When a person joins the military, they give up their civilian rights. The military owns them and can dictate every aspect of their lives. There are no Unions in the military.
You would think that, but that is not the way it is. The military uses the UCMJ. When a person joins the military, they sign away their civilian rights.
Someone in the military can be put in jail for doing things that a civilian might only get fired from their job for doing.
The military owns every aspect of a soldier's life 24/7/365 until their enlistment ends.
Get put into a military prison, they will own you until your prison sentence is over.
Maybe this is why "the military is the only way"
If the military tries a person for treason, they play by a whole different set of rules.
