Not sure where you're getting that from.. Not only have I flipped burgers, I've made tacos in a truck, sat in a chair at the pool, put up drywall in probably about 200 houses while simultaneously earning a degree that it turns out I really didn't need to now grind about 10 hours a day at a screen making decent money.. It's not easy anon. I had to do it because I've got 3 kids.

Bottom line:
Increasing minimum wage causes the cheapest every day items to increase in price first.. higher incomes, higher priced homes, luxuries, etc increase slower.. The result generally makes the poor poorer.
