I understand what you're saying. I think if it gets to the point of me "following those rules," then the USA is gone already and nothing is left worth saving. It will be survival at that point.
I've been listening to the Bible lately. There is an incredible amount of death and destruction, raping and pillaging by the people of the old testament who were told "Thou shalt not kill" and "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods/wife".
Trying to resolve that. Is that Man's law written as if it were God's law?
I mean, those people were held up as exemplars, but clearly only Jesus was able to fulfill God's law. And I know we are to aspire to that, but we will all fall short.
