Martin Masse told True North.

Emery began his cannabis legalization efforts 30 years ago and ran in the former London East as a Libertarian in 1980. He told True North that he feels he has come “full circle” with his latest candidacy in a July interview.

Protesters demand removal of biological male inmates from women’s prisons

A crowd of approximately 75 gathered outside the Fraser Valley Institution for Women in Abbotsford, BC on Saturday afternoon to demand the removal of biological male inmates from women’s prisons.

Among the attendees were women’s rights advocates, former inmates and other members of the public. “Males don’t belong here” and “gender self-ID hurts women” were some of the phrases written on the protesters’ signs.

According to Heather Mason, a prisoner’s rights advocate with Canadian Women’s Sex-Based Rights, there are five males claiming to be transgender housed at the Fraser Valley Institution for Women, out of a total 92 inmates. One such male inmate is 39-year old Tara Desousa (Adam Laboucan), who is incarcerated for raping a three-month old infant boy. The baby boy required serious reconstructive surgery, and now Desousa resides at a prison that runs a mother-child program.

In 2017, the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) changed its gender identity policy to allow convicted male criminals to be transferred to women’s prisons if they self-identify as transgender. Prior to 2017, any male inmate requesting to be transferred to a women’s prison must have undergone gender reassignment surgery.

The protest organizers argue the new policy prioritizes gender self-identification theory over women’s Charter-based rights to safety.

According to Mason, the former CSC deputy commissioner for women said in 2019 that 50% of the males who request to be transferred to a female prison are sex offenders. Mason says that many correctional guards she has spoken to are not a fan of the transfer policy, but they are not allowed to speak out. At the Fraser Valley Institution for Women, there have purportedly been STD scares, pregnancy rumours and sexual harassment allegations because of the biological males in residence.

“[Corrections Canada] let men basically rule the prison … women are scared to speak up because they think their paroles are going to get denied,” former Fraser Valley Institution inmate Alia Pierini told the crowd. “I’m sick and tired of the men, the rapists getting support over the women.”

Similarly, women in homeless shelters and halfway houses fear speaking out against the presence of biological males because they don’t want to be banned from the services they rely on.

The protest – the fourth in a series of Canada-wide rallies organized by Heather Mason and other representatives from women’s rights groups – went on without a hitch, with passing vehicles continuously honking and waving in support.

The Leaders’ Debates Commission announced today that they are not inviting me to participate in the English and French debates.

I was disappointed, but not surprised.

The criteria to be included was that PPC support in polls must average 4% over the past two weeks.

Several polls unveiled in recent days give the People’s Party 4, 5, and even 6% in the voting intentions.

Like me, I am sure that you’re feeling the surge in support for the PPC across the country!

But the Commission had to include other polls that give us barely 1 or 2%. I think these polls have a flawed methodology and do not reflect reality at all.

I do not blame the Commission, whose criteria were clear and objective.

Rather, I blame the political establishment cartel, which refuses to debate the crucial issues we raise and has done everything to marginalize us since the founding of the PPC.

I blame some national media, which two years ago worked with Warren Kinsella, the professional mud thrower who was paid by the Conservative Party, to portray us as racist and intolerant when that is a complete lie.

Also those media that today don’t even include us in their daily coverage of the campaign, while they cover the Greens, whose support in the polls is at the same level as ours.

The reality is, the more Canadians hear about us, the more they realize that we are the only party that offers a different view than everyone else. Support for the People’s Party continues to grow for this reason.

My exclusion from the debates will not stop this wave. It is simply a confirmation of the existence of the establishment cartel.

Debate or no debate, we must make sure that Canadians keep hearing from us!

A pro-life advocacy group is calling on Conservative leader Erin O’Toole to say he will not require medical professionals to refer patients to procedures, such as abortion and assisted suicide, that go against their consciences.

Co-founder and president of RightNow Scott Hayward said in a press release on Saturday that he hopes O’Toole upholds his leadership pledge to support conscience rights for medical professionals.

“Erin O’Toole promised to pro-lifers…that he would protect conscience rights of medical professionals across Canada,” said Hayward. “Now it appears with his comments yesterday in Winnipeg that his policy would require that medical professionals would have to refer patients to colleagues for medically unnecessary procedures, such as physician-assisted suicide.”

The Conservative Party of Canada’s 2021 election platform, which was revealed last Monday, stated the party will protect the conscience rights of medical professionals if it forms government. The platform said conscience rights need to be protected to avoid “driving any of these professionals out of their profession.”

After the Liberals accused O’Toole of having a secret social conservative agenda, he said at a press conference on Friday that he believes doctors should be required to refer patients to procedures they object to.

“They will have to refer, because the rights to access those services exist across the country,” he said.

Co-founder of RightNow Alissa Golob said that she is disappointed O’Toole appears to have changed his mind.

“Erin O’Toole has flip-flopped on a key promise he made to pro-lifers during the Conservative leadership race last year,” said Golob. “The Conservative Party is united on this point, having passed a motion at the policy convention that specifically states that medical professionals would not have to provide effective referrals when it comes to assisted suicide, and other procedures such as abortion.”

O’Toole said in an interview with RightNow in 2020 that he supported conscience rights for medical professionals.

“Not only do I think it is possible to do, but it must be done, because we must respect their religious and conscience rights, however they come to their position,” he said at the time. “That is a fundamental part of our democratic tradition and our rights-based history that helped form the Charter.”

Hayward said this new position taken by O’Toole is insufficient.

“I know that many pro-lifers were excited when this policy was announced on Monday as part of the party’s overall campaign platform,” said Hayward. “However, the conscience rights policy for medical professionals is essentially null and void if they must effectively refer for medically unnecessary procedures, such as physician-assisted suicide.”

The Conservative Party did not return a request for comment prior to publication of this story.

US grants Pfizer Covid vaccine full approval

The US Food and Drug Administration on Monday fully approved Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine, a move expected to trigger a new wave of vaccine mandates as the Delta variant batters the country.

“The FDA’s approval of this vaccine is a milestone as we continue to battle the Covid-19 pandemic,” acting FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock said in a statement.

“While millions of people have already safely received Covid-19 vaccines, we recognize that for some, the FDA approval of a vaccine may now instill additional confidence to get vaccinated.”

The Covid vaccine, which may now be marketed under its brand name Comirnaty, is the first to receive full approval.

Tens of millions of shots have already been administered under an emergency use authorization (EUA) that was granted on December 11, 2020.

The decision to award it approval was based on updated data from the drug’s clinical trial, including a longer duration of follow-up, with safety and effectiveness evaluated among more than 40,000 people.

The US military has previously announced it will mandate the vaccine as soon as it receives full approval, and a slew of private businesses and universities are expected to follow.

The vaccine remains available under emergency use authorization to children aged 12 to 15, but because it has now been fully approved, physicians may prescribe it to children under 12 if they believe it will be beneficial.

FDA: People Shouldn't Take Livestock Drug to Fight COVID

The Food and Drug Administration cautioned people not to take the drug Ivermectin, intended to fight parasitic worms in livestock, to treat or prevent COVID-19.

The FDA's warning on Saturday echoed a message Friday by the Mississippi State Department of Health, which released a statement following reports that an increasing number of people in The Magnolia State were using the drug to prevent a COVID infection, The New York Times reported.

Studies last year – especially in Latin America – inspired people to use the drug against COVID-19.

In February, though, the National Institutes of Health said that most of the Ivermectin-related studies "had incomplete information and significant methodological limitations."

The NIH cited small sample sizes and often-unclear study outcome measures.

The Times reported that more than two-thirds of recent calls placed to Mississippi's poison control center were related to "ingestion of livestock or animal formulations of Ivermectin purchased at livestock supply centers," the state department of health said in a release.

Among people who called about ingesting Ivermectin, 85% had mild symptoms, the Times said. One person was told to "seek further evaluation" because of the large amount apparently ingested, the state’s health department said.

The FDA said it received multiple reports, including some in Louisiana, of people who have "required medical support and been hospitalized after self-medicating with Ivermectin intended for horses."

The FDA has not approved the drug for COVID treatment.

"You are not a horse," the FDA tweeted. "You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it."

Ivermectin was promoted as a potential COVID treatment earlier in the pandemic. But studies since have found that the drug's effectiveness against coronavirus is weak. The FDA has not approved the drug for COVID treatment.

Some supporters of the drug found it easier to obtain than a similar drug approved to combat tropical maladies in humans. That drug requires a prescription, The Washington Post reported in April.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., was suspended from YouTube in June for posting a video touting Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine as treatments for COVID-19, the Post reported.

In a release, the FDA said: "Taking large doses of [Ivermectin] is dangerous and can cause serious harm. … Never use medications intended for animals on yourself. Ivermectin preparations for animals are very different from those approved for humans."

Symptoms associated with Ivermectin toxicity include rash, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, neurological disorders and potentially severe hepatitis that could require hospitalization, Mississippi health officials said.

Mississippi reported 5,048 COVID-19 cases on Friday. Hospitalization and death rates have also been rising, the Times said.

An Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) trustee wants mandatory masking to be required of all kindergartners in the district once students return to school this fall.

The motion which is titled “Mandatory masking for students in all kindergarten classes” was submitted by trustee Lyra Evans before Tuesday’s OCDSB special committee of the whole meeting.

It specifically calls for “the OCDSB (to) extend the existing mandatory masking mandate to include students in all kindergarten classes.”

True North reached out to Evans for further clarification regarding the motion but did not receive a response by the given deadline.

In line with the Ontario government’s public health directions, OCDSB masking policy currently requires compulsory masking for students between Grades 1-12.

As it stands, students in kindergarten are only being “strongly encouraged” to wear a mask.

Additionally, the school board allows for students who are unable to wear a mask based on the Ontario Human Rights Code to seek accommodations on mask use.

Alongside wanting to force kindergarteners to wear masks, Evans will also be presenting a number of other motions related to vaccinations and child consent.

According to Public Health Ontario, children have a cumulative rate of infection 1.6 times lower than adults. Additionally, hospitalizations, ICU admissions and severe outcomes are “much lower” than the amount reported in adult populations.

In total, Evans submitted five motions to be presented on Tuesday. One deals with mandating vaccinations for OCDSB staff.

“Staff who are unable to receive vaccinations for medical reasons be

prioritized for teaching and working in the virtual learning environment,” Evans wrote.

Another motion also requires “any volunteer” with the board such as coaches or chaperones to “provide proof of full vaccinations against the COVID-19 virus.”

