I've been wondering too.
I think the reason they picked this venue in a place like Sioux City is, less chance for fuckery. The power won't mysteriously go out, or the comms connections go down, can't fake a gas leak or explosion, etc.
They may yet think of something to disrupt it. I guess they could crash a plane into it maybe. How desperate will they get I wonder.
