100% agreed. And furthermore , if the Constitution WERE enforced we probably would not NEED an internet bill of rights. Just a SCOTUS ruling that recognized internet communications are identical to our "papers" over which we have the right of privacy.

So I'm thinking that we should have a thread that talks about solutions. I posted the below in a previous bread, and I'm posting once more (only once, I promise) because i would like to get other opinions.

So here goes:

I'm looking to start a discussion of how to fix our internet issues. I'll start-

1 Get rid of Citizens United

2 Reinstate the Smith-Mundt Act

3 Configure internet and social media as public utilities that are

3a required to uphold the 1st and 4th Amendments