Additionally, a motion put forward by Evans seeks to require anyone visiting school grounds including guests and parents to be required to show proof that they are fully vaccinated when accessing public school property.

Evans’ final motion also has to do with educating students on making “informed medical decisions” around vaccination, citing court rulings that state that children 12 years of age can make “informed medical decision” without parental consent.

Latest poll shows Bernier’s PPC surge past Bloc Québécois, Green Party

Maxime Bernier’s People’s Party of Canada (PPC) has “wind in its sails” according to spokesperson Martin Masse after a recent poll by Mainstreet Research revealed that the party was polling at 6.6% nationally.

The survey, which was commissioned for iPolitics, shows that the PPC is outpolling both the Bloc Québécois who only has 5.9% of the vote and the Green Party which is only sitting at 3.3% nationally.

“We’ve seen a marked uptick in funding, requests for signs by ordinary citizens, level of organization and activity on the ground since the campaign started a week ago,” Masse told True North.

Mainstreet Research is a Canadian research firm with headquarters in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. The company has received flack in the past for incorrectly calling the Calgary mayoral election in 2017.

Last week, the Leaders’ Debates Commission announced that Bernier and the PPC would not be allowed to partake in this year’s federal debate.

According to the Commission’s 2021 requirements, parties must have either one MP in the House of Commons, show that they are polling at a minimum of 4% national support five days before the election call or have received at least 4% of the vote in 2019.

Masse told True North that the latest polls show that the Commission erred in barring the party from the national debates.

“The most recent polls that all put us clearly above the 4% threshold are proof that the Leaders’ Debates Commission made the wrong decision to exclude us, based on outlier results in some polls, including one ridiculous poll by IPSOS that put us at 0.7% support,” said Masse.

“The political and media establishment would prefer to exclude us, ignore us, and pretend that we don’t exist, but they will have egg on their face if our support continues to grow.”

Other polls, including an August 22 survey released by EKOS, seem to also corroborate a surge in PPC support. According to that survey’s results, the PPC is polling at 6.1% and is tied with the Bloc Québécois.

Attorney Melinda C. Mayne, and Kaira S. McCallum submitted a 27-page ‘Request for Investigation’ to the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague back in April 2021 alleging the UK Government and its advisors were complicit in crimes against humanity in the name of Covid-19.

On the 28th of April 2021, the pair received a formal acknowledgement from the ICC and were assigned a case number – ‘141/21’. Since then the pair have been gathering new evidence to use in their ICC claim and have established connections with lawyers and research scientists from around the world.

A new press release released on the 17th August, which can be viewed here, confirms that the pair have received sworn affidavits from leading experts including research scientist and nuclear cardiologist Dr Richard M. Fleming, the Nobel Laureate virologist Professor Luc A. Montagnier, and Dr Kevin W. McCairn, a neuroscientist and expert on neurological disease.

Professor Luc A Montagnier, who won a Nobel prize for his work on the HIV virus, claimed in April 2020 that he believed the novel coronavirus was created in a laboratory. Then in May 2021 the expert virologist stated that “Mass vaccinations are a scientific error as well as a medical error. It is an unacceptable mistake. The history books will show that, because it is the vaccination that is creating the variants”.

A new claim has also been submitted to the ICC due to the vast amount of new evidence and information that has come to light in the past few months, and the lawyers say they now have compelling evidence that “the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the Covid-19 ‘vaccines’ are deliberately engineered bioweapons that have been released in two phashes on unsuspecting peoples of the world”.

Attorney Melinda C. Mayne, and Kaira S. McCallum have also confirmed that they have now be joined by lawyers who have filed similar Requests for Investigation to the International Criminal Court, in France, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Because of this a letter was sent to the ICC on the 12th August 2021 requesting they all be allowed to submit a joint claim, whilst also submitting preliminary evidence for the allegations common to everyone across the world, and requesting the right to have claims specific to individual countries also investigated by the ICC.

One request specific to the United Kingdom is an examination of genocide of the elderly and vulnerable that took place in care homes and hospitals through the inappropriate use of midazolam and morphine. Another investigation specific to this issue has also now concluded and a private criminal prosecution will proceed against the UK Government, Matt Hancock, Chris Whitty and others if the team of lawyers and experts who have carried out the investigation do not receive satisfactory answers to the extensive questions that have been forwarded to the aforementioned in an open letter sent on the 17th August 2021.

Whilst in the joint claim between lawyers from several countries they have requested that there be an immediate suspension on the entire Covid-19 injection programme and an end to the testing of asymptomatic people.

The lawyers say that they now eagerly await the decision of the International Criminal Court as to whether they will allow a joint claim by several countries to be made and accept the Request for Investigation.

They have made it clear to the ICC that due to the escalating medical apartheid, the loss of basic freedoms and rights, and the ever-increasing, very high number of deaths and serious adverse events suffered by recipients of Covid-19 injections, that there is an urgent need for the Court to act swiftly and without further delay.

To that end the lawyers have requested a meeting at the Hague as soon as is practicable.

Whilst awaiting the response Attorney Melinda C. Mayne, and Kaira S. McCallum have confirmed they are in discussions with lawyers in other countries who have not yet filed their individual Requests to the ICC, but have indicated they wish to join them, and will issue an update as and when there is further news.

Professor blasts COVID-19 jabs for young: ‘No such thing as mild myocarditis’

According to an August 19 article in the Western Standard, Dr. Steven Pelech asked, “Why would you want to submit people who are unlikely to be negatively affected by the virus itself with vaccines that have now been proven, in scientific literature, to be associated with health risks?”

“Contrary to what a number of people have said, there is no such thing as ‘mild myocarditis’.”

Pelech works in the Division of Neurology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. He is a tenured professor at UBC and has been on faculty at the university since 1988. Pelech also serves as chair for Scientific and Medical Advisory Committee at the Canadian Covid Care Alliance. He is the president and chief scientific officer at Kinexus Bioinformatics Corporation.

Health authorities in British Columbia have rolled out so-called ‘Vax Vans,’ which have been travelling around the province since July giving COVID-19 injections to kids over the age of 12 without parental consent.

The province claims they are allowed to do this under what it calls “mature minor consent.”

Pelech said that it is a clear “violation of human rights if these vaccinations become mandatory.”

“The law is quite explicit about this, and I’m surprised that the BC human rights commissioner has not been more vocal,” the professor said.

Pelech also remarked that what is happening now in Canada, where both the federal and many provincial governments are implementing COVID-19 jab mandates, is a “defining moment in society” and is “testing” consciences.

“Do you go with the flow even though you know it’s not right? When you do that, when you acquiesce to injustice, you are participating in that process. You are letting it happen,” Pelech stated.

Myocarditis, which is inflammation in the heart, is a potential side effect of COVID-19 jabs, particularly in young boys. Pelech noted that when the heart cells die from myocarditis “they are not replaced in your body and are instead replaced by scar-tissue, which is from fibroblasts.”

“The remaining muscle cells have to get a little bigger in order to compensate. Every time you get an inflammatory response, you lose more of that contractility and have a greater chance of heart attack and other problems later in life,” Pelech explained.

TORONTO, Ontario (LifeSiteNews) – The local union serving transit workers in the Toronto area has blasted a move by the city’s transit commission which mandates COVID-19 vaccines for all workers by early September.

“I want all members to know that I am very concerned about the TTC [Toronto Transit Commission] announcement today regarding mandatory vaccination,” said Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 113 president Carlos Santos in a statement Thursday.

“Local 113 supports the right of every member of Local 113 to make their own informed decisions about their personal health matters, including vaccination. We oppose mandatory vaccination of Local 113 members.”

On Thursday, Toronto mayor John Tory said all City of Toronto workers including TTC staff must get COVID-19 jabbed within the next two months.

“This is about protecting our entire broader workforce of approximately 37,660 employees, and ensuring that the city government is best prepared to weather a fourth wave and the Delta variant,” said Tory.

Shortly after Tory’s announcement, TCC Chief Executive Officer Richard J. Leary said that all TTC staff would be required to get COVID-19 jabs.

“As of Sept. 13, COVID-19 vaccinations will be mandatory for all TTC employees, contractors and students. This is in response to the increase in evidence around the transmissibility of the Delta variant and based on the recent actions taken by the City of Toronto,” said Leary.

Leary noted that “individuals will be required to provide proof of full-vaccination against COVID-19 or a medical reason for not being vaccinated against COVID-19.”

ATU Local 113 has served as the union for TTC workers in Toronto for 119 years.

Union head Santos said in his Thursday statement that Leary and the TTC “made this announcement without having crafted a policy.”

“The TTC has clearly not finalized how any potential policy will work, or made clear what alternatives to vaccination (if any) will be offered. The TTC has also not made clear what consequences (if any) will flow from a member’s refusal to be vaccinated,” said Santos.

Santos concluded his letter that ATU Local 113 will “aggressively oppose any action of the TTC which violates the rights of any member, whether it be unreasonable exercise of management’s rights, an express violation of the Collective Agreement, or a violation of the law, including the Human Rights Code.”

Last Tuesday, the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) said in a press release it is “unacceptable” that Canada’s federal government would use “discipline” to mandate its new requirement that all civil servants receive COVID-19 vaccines by October. Continue…

WESTMINSTER, England (LifeSiteNews) – A warrant for the arrest of Irish biomedical scientist, immunology expert, and outspoken lockdown critic Dolores Cahill, Ph.D., has been issued in England.

Cahill, a faculty member at University College Dublin’s (UCD) School of Medicine, has spoken at a number of rallies in the U.K. and Ireland on COVID-19 and the related public health policies, criticizing the government responses to the virus.

Cahill also was featured at the Truth Over Fear Summit in October 2020, where she stated that the March 2020 declaration of a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) was based on “no known moral, ethical, legal, scientific or medical basis,” and that the attending lockdown measures imposed in many parts of the world as a result are “not about COVID-19 anymore.”

The former university lecturer previously promoted “safe and effective treatments (for COVID) which should be made available” while noting that “everything else is about trying to control how many people (are) in your house, whether you can practice your religion, whether you have freedom to travel, whether you can assemble at rallies and not be threatened to be arrested by the police.”

In September 2020, the prominent academic held a rally against lockdown restrictions at London’s Trafalgar Square, attracting hundreds of attendees, with whom she shared her expert opinion on the effects of the virus. At that time, the British government had imposed new and strict restrictions around public assemblies, including a ruling that outdoor gatherings of more than 30 people were prohibited. More than 30 people were reportedly arrested at the event.

