The OSS is what ultimately became the CIA. However, the C_A implies either a modification to the CIA or that the intelligence is missing from the CIA. Given the transfer of MB operatives to the OSS just prior to the formation of the CIA and the close association of the fledgling CIA with British imperial doctrine (MB stashed in SA after being banned in Egypt and developed for Op Cyclone bankrolled by Thatcher)…
