I just had a thought during that.
What if the reason why Hollywood style celebs always try to turn the Star Spangled Banner into their own freestyle session is because they want to make it harder to sing along with and thus harder to embrace in the message of our Founding?
To add, by turning the Star Spangled Banner into their own "look at my singing skills" moment, they not only make it harder to sing along with and thus decrease the sense of participation, but they also make the listeners feel like they're inferior, and thus they shouldn't try to sing because they couldn't match the "majesty" (fake) of the celebrity singer, thus making the listener feel detached from the glory of the anthem and thus the glory of their very own home! Sick!
I had this thought because, yesterday, I was thinking "Wow, this guy is singing the anthem very plainly!"
But this time around, I thought… "What if he's singing it plainly for a reason?"
And then like a lightbulb, I had that realization like a blinding flash of truth!

What I'm saying that Lady Gaga and celebritiies are narcissists who took Satan's deal "do my bidding and I'll give you all the power and fame you want."
Part of that bidding is getting the "sheep" to not care about their nation and the bond they made together in order to build their country.
It's not that=I= feel inferior, like it's an ego thing and I can't sing along.
It's that Lady Gaga and celebrity singers are TRYING to get people detached from the glory of our Nation and TRYING to get people feeling like the Anthem is something far and distant from them!
