Far Left Wisconsin Governor Tells Counties to Ignore Subpoenas for House Audits

Far left Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers vetoed a series of ballot security initiatives in the Badger State on Tuesday. Evers also told two counties to ignore subpoenas from the GOP-controlled legislature.
On Friday Wisconsin’s House Election Committee Chairman Janelle Brandtjen issued subpoenas to Brown and Milwaukee Counties.
Wisconsin’s Democratic Gov. Tony Evers vetoed a series of six election security bills Tuesday sent to his desk by the state’s GOP-controlled legislature.
Republicans do not have the votes to override Evers’ veto, as no Democrats supported the legislation in June.

Sen. Joe Manchin on Wednesday morning said he has “serious concerns” about his party’s massive $3.5 trillion spending plan, signaling that he may intend to block much of the package supported by President Biden over inflation and debt concerns.
“Early this morning, I voted ‘YES’ on a procedural vote to move forward on the budget reconciliation process because I believe it is important to discuss the fiscal policy future of this country,” Manchin, D-W.Va., said in a statement.

Manchin is not the first moderate Democrat to express qualms about the massive spending plan that is being championed by Senate Budget Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., said last month, “while I will support beginning this process [of budget reconciliation], I do not support a bill that costs $3.5 trillion.”
