BEIJING, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Ports and shipping companies are diverting vessels from a container terminal in China's busiest marine transportation hub which was forced to close after a coronavirus case emerged, as the pandemic strains global supply amid rising retail orders.

Meidong container terminal in eastern Ningbo suspended operations on Wednesday after a COVID-19 case was detected, while nearby Shanghai also recorded the worst congestion in at least three years.

On Friday, 37 vessels were waiting to call at Ningbo and 26 vessels queuing for Shanghai, slightly down from 39 and 29, respectively, on Thursday, Refinitiv data showed.

They literally want to steal your shit

https://www.gilmorehealth.com/anti-aging-could-a-fecal-transplant-from-a-young-subject-reverse-aging/

Transplanting the fecal microbiota from a young mouse into an old mouse appears to “restore” some of the mouse’s abilities and reverse some aging deficits.

This finding is based on the transplantation of the fecal microbiota. The donors were mice aged 3 to 4 months or 19 to 20 months, and the recipients were systematically aged 19 to 20 months. The effect was only seen when the fecal microbiota of young mice was used. The authors write that they “reversed age-related differences” in some aspects of immunity, but also reduced age-related cognitive impairment.

“Previous studies have shown that the gut microbiome plays an important role in aging and the aging process,” says study co-author John Cryan. This new study may be a breakthrough, as we have discovered that the microbiome can also be used to prevent age-related brain decline. We are also seeing evidence of improved learning abilities and cognitive function.

civic group, my ass

A South Korean civic group has sued the Fort Detrick biological laboratory and the U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) over the smuggled toxic substances to U.S. military bases here in violation of domestic law.

According to the Busan District Court website, Kim Hyun-joong, chairman of the Korea Fire Safety Education Culture Association (KFSECA), filed a complaint with the court in the country's southeast port city of Busan on Monday against the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases in Fort Detrick, Maryland, and the USFK commander Paul LaCamera.

The civic association reportedly held a plenary meeting last Monday to denounce the barbaric behavior of the USFK, which continued to illegally bring in toxic materials that can be fatal to the lives and security of people in the nation.

It claimed that the USFK and the Fort Detrick biolab violated the South Korean law and imported toxic substances into the country three times between 2017 and 2019.
