In my city, we test the emergency sirens system (ie tornado) every Monday at noon. They started to go off and then abruptly stopped. From my location, I can usually hear the one nearest me start and go for a minute and stop, followed by two or three others that sound and stop. Today I only heard my own for a couple of seconds and none following. I thought this was interesting considering the nationwide test that will be coming up in a little over an hour.
