What are you asking about, anon? That's my board and, yes, you can go there.
Okay, I just went there. I think the instructions are clear enough. Follow the installation procedure. After you're done, replace the default copy of Alleycat Player with the latest version which I have indicated is version 4h.
You've lost me. 5 different what? I'm not counting 5 of anything.
You want the file called "alleycat-player-v4h.htm" under HTML.
What is js? You should have a folder dedicated to this. The folder should be separate from wherever you installed node.js (I assume you installed that).
I see three copies of the DASH player, a file called "alleycat.txt" which is not a downloadable file and something totally unrelated. Junk that. Can you search for the file "node.exe" to see if you installed Node.js somewhere?
It was never installed? Or you deleted the original install. Whatever. Once you have it installed, put the alleycat files in a separate folder. Do not put anything inside the Node.js folder.
I see. You installed Node.js in a folder called nodejs. Fine. Do not install again.
I don't know what to infer from your screenshot.
Can you open the folder called "nodejs"?
No. He is a psychopath. (((They))) all are. Not to mention that they are baby-eaters and other demonic stuff.
They were picked and groomed before they even knew what their destiny would be.
The file "node.exe" is not there. What about other folder called "nodejs"?
Okay, that's the one you want. Delete the other one. Now make a shortcut to "node.exe".
I have time. Why is your computer super slow?
Mine is 15 years old and seems fast enough.
> I love using your creation 'alleycat' with 8kun
Are you referring to the Bread Launcher?
-
Make a new folder. Doesn't matter where but you will need the full path for the shortcut.
-
Extract the contents of the zip file from the download site (installation-v1.zip).
-
Delete "alleycat-player.htm" and "kraker.js".
-
Download "alleycat-player-v4h.htm" and "kraker-3a.js" (these files can be renamed if you want).
The only thing to do after that is to finish setting up the shortcut.
Flurry of messages there. I was busy posting a meme.
Just call the folder "shithead" or something short like that. Why do you want to mess with long name with spaces?
Right click to download.
Actually, the site puts a little download icon beside the file name.
Do NOT put anything inside of "nodejs". Leave that alone from now on.
Everything should go in "shithead".
That's fine but you didn't extract the zip file yet.
You have dynamic IP. Kek. Sometimes it changes on the fly. Had that happen to me in the middle of a Quake match. WTF? Where did my game go?
Anyway, looks good. Now you need to set up the shortcut. Right-click on the icon and select "Properties". Set the following:
Target: <pathkraker-3a.js
Start in: <path to shithead>
The <pathshould already be there in "Target". Just add a space and the name "kraker-3a.js" (you can rename the file to kraker.js if you prefer).
Move the double-quote to the end of the path name. That is, before the space and "kraker.js".
This is why I installed node.js at "c:\stuff\nodejs". Short and no space in the path name.
Now you are missing the space before "kraker" and there is a double-quote at the end of the string.
My God, man. Add a space in front of "kraker" and NO quotes at the end.
"C:\Program Files\nodejs\node.exe" kraker-3a.js
Try again.
Now the other one.
Hang on. It looks like you have a single-quote at the beginning of the path name. Change that to a double-quote.
Open the folder. You should see the full path name in the title bar.
Looks like it.
If there's a space in there, you will need double-quotes else it is fine without quotes.
Double-click the icon. The proxy server should start.
You're in the wrong bread, anon. Go forth and meme elsewhere.
You didn't get the actual path name. What's with all the spaces?
Well, there's no way for me to verify the path name then.
Bingo.
http://localhost:8080/alleycat-player-v4h.htm
I would recommend that you change the name to simply "alleycat-player.htm". Easier to remember. Personally, I set my home page to that.
Patience, anon. We should test some things.
Don't bother renaming if you don't want to use Alleycat Player in the future.
Okay. You don't need to keep posting screenshots.
Try playing a music station. I'm listening to "Entranced FM" right now. Pretty cool.
Click around to check for problems.
Getting there.
Working fine for me but whatever. Click "Info" below the audio bar. After that, click one of the stack buttons (for example, Stack 3) and try to play a video.
It shouldn't be busy for more than a second or two.
Shit. Can you screenshot the proxy server console?
Proxy server. You screenshotted it earlier.
Did you close the server? Or did it crash?
Did you close the server?
If the server crashed then you should restart it.
What happened? Did you restart the server?
Why do you have Youtube embedded? Please try it with Wrapper selected instead of Sandbox.
