I'm in a big university hospital. They are back on visitor restricted. ace is packed with patients in every part of the hospital, but there is only one person at each check in desk, labs, EKG, cardiology, etc. It is leading to long waits & delays. I have never seen this before.

Same with the hospital I was at. There was 1 nurse for the entire ER. She told me the hospital refuses to staff it properly. My guess is, they lost a lot of money during the "pandemic" so they're making it up by cutting payroll.

According to the nurse I talked to, the nurse shortage story is not true. They have plenty of nurses willing to work, they just don't put them on. Not sure what other stories you mean.

That's hospital Admin. OCare expanded Medicare reimbursement line items for hospitals from ~440,000 to over 950,000. Each one available for slots allotted by the HHS Secretary "shall", as in slot for sale via donation, a Chicago style management tool.