After her appearance in London, authorities requested a hearing on June 16 in what is known as a “single justice procedure,” in which a plea may be submitted for a decision by a magistrate, without the need to appear in court.

Cahill’s alleged offenses are based on contraventions against coronavirus-related rules, introduced in March 2020, one of which is holding a gathering outdoors with more than 30 people, and the other being her participation in a gathering of more than six people in any place.

Court documents show that Cahill did not attend the hearing, which was optional. After her decision to forgo the hearing, the professor was called to appear in court on August 10, charged with two offenses related to the September demonstration, but she failed to show. Westminster Magistrate’s Court, where Cahill was requested to appear, subsequently issued a warrant for her arrest.

The court told LifeSiteNews that, as of August 23, no arrest has been made and that the case has been postponed until September 10, one month after the warrant was issued.

Cahill has faced widespread criticism for her stance on the coronavirus crisis, stepping down from her position as chairperson of the Irish Freedom Party and no longer holding a teaching position at UCD, though she is still a faculty member at the university. Continue…

The call for vaccination by TD, RBC, BMO, CIBC and Scotia came a week after Transport Minister Omar Alghabra proposed a vaccination policy for employees and public servants who work in federally regulated transportation settings.

TD communicated in an email that employees must register their vaccination status with the bank by the end of September. Kenn Lalonde, chief human resources officer, wrote, “Effective November 1, 2021, full vaccination of an approved COVID-19 vaccine will be a requirement for all TD colleagues entering the TD workplace.”

Starting November 1, protocols will be put in place at TD for all employees who are not fully vaccinated or who do not disclose their status. They include rapid testing, wearing a face covering at all times, and completing a course about the benefits of vaccination.

Lalonde also said, “We believe that the majority of TD colleagues have already been vaccinated. This is great news. However, COVID-19 remains with us and the Delta variant, which is far more contagious, is spreading in our communities, primarily to those who are unvaccinated.”

This statement was made on behalf of TD without reference to the growing body of research that suggests the opposite of the mainstream narrative about the Delta variant.

Similar to TD, RBC sent a memo to employees saying, “As a next step, we will ask all employees to confirm their vaccination status by completing an attestation, beginning in Canada and the U.S., followed by other regions where applicable.”

A memo released to BMO employees stated that “those who remain unvaccinated will be required to complete twice-a-week COVID-19 testing and comply with alternative health and safety measures to enter a BMO location.”

Scotia Bank announced a similar policy, although has not set a firm deadline. Chief human resources officer Barb Mason said, “We are moving in the direction of making vaccinations mandatory for all Canadian-based employees, and contractors, later in the fall.”

According to Canadian lawyer Rocco Galati, any mandated medical procedure without the informed consent of the citizen is unconstitutional, and the Supreme Court of Canada has already ruled on this.

Canada-wide, the favoured approach among universities is to let students, staff, faculty and campus visitors make their own health decisions without threats to their liberties. As of August 17, 65% of Canadian universities (40/61 universities) do not have any mandatory vaccination policies in place.

Universities situated in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Yukon have not instituted any campus-wide mandatory vaccination policies.

However, at least one university situated in each of the provinces of Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Nova Scotia does have a mandatory vaccination policy.

Universities in Ontario and Saskatchewan are the worst offenders: 17/20 or 85% of Ontario universities have instituted a mandatory vaccine policy, although at some schools, students can opt for onerous twice-weekly testing regimes in lieu of the jab. Both of Saskatchewan’s universities have mandatory vaccine policies in place.

Since 2011, the Justice Centre has published the annual Campus Freedom Index report to measure the state of free speech at Canada’s publicly-funded universities. However, due to government-mandated lockdown measures, there was insufficient campus data to analyze for the 2020–2021 academic year. This year’s Campus Vaccine Index is therefore a special edition of our annual report.

The Justice Centre’s position is that mandating vaccination for Canadians under most circumstances violates their right to bodily autonomy, and other Charter protected rights to freedom of conscience and religion, mobility rights, and the right to liberty, and security of the person. The Justice Centre is considering the commencement of a Charter application against a college in Ontario which, if successful, may result in a change in policy on universities as well.

Getting a COVID-19 vaccination should not be a prerequisite to accessing postsecondary education in Canada.

BRITISH COLUMBIA, Canada (LifeSiteNews) – On Monday August 23, British Columbian Premier John Hogan, along with Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, told the press that starting September 13 – granting zero exemptions – the province will require digital proof of COVID-19 vaccination for entry into businesses and other public spaces.

According to the announcement which aired on CBC’s The National, the initial launch of the “vaccine card” system – a digital vaccine passport that operates through each person’s smartphone – will require every resident to have at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if they desire to enter certain publicly accessed spaces. Starting October 24, the province will then mandate that each person be “fully vaccinated” before access is granted.

As reported by the CBC, British Columbians will be required to show their digital “vaccine cards” if they want to access:

indoor ticketed sporting events

indoor concerts

indoor theatre/dance/symphony events

restaurants (indoor and patio dining)

night clubs

casinos

movie theatres

fitness centres/gyms (excluding youth recreational sport)

businesses offering indoor high-intensity group exercise activities

organized indoor events (e.g., weddings, parties, conferences, meetings, workshops)

discretionary organized indoor group recreational classes and activities

student housing on college and university campuses

62% of Canadians think Trudeau’s snap election is a “power grab”

A majority of Canadians view Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau’s snap election call negatively, according to the latest poll by Leger.

The survey, which was commissioned by Postmedia, found that 62% of Canadians described the 2021 election as a “power grab” by Trudeau.

On the other hand, only 38% reported that the election was an opportunity for Canadians to be a part of the decision regarding Canada’s post-pandemic future.

Leger surveyed 2,002 Canadians online between August 20-22, 2021 to get their results. If collected from a random sample, a similar poll would have a margin of error of ±2.2%, 19 times out of 20.

With regard to the election’s timing, an even larger majority said it was a bad time to go to the polls. Survey results found that 69% of Canadians believe that the “election could have waited until next year or later.”

Meanwhile, only 21% responded that 2021 was a “good time to have an election.”

When it comes to voting intentions among decided voters, the Conservative Party has been closing in on the Liberals. According to the poll, 33% of decided voters indicated that they will be voting for a Liberal Party candidate while 31% reported that they will be voting for a Conservative Party candidate.

The poll’s findings seem to corroborate other polls including a recent survey by EKOS which shows the Conservatives behind the Liberals by approximately one percentage point.

When calling the election earlier this month, Trudeau claimed that he was doing it to give Canadians a democratic choice.

“The answer to tyranny is to have an election,” said Trudeau in reference to accusations from the opposition.

Prior to calling the election, Trudeau also maintained that he was not interested in forcing Canadians to go to the vote.

According to a year-end interview with CBC’s Rosemary Barton, Trudeau stated that he was “not eager for an election” at the time.

Justin Trudeau said that the federal government is working with Canadian provinces on a vaccine passport that could be used internationally, at a campaign stop in Hamilton, Ont. on August 24 to announce the Liberals' housing plan.

The prime minister was asked for an update on the vaccine certification plans, which were announced earlier this month. The Liberals intend to allow only vaccinated travellers on commercial flights and interprovincial trains, though there is still no set date when this policy would come into effect. Trudeau, answering in French, emphasized that getting vaccinated will "allow" Canadians to travel.

The translated answer was as follows:

Question: Mr. Trudeau, you promised a pan-Canadian vaccination passport. We still have no date, do you have an update to give us on this, when it will be implemented? And are there any provinces that told you they were going to use their passport and asked for your help?

Trudeau: We are working with the provinces to establish a way to have a vaccination certification that they could use internationally. There are several provinces including Quebec and now British Columbia and others who have announced that they will go ahead with that and we are partnering with them. We will be there to make sure that people can travel internationally and have their proof of vaccination and that is why I am emphasizing how important it is for everyone to be vaccinated, because not only will it allow you to travel, but also it will allow you to get through this crisis as quickly as possible.

Kicked out of caucus for refusing COVID vaccine, Ontario MPP Rick Nicholls speaks out

Last week, Chatham-Kent-Leamington MPP Rick Nicholls stood firm against taking the COVID-19 vaccination. And it was not a decision without consequence. Premier Doug Ford had issued an ultimatum: all his MPPs had to get jabbed by 5 p.m. last Thursday, or face expulsion from caucus. It was not a bluff.

Precisely one hour before the deadline, Nicholls, who was first elected in 2011, held a brief press conference at Queen’s Park noting that he was not going to acquiesce to the premier’s demand nor deadline.

Said Nicholls: “I took the premier at his word that vaccination is a choice and that all Ontarians have a constitutional right to make such a choice. Like almost two million eligible Ontarians, I choose to exercise this autonomy over my own body, while continuing to work hard for the people of Ontario.”

Nicholls did not take any questions from the media upon the conclusion of his four minute long press conference. But we were able to interview Mr. Nicholls the next day regarding his decision.

Nicholls explained that it was a matter of principle not to get jabbed, as opposed to a religious or medical issue.

And he says that he will not be running next year as an independent MPP.

Still, in light of Premier Ford’s ultimatum, the questions arise: whatever happened to the old chestnut of, “my body, my choice”? Whatever happened to the concept of reasonable accommodation?

Apparently when it comes to the Doug Ford PC Party of Ontario, the new and not-so-improved slogan is, “our way or the highway.”

How shameful that Mr. Nicholls must now join a growing number of PC MPPs who have been given the boot merely for expressing a difference of opinion.

Canadian Press prints heavily biased “truth test” on O’Toole’s healthcare views

A so-called “truth test” by the Canadian Press on Erin O’Toole’s views around healthcare only included perspectives from sources who staunchly favour the status quo.

The August 24, 2021, article was published in several outlets including in the Toronto Star and the Times Colonist.

“The issue comes down to the question of whether private, for-profit health services can be offered without undermining Canada’s universal public health-care system,” the article reads.

The story was prompted by a manipulated video shared by Chrystia Freeland which attempted to paint O’Toole as opposed to universal healthcare. The 30-second video spliced together several sentences from a two-minute-long comment O’Toole made which actually stressed the importance of defending the universal system.

Instead of offering an objective analysis that includes perspectives from both sides of the issue, the Canadian Press’ purported fact check only included comment from “advocates for a universal public system.”

The only two experts quoted by the article were the chair of Canadian Doctors for Medicare, Dr. Melanie Bechard, and the national director of policy advocacy for the Canadian Health Coalition, Steven Staples.

