Canada to require COVID vaccines for air, train and ship travelers

The Canadian government announced Friday that commercial airline travelers will soon need to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The sweeping mandate, which also includes passengers on cruise ships and interprovincial trains, will go into effect “[a]s soon as possible in the fall and no later than the end of October,” Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said in a statement.

Alghabra added that those working in “the federally regulated air, rail, and marine transportation sectors” would face the same requirement, while other federal government employees would need to be vaccinated as early as the end of September.

The government also said it “expects” so-called Crown corporations — like the Bank of Canada, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Canada Post — to mandate vaccinations for their employees and promised to “work with these employers to ensure this result.”

Canada’s federal government is the country’s largest employer, with more than 1.2 million workers.

“After months and months of deploying these vaccines literally into millions of Canadian arms, we see how effective they are. We also see what other workplaces and other public service agencies around the world have done,” Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc told reporters. “It is very much a continuation of our government’s efforts to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to protect the health and safety of Canadians.”

Canada has one of the highest vaccination rates in the world, with more than 81 percent of its population aged 12 and up having received at least one dose and 71.5 percent considered fully vaccinated, according to data from CTV News.

However, despite the success of Canada’s vaccine drive, Alghabra said there was room for improvement.

“We need to reach as many Canadians as we possibly can,” the minister said. Cases are starting to creep up again in what Canada’s top health official dubbed a fourth wave this week.

Canada opened its border to fully vaccinated Americans Monday, 17 months after the frontier was shut to non-essential travel in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, and planned to reopen to visitors from around the world Sept. 7

By contrast, the Biden administration has said it will keep its side of the US-Canada border closed until at least Aug. 21.

Air Canada, the country’s largest airline, called the vaccine mandate “a welcome step forward in the evolving measures to protect the health and safety of airline employees, customers and all Canadians.”

Broward County Mandates Vaccines For Poll Workers

The Most Important Story You Will Read Today

Broward County Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott said in a letter to potential 2021 special election poll workers that they must show proof of vaccination. Patriots are challenging Joe Scott’s authority to unilaterally make such a decision. Scott told people in the letter “Please bring evidence of your inoculation against COVID-19 (two doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine), with you to your upcoming training class.” Here is the tyrannical letter obtained by patriot philanthropist Chris Nelson:

Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna Poised to Make Billions on COVID-19 Boosters

Moderna and the Pfizer-BioNTech alliance could reap billions from COVID-19 booster shots in the coming years, in what analysts and investors say could be a market comparable to the $6 billion in annual sales for flu vaccines.

Pfizer, its German partner BioNTech, and Moderna have together locked in over $60 billion in sales of their respective COVID-19 vaccines through 2022, with the agreements covering initial doses and booster shots, according to Reuters.

Analysts cited by the outlet predict revenues of over $6.6 billion for the Pfizer-BioNTech alliance and $7.6 billion for Moderna, chiefly from booster shots. Over a longer-term horizon, they predict the market will eventually settle at around $5 billion or more in annual revenues as rival drugmakers enter the space.

Moderna did not immediately respond to a request for comment on booster shot sales projections, while a Pfizer spokesperson said the only forecasts the company is providing are 2021 projections for $33.5 billion in COVID-19 vaccine revenues.

Moderna President Stephen Hoge said in an interview last week that it is unclear what the market forces driving COVID-19 vaccine sales will be going forward, adding that, “at some point, this will become a more traditional market—we’ll look at what are the populations at risk, what value are we creating, and what are the number of products that serve that value. That will ultimately impact price.”

Pfizer executives said during the company’s second-quarter earnings call that they believe a third dose will be necessary 6 to 8 months after vaccination, and at regular intervals thereafter.

The vaccine makers have said evidence of waning antibody levels in fully vaccinated people after six months, along with an increasing rate of breakthrough infections in regions affected by the Delta variant, support the need for boosters.

It comes as U.S. regulators on Thursday authorized Pfizer-BioNTech’s and Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine booster shots for certain vulnerable and immunocompromised people. The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) approval came in the form of an update to the existing emergency use authorizations for the two mRNA vaccines. Several other countries, including Israel and France, have similar recommendations on booster shots.

The FDA’s move was followed by a Friday decision by a key medical advisory panel to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which unanimously voted to recommend the boosters to immunocompromised Americans. The approval of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices clears the way for a final nod by CDC, expected later Friday, which would allow for near-immediate rollout of the boosters.