Both organizations are explicitly opposed to providing private healthcare options for Canadians.

“Our mission is to provide a voice for Canadian doctors who want to strengthen and improve Canada’s universal publicly-funded health care system,” a Canadian Doctors for Medicare mission statement reads.

Based on these few expert opinions, the Canadian Press concludes that O’Toole “has not explained” his healthcare policy.

In reality, O’Toole’s campaign platform dedicates a substantial portion to explain his views on healthcare. Part of the platform includes extensive investments into Health Canada, pandemic preparedness and mental illness care for Canadians.

Additionally, the article ignored the fact that both public and private healthcare options are the standard in virtually most developed countries with a universal healthcare system, with Canada’s system being an outlier. Those nations include the UK, Japan, much of the EU and Australia. For example, alongside its National Health Service, the UK offers private medical insurance options and the NHS regularly contracts out services to private healthcare providers.

Toronto Police Association comes out against mandatory vaccinations

Following an abrupt move by the Toronto Police Service (TPS) to implement a mandatory vaccination requirement for all of its uniformed and civilian employees, the Toronto Police Association (TPA) released a statement opposing the mandate.

In a statement published on Tuesday, shortly after the TPS’ announcement, TPA President Jon Reid came out against the decision to make vaccines mandatory.

“This announcement, however preliminary, is missing critical details that are central to understanding the impacts, timelines, or potentially alternative options available to our members,” Reid wrote.

“The TPA must make every effort to protect all of our members and therefore, does not support this mandatory vaccination announcement or mandatory disclosure.”

The TPA is a non-profit organization that’s “dedicated to promoting and protecting the interested and rights of our members and the policing profession through representation, strong leadership and advocacy” according to their official mission statement.

It has been in operation since 1956 and represents both civilian and uniformed members across Toronto.

According to recent reports, the TPS policy will require all staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Beginning on September 13, 2021, the TPS will force all members to disclose their vaccination status.

“The safety of our members, our workplaces and the public is of utmost importance to us. Our members will be required to be fully vaccinated to protect each other and the communities we serve,” wrote TPS Chief James Ramer.

In total, the mandate will impact over 5,500 uniformed officers and approximately 2,200 civilian employees of the TPS.

Unvaccinated students sue Seneca College for denying them education

Seneca College’s mandatory vaccine policy is stopping students from completing their education and is “unethical and unlawful,” according to the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF).

Two students represented by the JCCF are now suing the college for denying them education due to their vaccine refusal.

Seneca College was the first postsecondary institution in Canada to announce that all students and staff coming to campus in September 2021 must have the COVID-19 vaccine. “Some doors will open to the vaccinated, and some will remain closed to the unvaccinated,” wrote Seneca College President David Agnew for the Toronto Star.

“The use of coercive and intimidating tactics in threatening to destroy students’ education and career prospects if they do not submit and receive the new COVID-19 vaccine is unethical and unlawful,” says JCCF Staff Lawyer Allison Pejovic.

In July, the JCCF sent letters on behalf of the students, advising Seneca College that legal action would commence if it did not lift the vaccine requirement. The letters never received a response.

In a Tuesday press release, JCCF identified the students as Ms. Mariana Costa and Ms. Crystal Love. Both students are anticipated to complete their education in April 2022. Costa is enrolled in a three-year Fashion Arts program, and Love is a single mother enrolled in a two-year Veterinary Technician program.

Although Agnew claimed in an email announcing the vaccination policy that Senica is not “requiring anyone to get a vaccine,” it is clear that those who are not eligible for a medical exemption and do not comply are left with few other options.

Costa and Love cannot fully complete their programs online, which will leave them struggling to begin their careers and earn enough income to pay back their student loans.

Agnew justifies the mandate on the basis that vaccines will “stop the spread of infections.”

Pejovic counters that Seneca’s policy is “not science or evidence-based, as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has admitted that fully vaccinated people with breakthrough infections carry high viral loads and can spread the disease to others.”

The JCCF plans to “aggressively defend” students’ charter rights against the “unconstitutional policy.” They assert that “in a free country, individuals are entitled to choose what they inject into their own bodies.”

A court may find that “vaccine mandates discriminate against the unvaccinated and are a violation of their equality rights,” according to JCCF. They claim that Seneca College bypassed the process of informed consent by failing to disclose “all of the known potential risks associated with the Covid-19 vaccinations (such as Bell’s Palsy, myocarditis, pericarditis, and thrombosis)” before telling students that vaccinations would be required to complete their education.

True North contacted Seneca College for comment but did not hear back by the time this article was published.

The JCCF is still gearing up for the legal battle in which they will “fiercely defend these women and their right to bodily integrity and the freedom to choose what medical treatment they undertake, without the fear of being denied their education.”

Trudeau campaign gets creative to hide small turnout at Calgary event

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a rare appearance in Alberta recently, holding a campaign rally in Calgary. Things operated a little differently at that event in Calgary when compared to his recent appearances elsewhere in the country — like say, in Ontario, where distancing was cast aside as crowds flocked around the prime minister.

But in Alberta, where COVID restrictions have largely been removed. the Trudeau campaign took every extra precaution and had groups stand in social distancing circles.

Joining last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show to discuss the difference in event regulations for the prime minister was Calgary-based Rebel reporter Adam Soos.

Was it all a trick for the cameras to hide the small size of the crowd? A virtue signal to show how serious Trudeau is about COVID-19? Adam described what he saw when he showed up and how all of these rules seemed to be thrown out rather quickly:

First of all, they were hiding the event — they didn't want anyone to know. We almost felt like the paparazzi trying to figure out where this event was. And you'd think as a politician, you'd want people to know where your events are.

We get there, it's a spectacle. Only people with the pre-approved red bands get to go in and they literally had chalk circles drawn on the floor and you were only allowed to go into your little cohort on the chalk circle.

Of course, when Justin Trudeau's shaking hands the circles went away and when he went back to his bus, everyone absolutely rushed in together and piled on. But like we said, there was maybe 70–100 people there, they tried to keep this event secret and there was still probably 20 counter protesters.

Richmond Hill MP Majid Jowhari holds meet and greet, but calls cops on Rebel News

When David Menzies showed up to ask questions about Jowhari's alleged support for the Iranian regime, his staff called the police.

On Parliament Hill, there are good MPs, there are mediocre MPs, and there are downright horrid MPs. And then there’s Majid Jowhari, the Liberal Member of Parliament for the riding of Richmond Hill, someone with a track record so odious that even some of his fellow Liberals, such as Reza Moridi, have denounced him.

The Richmond Hill riding has a significant Iranian population. Since I lived in this city for more than two decades, I can tell you that every Iranian I have met are those who fled their home country for a better life, given that Iran post-1979 has devolved into an authoritarian state and the world’s biggest sponsor of terrorism.

So how is it that someone such as Jowhari — who, incredibly, is pro-Iranian regime — can get elected? This is a man who has tweeted words of congratulations to the Iranian regime, has arranged meetings with members of the Iranian government and supports Iran reestablishing an embassy in Ottawa.

He has also lied about the status of his engineering credentials, earning Jowhari the dubious nickname of “the Persian Pinocchio.”

And lately, Jowhari’s track record has devolved from bad to horrid. Last November, it was reported by Global News that Jowhari had met with an Iranian businessman, Alireza Onghaei, who is accused of helping Tehran circumvent international sanctions.

CSIS called the financial transfers a threat to national security and cited “foreign influenced activities” detrimental to Canada. Of note, Onghaei has also financially contributed to Jowhari’s election campaign.

Alas, my quest for answers at a recent Jowhari event did not go well. The MP’s most repeated response was, “I’ve already answered those questions” (without tangibly answering any questions).

I was then ordered off the premises. I complied, standing on a public sidewalk to film my report. Apparently, Jowhari believed he was still in Tehran, not the Toronto area, and the police were called. No fewer than four York Regional Police cruisers rushed to the scene… whereupon the officers told Jowhari and his minions that it is not a crime for a journalist to practice journalism on a sidewalk… this being the Dominion of Canada, not the Islamic Republic of Iran. (A big thumbs up for the cops regarding this file.)

Still, the question arises: why is that the Justin Trudeau Liberals have such a soft spot in their hearts for terrorists and terrorism? Examples:

Canada’s homegrown Al Qaeda terrorist, Omar Khadr, was given $10.5 million, ostensibly for hurt feelings;

During his disastrous India trip, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invites along Jaspal Atwal, who is a member of an illegal Sikh separatist group and was convicted of attempted murder;

Marc Garneau suggesting last week that it is possible Canada might recognize the Taliban as the new government of Afghanistan;

Putting up with Jowhari’s pro-Iranian regime shenanigans.

Of note: the Richmond Hill riding is clearly one to watch. On election night in 2019, Conservative candidate Costas Menegakis went to bed as the victor for this riding; he woke up the next day to discover that after all the mail-in ballots had been counted, Jowhari had been reelected by a scant 112 votes.

Now the people of Richmond Hill face a choice to make in 2021: do they want to vote for a candidate that stands up for Western values? Or would they prefer to vote for a candidate who embraces the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world today?

Just recently, someone in my local area was surprised when her appointment to get the windshield on her vehicle fixed was canceled because it wasn’t possible to get a replacement windshield. This was a windshield for a very common vehicle, and normally that wouldn’t be a problem at all. But these are not normal times. Thanks to several factors that I will detail in this article, global supply chains are now under more strain than we have ever seen in the post-World War II era, and unfortunately it appears that things are going to get even worse as we approach the holiday season.

I know that most of you probably don’t want to hear that the shortages that we are experiencing now are going to get worse.

So you may be tempted to stop reading this article now because you don’t want to see the bad news.

But it is imperative that you understand what is ahead, and so I urge you to keep reading.

Let’s take this one step at a time. Right now, local news outlets all over the country are doing stories about the shortages in their local areas. Here is one example…

Have you recently gone to the grocery store and found some of the shelves empty? If so, you aren’t alone.

Many people can’t find some of their favorite and essential items since the pandemic started.

As that article points out, the stores are trying to order the products that they need.

They just can’t get them.

This is happening all across the United States, and as a result the inventory to sales ratio for U.S. retailers has been pushed to the lowest level on record…

In April, May, and June, the inventory-sales ratio of around 1.08 – or about 33 days’ supply – was at the lowest point in the data going back to 1992. In the years before the pandemic, the overall ratio was around 1.5, providing 45 days of supply.

So why is this happening?

Well, the truth is that there are several contributing factors, and one of them is fear of COVID.

When a single worker recently tested positive for COVID, China shut down one of the busiest port terminals in the entire world “indefinitely”…

One of the world’s busiest ports partially closed this week after an employee tested positive for Covid-19. The closure raises fears of new disruptions to world trade that could slow the global economy’s recovery.

Meishan, a key terminal at China’s Ningbo-Zhoushan port, closed indefinitely Wednesday after a 34-year old worker tested positive for Covid-19. A member of the board of the Ningbo Port Group Company—which operates the port—also resigned Wednesday, citing personal reasons, reported China’s Securities Daily.

This wouldn’t be such a problem if we had not become so dependent on goods from China.

Other nations are severely overreacting to outbreaks of COVID as well, and this is making it harder and harder to move goods around the world on an efficient basis.

Another major factor that we are dealing with is a historic global shipping container shortage.

The demand for shipping containers greatly exceeds the supply, and this has pushed global shipping container rates to levels we have never seen before.

One reason is that children’s well-being is tightly connected to family and community conditions such as stress and financial worries.

Particularly for children living in poverty, there are practical obstacles, like transportation and scheduling, to accessing mental health services. That’s one reason school mental health professionals — who include psychologists, counselors and social workers — are so essential.

As many kids resume instruction this fall, schools can serve as critical access points for mental health services. But the intensity of challenges students face coupled with school mental health workforce shortages is a serious concern.

An analysis of U.S. health insurance claims data reveals that in March and April 2020, mental health claims among #teens increased by 97% and 103.5% compared with the same months in 2019.

Key issues

As school psychology professors who train future school psychologists, we are used to requests by K-12 schools for potential applicants to fill their open positions. Never before have we received this volume of contacts regarding unfilled positions this close to the start of the school year.

As researchers on school mental health, we believe this shortage is a serious problem given the increase in mental health challenges, such as anxiety, gaps in social skills and grief, that schools can expect to see in returning students.

Anxiety should be expected given current COVID-related uncertainties. However, problems arise when those fears or worries prevent children from being able to complete the expected tasks of everyday life.

Meanwhile, school closures and disruptions have led to lost opportunities for students to build social skills. A McKinsey & Co. analysis found the pandemic set K-12 students back by four to five months, on average, in math and reading during the 2020-2021 school year. Learning loss also extends to social skills. These losses may be particularly profound for the youngest students, who may have missed developmental opportunities such as learning to get along with others.

And it’s important to remember the sheer number of children under 18 who have lost a loved one during the pandemic. A study published in July 2021 estimates that more than 1 out of every 1,000 children in the U.S. lost a primary caregiver due to COVID-19.

As editor of Technocracy News & Trends, I am not particularly satisfied in reporting story after story, day after day, on various aspects of the so-called Covid pandemic. Why fight the propaganda machine? Does it really matter? Aren’t other sites covering it anyway?

After replaying these questions every morning in light of Technocracy, I always come to the same conclusion:

IT’S NOT JUST A STORY, IT IS THE ONLY STORY!

This is Technocracy’s coup d’état. It specifically started on January 30, 2020 when the World Health Organization declared that COVID-19 was a pandemic, calling for emergency powers, lockdowns, social distancing, masks, vaccines, etc.

I flatly predicted this coup in 2015 in Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation. There was no way at that time to understand the means of the coup, but it was clear to me that it was coming, that it had a timetable and intention:

“When studying the progression of Nazi Germany leading up to Hitler’s assumption of complete power, I have often theorized that there was very likely a specific point in time when he realized that he had all the political, military, organizational and economic power necessary to declare himself dictator. Hitler had declared his intentions in his 1925 book, Mein Kampf, which was mostly ignored at the time because it was written by a trouble-making rabble-rouser who was serving time in jail for what he claimed were political crimes. But, Hitler had a dream and a strategy to get there, and then he embarked on implementing that strategy. In 1933, after he clawed and connived his way into power, he pulled the plug and declared himself dictator; there was nothing anyone could do about it. To oppose him meant certain death or imprisonment. His work and strategy, like moving the pieces on a chessboard, had resulted in a doomsday checkmate. My point is that it didn’t happen by accident or a even by a series of random events where one day he just woke up and thought, “I think I will announce my dictatorship after lunch today.” Rather, Hitler was certainly gathering pieces of his empire all along, analyzing and plotting his victory with excruciating detail. As the necessary assets were lined up in a row under his control, Hitler knew exactly what it would take to get to the top, and he knew that he would know when he had arrived. Well, that day arrived, and history was changed forever.

“Based on this thinking, if today’s technocrats are meticulously working toward a scientific dictatorship and applying a specific strategy to get there, wouldn’t you think that they have a specific list of criteria that must be met before “game over” can be called? Wouldn’t you think that they are comparing such a list to the actual progress they are making in the world? Wouldn’t you think that they are monitoring their progress and will recognize when the list has been fulfilled? If you can see my point here, then there are only two questions left: When that day comes, will the Technocrats have the guts to shut the old world order down and simply declare the “system” as dictator? If so, how long will it take them to act?”

Well, of course they have the guts to shut down the old world order! They have done it, haven’t they?

They have declared the “system” as dictator. Isn’t this exactly what Big Tech and Big Pharma are telling us?

So, what about all the other initiatives that Technocracy has been known for?

Those are all advancing on other fronts, but the main column – medical tyranny – is the “shock and awe” phenomenon that is sucking all the oxygen out of the room. Globally. Nationally. Locally. In the workplace. In the hospitals and clinic. In the corporate world. In churches. In neighborhoods. In families.

As such then, the pandemic and all of its surrounds is the ONLY STORY that counts right now, and that’s why Technocracy News & Trends will continue to report on it.

Toronto mayor imposes COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all city staff, condemning many to DIE from vaccine-induced blood clots

(Natural News) Toronto Mayor John Tory announced on Thursday, Aug. 19, that all city staff must be fully vaccinated for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) by Oct. 30.

In a press conference, Tory stated the delta variant was the main reason behind the policy. He also cited the fact that the majority of city employees have already been vaccinated. Tory added that his government is approaching the situation with “an unrelenting, laser-like focus.”

“This situation with the delta variant continues to be one that we must take seriously. There is simply too much at stake not to take it as seriously as we possibly can,” he said.

Employees will be required to disclose their vaccination status by Sept. 13. If an employee refuses to receive the COVID-19, they will then be required to attend mandatory education on the supposed benefits of the inoculation. After the education session, they will then be required to submit proof of their first dose by Sept. 30.

The city is also not ruling out frequent and mandatory testing of unvaccinated employees until they can provide proof of vaccination.

“Our end goal is to encourage and persuade people to get vaccinated if they haven’t already so our city workplaces, which include many public places, are as safe as possible for them and the people we serve,” Tory said.

It was not clear what would happen to the employees who would refuse the vaccine even after the education session and the deadline. “We will deal with this as you would deal with many other instances of policies the city has which are necessary to have a safe, healthy and productive workplace,” Tory said without elaborating.

The mayor insisted that the city will comply with its human rights obligations and accommodate employees with medical exemptions and those who are legally entitled to refuse the vaccine.

“But this policy will make it clear that we will not let people who don’t have a valid medical or human rights reason not to get vaccinated to put themselves, to put their co-workers, to put their entire workplace, and in some cases members of the public at risk. We just cannot afford to have that,” Tory said. Continue…

The University of Manitoba violated Rafael Zaki's Charter rights, provincial judge Ken Champagne ruled.

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (LifeSiteNews) — A provincial judge “quashed” the University of Manitoba’s decision to expel Coptic Orthodox student Rafael Zaki for publicly expressing his pro-life religious beliefs in a Facebook post in 2019.

According to the National Post, Zaki, a medical student at the University of Manitoba whose family had emigrated from Egypt over concerns of religious freedom, was dismissed from the university two years ago. His expulsion was upheld twice in 2020 by school committees, until his case was brought in front of a provincial court, which ruled in his favor.

“The decision is quashed,” provincial judge Ken Champagne said Wednesday, August 11.

Champagne, in his decision, stated that the school failed to consider Zaki’s Charter rights to freedom of expression.

The university’s Progress Committee, a collection of faculty members that review student conduct, rejected five different apologies written by Zaki claiming they “lacked sincerity” and that he hadn’t had a “change of opinion.”

The judge, who ruled that requiring Zaki to “change” his beliefs was a violation of his Charter rights, said “He would not and could not change his deeply held pro-life religious beliefs.”

In addition to violating Zaki’s Chater rights, Champagne’s decision also stated that there was a bias held toward the student by the school’s associate dean of undergraduate medical education, Dr. Ira Ripstein.

“(Zaki) describes Dr. Ripstein as serving multiple roles including investigator, prosecutor and judge. That is a fair description.”

“[Ripstein] was involved not just in the medical college’s decision to expel Zaki but also in the final decision to affirm the expulsion,” continued the judge.

“It is hardly surprising that they [the apologies] were all deemed insufficient, as the Progress Committee had already concluded Mr. Zaki should be dismissed,” Champagne concluded. Continue…

Chinese Scientists Publish “Antidote” For ADE From COVID Vaccines

There’s two new studies – one that explains how the COVID-19 vaccines are beginning to cause ADE and what is happening. The second is a proposed antidote.

So first, the original study. They’re not calling it ADE. They’re calling it, “ Antibody Dependent Auto-Attack (ADAA)”.

“Pathogenic antibodies induced by spike proteins of COVID-19 and SARS-CoV viruses”

The current study revealed the pathogenic roles and the new mechanism of action (ADAA) of certain antibodies specific to the spike proteins of coronaviruses such as the COVID-19 virus and the SARS-CoV virus (Figure 8). We had discovered that in a mouse model, pre-injection of anti-influenza immune sera induced more severe infections than the mice infected with an influenza virus alone . Wang and co-workers reported that anti-SARS-CoV spike antisera promoted SARS infection through antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE) in vitro. Liu and co-workers reported that anti-SARS-CoV spike immune sera induced by a SARS-CoV vaccine caused acute lung injury by promoting MCP1 and IL-8 production and monocyte or macrophage recruitment and accumulation in SARS-CoV infected macaque models. The previously reported mechanism of action (MOA) of these anti-spike antibodies is ADE-based, in that the antibodies enhance viral infectivity.

The Trudeau government is abandoning its quest for a court to prohibit the release of documents related to the firing of two scientists in Canada’s most secure laboratory.

He served the Federal Court with a suspension notice Tuesday afternoon.