WHO to Set up New Group to Trace Virus Origins

GENEVA—The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Friday it was setting up a new group to trace the origins of the coronavirus, seeking to end what it called “political point scoring” that had hampered investigations.

The inability of the WHO to say where and how the virus began spreading has fueled tensions among its members, particularly between China, where COVID-19 cases were first identified in Wuhan in late 2019, and the United States.

The WHO called for all governments to cooperate to accelerate studies into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and “to depoliticize the situation”.

It specified that a new advisory group called the International Scientific Advisory Group for Origins of Novel Pathogens would support “the rapid undertaking” of further studies.

“We should work all together. You, me, everyone wants to know the origin of worst pandemic in a century,” WHO spokesperson Fadela Chaib said at a U.N. briefing on Friday.

Washington on Friday welcomed the WHO plan, noting the “emphasis on scientific-based studies and data driven efforts to find the origins of this pandemic so that we can better detect, prevent, and respond to future disease outbreaks.”

President Joe Biden in late May ordered aides to find answers on COVID-19 origins and report back in 90 days.

In its final report, written jointly with Chinese scientists, a WHO-led team that spent four weeks in and around the city of Wuhan in January and February said that the virus had probably been transmitted from bats to humans through another animal. It said that a leak from a laboratory was “extremely unlikely” as a cause.

Biden administration warns of threat from anti-lockdown ‘extremists’ & terrorist sympathizers marking 9/11 anniversary

The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a terror warning that appears to put Americans pushing back against Covid-19 restrictions on par with jihadists who might strike on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

A DHS bulletin published Friday said that “anti-government, anti-authority violent extremists” may try to “exploit the emergence of Covid-19 variants by viewing the potential re-establishment of public health restrictions across the US as a rationale to conduct attacks.”

The Covid-19 pandemic has stoked “societal strains and tensions,” the DHS said, “driving several plots by domestic violent extremists, and they may contribute to more violence this year.”

The terrorism warning, which runs through November 11, cited a host of other potential threats, including violent bigots who may perpetrate mass-casualty attacks, “though there are currently no credible or imminent threats identified.”

Other potential attackers include “domestic violent extremists” and other “ideologically-motivated” individuals who may be triggered by “conspiracy theories” on such issues as “perceived election fraud,” DHS said.

“Law enforcement have expressed concerns that the broader sharing of false narratives and conspiracy theories will gain traction in mainstream environments, resulting in individuals or small groups embracing violent attacks to achieve their desired objectives,” the bulletin claimed.

President Joe Biden’s administration has elevated domestic “extremism” as a top security threat in the wake of the January 6 riot at the US Capitol. Democrat politicians have hyped the riot as a racially motivated “insurrection,” and Biden in April called it “the worst attack on our Democracy since the Civil War.”

Critics pushed back against the claim, noting such previous tragedies as the 9/11 attacks in 2001, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, four presidential assassinations and – more recently – race riots that torched cities and left dozens of people dead last summer.

On Friday, however, the DHS again raised the specter of January 6. DHS intelligence chief John Cohen told CNN that online rhetoric is similar to the chatter seen before the Capitol riot. He cited such “extremist” comments as “the system is broken,” “take action into their own hands,” and “bring out the gallows.”

DHS also noted that, with the 20-year anniversary of the September 11 attacks approaching, Al-Qaeda recently published the first issue of its English-language magazine in more than four years. That move “demonstrates that foreign terrorist organizations continue efforts to inspire US-based individuals susceptible to violent extremist influences,” the agency said.

The advisory made no mention of possible direct attacks by foreign terrorists. While Republican lawmakers have continuously raised concerns about potential terrorists infiltrating the US through the nation’s southern border, US Customs and Border Protection sought to downplay the perceived threat. Announcing in March that two Yemeni men who were on the FBI’s terrorism watchlist were apprehended as they tried to cross into the US, the CBP described such incidents as “very uncommon.”

Israel is on fire. High vax nation showing explosive exponential rise in cases. ADE is all but confirmed

Easily on track to break their all time highs. They will claim ‘fewer deaths’ but that could only be temporary until ADE actually kicks in.

Currently any ‘fewer deaths’ or ‘less severe cases’ is due to 2 main things:

1) Delta is 10x weaker than Alpha, so ‘no shit’

2) Israel have been using highly experimental and effective new treatments for the most severe cases. So, revolutionary new treatments do the saving, not the vax.

Whole thing is a complete scam.