By doing so, you are avoiding a legal confrontation over the long-standing principle that the House of Commons is supreme and has unlimited power to demand the production of any document it deems appropriate, no matter how sensitive and regardless of privacy laws. or national security.

Opposition parties joined forces earlier this year to pass a Commons order demanding that the Public Health Agency of Canada hand over all undrafted documents related to the firing of scientists Xiangguo Qiu and her husband, Keding Cheng.

The couple were escorted out of the Winnipeg National Microbiology Laboratory in July 2019 and subsequently fired last January.

The government approached Canada’s Federal Court in June to prevent disclosure of the documents, which it held would be detrimental to international relations or to national defense or national security.

However, the Commons’ order to produce the documents, along with all other business before the house, was terminated when Parliament was dissolved Sunday for a federal election.

As a result, Justice Department spokeswoman Melissa Gruber said Tuesday that “it wouldn’t do any good” to continue the court case.

Following the case would have put Liberal MP Anthony Rota in an awkward position as he campaigns for reelection in northern Ontario by mounting Nipissing-Timiskaming.

As Speaker of the House of Commons, he was the named defendant in the court case. He had vowed to fight the Liberal government’s judicial request.

In fact, in a recent presentation to the court, Rota asked him to dismiss the case, arguing that the courts do not have jurisdiction to review the exercise of the parliamentary privilege of sending for the “persons, documents and records” deemed necessary.

The executive and judicial powers do not have competence to question, invalidate, modify, control or review the exercise of this privilege by the Chamber, he added.

Gruber said the Spokesman’s motion to strike now is “unnecessary.”

Conservative leader Erin O’Toole had requested the court’s permission to intervene in the process.

Dropping the case is “another attempt by Justin Trudeau to cover up the truth about the Winnipeg lab documents,” said Mathew Clancy, spokesman for the Conservative election campaign.

The decision to drop the case puts an inconclusive end to the months-long power struggle between opposition parties and the Director of the Public Health Agency of Canada, Iain Stewart. Continue…

Alberta government slams “patently ridiculous” UN report

The Alberta government is speaking out after a United Nations report alleged that Premier Jason Kenney’s inquiry into anti-Alberta energy campaigns made violence against climate protesters possible.

The report, titled “Exercise the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association as essential to advancing climate justice” was published by the UN Secretary-General earlier this month. The document was authored by the UN’s special rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association, Clément Nyaletsossi Voule.

The report cites the Alberta government under a section on “Vilification, smear campaigns and disinformation.”

The document claims that the public inquiry launched by the Kenney government in 2019, “helped create a context” where violence and even killings against environmental activists “become justified, normalized and enabled.”

“The inquiry targeted many organizations advocating for an end to fossil fuel usage and a net zero economy. Such attacks create a chilling effect on individuals’ and groups’ ability to exercise their rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association. They also help create a context in which the physical attacks discussed above become justified, normalized and enabled,” the UN report claims, referencing a preceding section on “Physical attacks, killings and intimidation.”

The report provides no evidence to substantiate its claims that the public inquiry led to any violence or attacks against climate protesters.

Upon being presented with the report’s allegations, a spokesperson for the Alberta government told True North that the claims were “absurd.”

“The allegations in the report are patently ridiculous. Freedom of peaceful assembly is constitutionally protected in Canada – it is part of the highest law of the land in one of the world’s great liberal democracies,” said Kenney spokesperson Christine Myatt in an emailed statement.

“The same certainly cannot be said of many of the UN Human Rights Council members that commissioned this absurd report.”

UN Human Rights Council members currently include repressive and authoritarian regimes like China, Cuba, Russia and others.

On July 30, Alberta Inquiry Commissioner Steve Allan delivered his final report on anti-Alberta energy campaigns to Alberta Energy Minister Sonya Savage. The 600-page report has yet to be released to the public.

Unvaccinated candidates barred from London, Ont. election debates

Federal election candidates in London, Ontario’s four ridings must be fully vaccinated to participate in the city’s only televised debates.

According to an invitation sent to candidates the debates’ host and broadcaster, a local Rogers station, the venue at which the debates are being filmed, Aeolian Hall, has a vaccination requirement to enter the premises.

“At this time, Aeolian Hall’s policy to enter the building is that you need to be double vaccinated,” the email says. “Please let us know if you’re unable to attend based on this requirement. Aeolian Hall will operate on the honour system with vaccination status, so this means you will not need to show proof of vaccination.”

London North Centre People’s Party of Canada candidate Marc Emery, who is not vaccinated and does not plan to be, tweeted a screenshot of the invitation, saying the policy will preclude him from debating, despite being a candidate on the ballot.

“Only double Vax (sic) citizens can participate in democracy,” he wrote, vowing to protest the “outrageous apartheid” outside the venue while the debate is taking place.

“Any candidate forum or debate that attempts to bar unvaxxed candidates or citizen voters, I will not participate,” Emery tweeted. I will instead hold a boisterous 90 minute rally with bullhorns outside the doors of any venue that tries to exclude the NoVax population from attending.”

The Rogers coordinator for the debate did not respond to a request for comment. It’s not clear whether candidates unable to attend in person will be permitted to participate remotely.

A page on the Aeolian Hall’s website says all patrons must be “double vaccinated before attending a concert,” though it notes this is not required for those with medical exemptions or children 12 and under. The policy makes no reference to conscientious or religious objections to the vaccine.

A PPC candidate in the neighbouring riding of London–Fanshawe says he objects to the policy, but will still be attending under the exemption listed on the venue’s website.

“I think they are trying to purposefully exclude the PPC, but I will be attending,” said Kyle Free, who disclosed he is not yet vaccinated. “My goal is to get in and get our message out there.”

Vaccination is not mandatory for the general population in Ontario, which has thus far not implemented any vaccine passport system.

Historically, the London Rogers debates invite all registered candidates to participate. The PPC received 2.4% of the vote in London North Centre in the 2019 election.

Prior to implementing a vaccine passport system which would bar the unvaccinated from accessing non-essential services, BC provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry stated that some First Nations communities faced significant vaccine hesitancy issues.

“There are many (First Nations) communities where the all-of-community approach has meant that 100% of those in the community have been immunized but there are other communities with significant issues around confidence in the vaccine and some issues around access,” Henry told the Vancouver Sun.

“The vaccination rates are high among elders so the message now is for youth in communities that this is important to protect yourself and for elders as well.”

According to official statistics from the BC Centre for Disease Control, as of August 15, 2021, only 66.7% of Indigenous people have been fully vaccinated against the virus in the province. Meanwhile, non-Indigenous British Columbians are reporting a 75.8% fully vaccinated rate.

In response to the slow uptake of vaccines among some communities, the BC government is working with the First Nations Health Authority to further encourage vaccinations.

As reported by True North, First Nations and minority communities have some of the highest vaccine hesitancy rates in the country.

“Certain sub-groups in Canada are more likely to report COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. These include black Canadians, Indigenous peoples, newcomers, and younger adults, among others,” a Statistics Canada backgrounder claimed.

Federal data shows that black Canadians have the lowest willingness to take a vaccine (56.6%) followed by Indigenous Canadians (71.8%).

This week, Henry announced a sweeping vaccine passport system which will come into effect in September. Unvaccinated Canadians will be unable to access so-called “unessential services” like restaurants or sporting events under the regime.

Additionally, according to Henry there will be no exemptions for those who can’t be vaccinated for religious or health reasons.

Protesters chase Prime Minister Trudeau out of British Columbia event

A group of protesters heckled and jeered Prime Minister Trudeau during a campaign event in White Rock, British Columbia.

Controversy is brewing after a mainstream media reporter suggested that a protester shouted anti-Semitic remarks at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as he was leaving a campaign event in British Columbia. Abigail Bimman, a correspondent for Global News covering the Trudeau campaign, shared a video along with her comments from the event on Twitter, claiming that one protester made a comment saying “just like the dirty Jews” while the prime minister was being escorted to his vehicle.

Despite these words being unheard in the 15-second video she posted, Bimman insisted she was correct.

“Let me be clear: I heard it with my own ears. I wasn’t recording at the time. The video above was taken a few minutes later,” Bimman wrote in a followup tweet.

Rebel News' Matt Brevner was on location in White Rock, B.C. at the event and said he didn't hear or capture any such comment after reviewing footage he had.

“Folks were definitely upset,” Brevner said. “But I didn't hear any racist comments, let alone anything anti-Semitic.”

Brevner, who arrived before the event's media check in ended and was still denied access, said that only a few protesters — perhaps 10 — initially showed up. Last Saturday, two demonstrations took place in Quebec City. Over a thousand people attended the two events.

The first demonstration for the patriots was a march that began on the Plains of Abraham and it ended at the Parliament of Quebec.

The second protest was that of "Women at the Front." Both were aimed primarily at opposing the health passport.

Speeches took place, as well as other performances of all kinds. It was an emotional day for many in attendance.

I got to ask people about what they think of Justin Trudeau's desire to impose that the unvaccinated cannot enter trains and planes.

I also asked people what their plans would be if the vaccine becomes mandatory and if they believe that the election will change the current situation.

Conservative media outlet Free West Media says new relations between the Taliban and China could increase its global dominance in green energies, such as the lithium-ion battery supply chain market.

Unbeknownst to many, the blog points China and Afghanistan share a 130-mile stretch border. For more on this, here's Free West Media's latest piece titled "Taliban now control one of the world's largest lithium deposits."

A Bloomberg New Energy Finance Limited report in 2020 highlighted China's global dominance in the lithium-ion battery supply chain market, due to its grip on raw material mining and refining. In 2019, the US imported 80 percent of its rare earth minerals from China, while the EU states imported 98 percent of these materials from China.

China incidentally also shares a small border with Afghanistan called the Wakhan Corridor – 210km long. While the length of the border may appear insignificant, its location is crucial. Afghanistan is believed to have large deposits of gold, iron, copper, zinc, lithium and other rare-earth metals, valued at over $1 trillion. "Afghanistan may hold 60 million metric tons of copper, 2,2 billion tons of iron ore, 1,4 million tons of rare earth elements (REEs) such as lanthanum, cerium, neodymium, and veins of aluminium, gold, silver, zinc, mercury…" according to a 2020 report in The Diplomat.

But the Wakhan Corridor has been used by Islamic Uighur militants opposed to Chinese rule in Xinjiang. Chinese officials meeting with the newly installed Taliban are certainly aware of the risk that radical Islamists pose: "We hope the Afghan Taliban will make a clean break with all terrorist organisations including ETIM (East Turkestan Islamic Movement) and resolutely and effectively combat them to remove obstacles, play a positive role and create enabling conditions for security, stability, development and cooperation in the region," said a high-ranking Chinese official.

Copenhagen Is Officially The World's 'Safest City'

The Economist Intelligence Unit has published its 2021 Safe Cities Index, ranking 60 major global cities across 76 indicators based on digital, health, infrastructure, environmental and personal security.

Copenhagen tops the rankings this year with a score of 82.4 out of 100.

According to the report, "every one of the leading cities overall has a more pronounced relative weak spot. Copenhagen, for example, comes 26th for health security". The Danish capital does however also place first for personal security.

Cities in the Asia-Pacific region dominate the top-10 with Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Hong Kong and Melbourne all present.

While American cities generally lag behind, they perform well in one key area: digital security. Los Angeles and San Francisco make the top-5 in that category, and perhaps surprisingly Chicago comes 20th overall…

At the other end of the scale, Yangon (Myanmar) , Karachi (Pakistan), and Caracas (Venezuela) ranked the least safest cities in the world…

The least safe cities were dominated by very low scores in health security, infrastructure, and personal security.

Interestingly, Kabul is not the list.

Vaccine Mandates & The "Great Reset"

Pressure on the unvaccinated grows. While the vaccinated in some countries are getting back some of their freedoms taken away by the covid interventions, the unvaccinated are not so well off. They are being targeted for discrimination. Access to public spaces and traveling is being made more difficult for them. In some countries there is even mandatory vaccination for some professions.

But why is the vaccination campaign so important to governments that they are increasing the pressure to such an extent? And who has an interest in the global vaccination campaign?

To answer these questions, it is necessary to analyze the prevalent vaccination narrative and ask who benefits from it.

In doing so, the alliance of interests between the state, the media, the pharmaceutical industry, and supranational institutions must be addressed.

Let us start with the pharmaceutical industry.

It has an obvious economic interest in the vaccination campaign. It makes enormous profits from widespread vaccination.

What about the state?

In the covid-19 crisis, politicians have systematically amplified fear and hysteria. This was no accident and is unsurprising, for the state builds its raison d'être on the argument that it protects the population from internal and external dangers. The state is built upon fear. The narrative is that without the help of the state, the citizen would be defenseless against hunger, poverty, accidents, war, terrorism, disease, natural disasters, and pandemics. It is, therefore, in the state's interest to instill fear of possible dangers, which it then pretends to resolve, expanding its power in the process. A relatively recent example is the restriction of civil liberties in the US in response to the threat of terrorism after the 9-11 attacks and the second Iraq war. Similarly, it was in the interest of governments to purposefully instill fear and portray covid-19 as a unique killer virus in order to expand state power to an extent unknown in peacetime at the expense of citizens' fundamental rights.

When the corona crisis started and not much was known about the virus's potential danger politicians were faced with an asymmetric payoff. If politicians underestimate a danger and do not react, they are held responsible for the underestimation. They lose elections and power. Especially if they can be blamed for deaths. Photos of mass burials aside, the consequences of underestimating danger and failing to act are politically fatal. In contrast, overestimating the danger and taking decisive action are politically much more attractive.

If it really is an unprecedented threat, politicians are celebrated for their tough measures such as lockdowns. And politicians can always argue that without their decisive action, there would indeed have been a disaster. If the measures ultimately turn out to have been exaggerated because the hazard was not so great after all, the possible negative consequences of the measures are not as directly associated with the politicians as the photos of mass burials, because these consequences are more indirect and long term. The indirect and long-term health costs of lockdowns include suicides, depression, alcoholism, stress-related illnesses, earlier deaths from canceled surgeries and screenings, and a generally lower standard of living. However, these costs are not directly associated with the drastic interventions and blamed on the policy. Many of these consequences will occur after the next elections or even later and are not visible. For instance, we cannot observe to what extent a higher standard of living would have increased life expectancy. And if someone dies six years from now from alcoholism or depression developed in the wake of lockdowns, most people probably will not make the lockdown politicians responsible, and if they do, these politicians will possibly already be out of office. Thus, it is in the interest of politicians to overestimate a threat and overreact.

In order to justify and defend the harsh measures such as lockdowns that are so attractive to politicians, it is necessary to stir up fear. When politicians stoked fear and hysteria during the covid-19 crisis, implementing highly restrictive measures such as lockdowns, the damage to the economy and social fabric was immense. Yet a society cannot be cannot be locked down forever, as the costs keep rising. At some point, it must exit lockdown and return to some normality. However, how can one at the same time stir up fear of the threat of a killer virus and return to normalcy?

Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray Reduces Covid-19 Viral Load By 95% Within 24 Hours: Study

A well known antimicrobial, Nitric Oxide, has been found to rapidly reduce SARS-CoV-2 viral load, knocking it down by 95% within 24 hours, and 99% within 72 hours, according to a recent study by researchers funded by England's NHS foundation trust and SaNOtize Research & Development Corporation - a Canadian biotech company currently conducting Phase II trials of a nitric oxide nasal spray.

A group of 80 adults (18-70 years) with confirmed (Alpha strain) Covid-19 infections were divided into two groups, with half receiving nitric oxide nasal spray (NONS) that were self-administered 5-6 times daily for 9 days.

The goal of the nasal spray is to kill the virus present in the upper airways - preventing it from incubating and making its way to the lungs.

The study found that mean viral load was significantly lower in the NONS group by a factor of 16.2, in what the study's authors described as an "accelerated decrease," while nearly half of those who completed a post-study questionnaire reported feeling better vs. 8% of the placebo group.

Mean SARS-CoV-2 RNA concentration was lower on NONS by a factor of 16.2 at days 2 and 4. A rapid reduction (95%) in the SARS-CoV-2 viral load was observed within 24 hours, with a 99% reduction observed within 72 hours with NONS treatments. -Clinical efficacy of nitric oxide nasal spray (NONS) for the treatment of mild COVID-19 infection.

What's more, there were no serious adverse reactions from the nasal spray.

"Treatment with NONS in this trial was found to be effective and safe in reducing the viral load in patients with mild, symptomatic COVID-19 infection," reads the study. "Patients in the NONS treatment arm demonstrated viral loads, as determined from PCR testing of nose and throat swab sampling, that were lower at days 2 and 4 by a factor of 16.2 than those on placebo, and symptom resolution was also found to be faster on NONS treatment than on placebo in this study."

Lower SARS-CoV-2 RNA loads in patients with NONS may be beneficial in the prevention of SARS-CoV-2 transmission. It has been described that higher viral loads in patients with SARS-CoV-2 earlier than SARS-CoV may have contributed to greater difficulties in reducing the onward transmission. Furthermore, it has been observed that the risk of symptomatic COVID-19 was associated with the SARS-CoV-2 RNA levels of contacts and incubation time was shortened in a dose-dependent manner.

Accelerated SARS-CoV-2 clearance with NONS may reduce symptom duration, decrease infectivity period, reduce hospital admissions, and lower disease severity. Consequently, this study could be used as supporting evidence for emergency use of NONS for patients with mild COVID-19 infection.

According to SaNOtize, researchers from Utah State University were able to kill 99.9% of SARS-CoV-2 in a petri dish within two minutes.

The company, whose board includes Prof. Ferid Murad of Stanford University - who won the Nobel Prize in 1998 for discovering the properties of nitric oxide, signed an agreement with Indian biotech Glenmark earlier this month to manufacture, market and distribute NONS throughout Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia Hong Kong, Taiwan, Nepal, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste and Vietnam.

According to SaNOtize Chief Science Officer, Dr. Chris Miller, the nasal spray is a 'post-exposure' prevention akin to hand sanitizer.

"If you are outside, around people, and could be infected, you could use the spray and reduce the number of viruses in the nose, before it is becoming a full-blown infection. We have shown that even when people have a very high load of virus, the spray can significantly reduce the viral load," Miller said in May.

Conservative leader Erin O’Toole says flags at government buildings should be restored to full-mast, asserting that committing to reconciliation need not come at the expense of celebrating Canada.

Canadian flags have been at half-mast nation-wide for nearly three months after Justin Trudeau ordered them lowered following the announcement of unmarked graves at a former residential school near Kamloops, BC.

At a press conference Thursday afternoon in Ottawa, O’Toole said he is committed to Indigenous reconciliation, but added the time has come to raise the Canadian flag.

“I do think we should be proud to put our flag back up,” O’Toole said.

“It’s not a time to tear down Canada. It’s a time to recommit to build it to be the country we know it can be. Reconciliation is very important and should be important to all Canadians. You need to use that day to recommit to the path of reconciliation.”

The Government of Canada has a standing half-mast order for flags at all government buildings in Canada, including the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill, to mark “discovery of remains at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School.”

The order is in effect “until further notice.”

The flags were initially lowered May 30, and remained at half-mast on Canada Day July 1.

The Liberal government paid the Canadian Press (CP) $2 million in taxpayer funding over the past year.

According to Blacklock’s Reporter, the company was paid $1.6 million through a sole-sourced federal contract and an additional $100,000 in federal grants.

A 2020 letter from the company’s President, Malcolm Kirk, explained to the House of Commons finance committee that Canadian Press was seeking taxpayer funds to “to fully offset subscription fees paid by CP’s media clients.”

Kirk sought “instant relief” and “flexibility to extend the funding depending on the duration and economic fallout related to the COVID-19 crisis.”

“We have already received numerous calls from clients who worry they will not survive through this crisis to serve their communities and have asked for fee holidays,” wrote Kirk.

“CP itself is not in a financial position to defer revenue and maintain its staffing levels to ensure the coverage it currently provides.”

Meanwhile, the Canadian Press has been acting as a “truth-tester” verifying claims by Canadian politicians.

As reported by True North, a recent “truth test” by the outlet was found to be heavily biased and lacking an objective approach to Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole’s views on universal healthcare.

“The Truth Test is a project of the Canadian Press that examines the accuracy of statements made by politicians,” claimed the company.

“Each claim is researched and analyzed to provide Canadians with facts instead of spin.”

The article contained only perspectives from universal public health-care advocates and failed to offer an objective analysis of O’Toole’s claims.

Based on two expert opinions, the Canadian Press concludes in their article that O’Toole “has not explained” his healthcare policy, despite the fact that the Conservative Party platform dedicates a significant portion to healthcare commitments.

An unknown number of Canadians and their families remain trapped in Afghanistan following the end of Canada’s military mission.

On Thursday, Global Affairs Canada sent an email telling citizens that the Canadian evacuation effort in Afghanistan had officially ended and no more evacuation flights were coming. Canadians were instructed to “shelter in place.”

On the same day, two explosions in the Kabul airport resulted in many casualties and killed four US Marines. Citizens had been warned not to approach the airport as an attack by the Islamic State had been anticipated.

Canadians in Afghanistan had previously received urgent emails from Global Affairs Canada on August 24, urging them to go to hotels for evacuation. The bungled evacuation effort left some Canadians vulnerable on the streets of Kabul, waiting for Canadian Officials who never showed up. Others were turned away by US troops or beaten by the Taliban.

Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan had initially stated that all Canadians were “safely on their way back to Canada,” but a Twitter post by the department urging Canadians in Afghanistan to return home later revealed that many citizens had been left behind.

Evacuation aboard military flights began on August 4 when a Canadian Armed Forces aircraft landed in Toronto with approximately 40 passengers onboard. Afghan refugees thought to be local workers at the Kabul Embassy filled most of the plane. It remains unclear as to why diplomats did not evacuate all citizens at that time.

Afghanistan’s collapse did not come as a surprise to the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, which predicted the situation currently unravelling in a 2019 report titled Afghanistan: The Precarious Struggle For Stability.

“Many Afghans who can leave are doing so,” read the report. “Many believe that if the economy, stability and human rights did not improve after almost eighteen years of foreign attention, there is little hope for Afghanistan after abandonment by the US and its allies.”

The Intelligence Service warned that “Afghanistan’s army is undertrained, crippled by corrupt suppliers and no match for the Taliban without US support. Much depends on how long US forces remain in Afghanistan. If the US reached a clearer agreement with the Taliban and then withdrew before a final agreement on a transitional government was concluded, the government of Afghanistan could collapse quickly…”

“An early withdrawal of US forces could result in a new Taliban offensive and the end of the current regime.”

Critics of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claim his government has bungled the Afghanistan crisis by failing to evacuate Canadian citizens, diplomatic staff and Afghan nationals who helped Canada’s military in a timely manner and taking a soft approach with the Taliban.

Trudeau was forced to clarify the government’s position on the Taliban after Liberal Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau did not rule out the possibility of recognizing the terrorist group as the legitimate government in Afghanistan.

On Wednesday, women and gender equality minister Maryam Monsef referred to the Taliban as “our brothers.” When asked about her word choice, Monsef said it was a cultural reference.

A recent poll by Nanos found that the Conservatives are narrowly leading over the Liberals when it comes to voting preferences among Canadians.

The August 25, 2021 telephone survey found that the Conservatives are polling nationally at 34.4% while the Liberals are trailing behind at 33.6%.

Meanwhile, the NDP is sitting at 18.9% nationally, followed by the Bloc Québécois which is polling at 5.3%, the Green Party which is at 4.3% and the PPC which currently sits at 3.1%.

According to Nanos, the poll surveyed 1,200 eligible voters and a similar survey would have a margin of error of ±2.8 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.

The Conservatives are gaining ground as Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau struggles to gain traction in the early weeks of the election campaign.

According to another recent poll published by EKOS Politics, the Conservatives have been closing in on the Liberals since last week.

Their poll, which was conducted between August 15th and 18th had the Conservatives sitting only one point behind the Liberals at the time.

Trudeau has faced several challenges on the early campaign trail including a number of gaffes and federal inaction on the evolving crisis in Afghanistan.

Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole recently accused the Liberals of being slow to act when it comes to evacuating people from the region.

“We were calling for action to get people out, to work with our allies. We’ve been demanding this for months and, in some cases, years. The Trudeau government has failed to act and they have abandoned people on the ground in Afghanistan,” O’Toole told reporters on Thursday.

Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole wrote to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to warn him about the looming crisis in Afghanistan in July, prior to Trudeau calling the federal election.

On Thursday, O’Toole tweeted a copy of the letter he wrote to Trudeau on July 22, 2021.

“The withdrawal of American military forces and NATO partners in Afghanistan have given rise to a sharp increase in Taliban activity in certain provinces,” read the letter.

In the letter, O’Toole was particularly concerned about Afghan interpreters who assisted the Canadian Armed Forces during Canada’s mission in the country.

“As Afghan interpreters plead for assistance from your government to flee from these threats of danger, your government remains silent,” O’Toole wrote.

“Members of the Canadian Armed Forces who served alongside these Afghan interpreters are pleading for your government to listen to their calls. We must do the right thing and support them at a time when they need us most.”

On Thursday, O’Toole said Trudeau “wasted months with inaction” and called an election in the middle of the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. “The Trudeau government failed to act, and they have abandoned people on the ground,” O’Toole said.

Trudeau defended his government’s reaction to the crisis during a campaign stop in Quebec on Thursday.

“We have been working day and night over the past months, past weeks to get as many people out as possible. So I understand the heartbreak to those who were not able to get out as the temporary air bridge is closing,” Trudeau said.

“We will continue to work with partners, with allies, with regional partners to make sure we’re continuing to do everything we can both to bring tens of thousands of Afghans with their families to Canada, but also to keep putting pressure on the Taliban to ensure that people can leave Afghanistan.”

Critics of Trudeau argued that his decision to call a snap election was unnecessary and was an attempt to gain a majority government.

In a recent poll by Leger, 62% of Canadians described the 2021 election as a “power grab” by Trudeau and 69% of Canadians believe that the “election could have waited until next year or later.”

Following the end of Canada’s military mission in Afghanistan on Thursday, an unknown number of Canadians and their families remain trapped in the country.

Global Affairs Canada sent an email telling citizens that the Canadian evacuation effort in Afghanistan had officially ended and no more evacuation flights were coming. Canadians were instructed to “shelter in place.”

The withdrawal from Afghanistan has been an unmitigated disaster. The day Kabul fell back into the hands of the Taliban, Justin Trudeau called an election.

The Biden administration’s catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan has cemented his legacy as a failed president.

Many Democrats and Republicans alike share a non-interventionalist mentality when it comes to the Middle East, but no one aside from the most stilted of cheerleaders is applauding how the withdrawal was managed. Afghanistan has been set back twenty years, in many ways they are worse off because the Taliban is now more equipped than ever thanks to the reckless abandoning of weapons caches throughout the region.

The cost in human suffering is terrible and multi-faceted. Not only are men, women and children alike now subject to a terrorist regime that is actively carrying out indescribable horrors, but the soldiers and Afghani allies who paid a heavy price, often with lives and limbs, are witnessing the hard-earned freedom of the people evaporate, as though their sacrifices meant nothing.

A great deal of criticism has been levied against a befogged Joe Biden, even in the often Democrat-sympathetic mainstream media in Canada, but there has not been nearly enough said about Justin Trudeau’s failure to honour and protect those in Afghanistan who risked everything to support Canadian efforts in the region. Many have simply been left to the mercy, or lack thereof, of the Taliban.

Worse still, the Liberal government has publicly opted for a wait-and-see mentality when it comes to answering whether they would acknowledge Taliban rule. Anything less than a categorical refusal to accept the legitimacy of Taliban rule is offensive and a direct affront to those who have died fighting the Taliban, and to those who will die under their rule. Maryam Monsef, Minister for Women and Gender Equality, even publicly called the Taliban “our brothers.”

In a sane world, these Taliban-sympathetic remarks would be enough to unseat any government, and they may very well be, but Justin Trudeau’s failure to honour our allies has to date not been a major election issue. It should be.

Rosemary Frei joins Tamara Ugolini of Rebel News to discuss a new COVID resource guide by Nathan Stall, who resigned from the Ontario Science Table in early August to seek a Liberal nomination.

The Ministry of Long Term Care has put out a directive for all Long Term Care home licensees to implement a COVID-19 immunization policy and they provide a Resource Guide to facilitate it.

In this interview with freelance medical writer and investigative journalist, Rosemary Frei, who has a Master of Science in molecular biology, we discuss the directive that she found and its implications surrounding informed consent.

The directive outlines that staff, students and volunteers have to provide proof of either vaccination, a medical exemption note signed by a physician or registered nurse or provide proof that they have completed an educational session. This directive is meant to ensure that individuals make an informed choice around the experimental COVID injection.

Rosemary and I discuss the educational video suggested in the resource guide by Nathan Stall, who resigned from the Ontario Science Table in early August to seek a Liberal nomination. I then continue to look into some of the players helping to develop the content of Stall’s video.

Alberta appoints first-ever chief firearms officer

The province appointed Teri Bryant, longtime secretary of the Alberta Arms and Cartridge Collectors Association to the new role.

Alberta has its first official chief firearms officer according to a news release from the province's United Conservative Party government.

Teri Bryant, who has served the past 16 years as the secretary of the Alberta Arms and Cartridge Collectors Association, was awarded the newly-created position designed to oversee “licensing eligibility, compliance with legislation, overseeing the administration of firearms safety courses and other duties that previously fell to the federal government.”

“I am delighted to welcome the province’s first-ever designated chief firearms officer,” Justice Minister Kaycee Madu said. “I know she will be promoting a system of firearms administration in this province that is rooted in the values and priorities of Albertans, and will fight hard for the legitimate rights of Alberta’s lawful gun owners.”

The new office is being created in response to the Fair Deal Panel report, along with telephone town hall meetings and a public survey that was conducted by the Alberta Firearms Advisory Committee.

Bryant, a former member of the Alberta Firearms Advisory Committee, is expected to demonstrate that public safety and an expanding firearms community are compatible goals, with an eye toward preserving for future generations “a firearms heritage that reflects Alberta's values of safety, responsibility and respect for individual rights,” the statement said.

“As a lifelong firearms collector and enthusiast, I could not be more excited for this opportunity to represent Albertans and stand up for our province’s way of life and lawful firearms culture,” Bryant was quote as saying, adding that she “cannot wait to meet with other passionate Albertans with Minister Madu on our tour to find out how we can get a fair deal for Albertans.”

Madu and Bryant are expected to tour the province's shooting ranges at some point this year in an effort to connect with Albertan firearms owners.

The federal Firearms Act offers provinces the choice to opt-in to administer the Canadian Firearms Program through a provincial chief firearms officer. Following decision to opt-in, Alberta now joins Ontario, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in transitioning to this form of governance.

Data provided showed that as of December 31, 2019, there were more than 325,000 licensed firearms owners in Alberta.
