Looks like mag accel cannon.
The venting on what looks like a muzzle brake of a rifle stops the air pressure buildup to allow it to escape under extremely high velocities.
I don't know what the center you get scared that might be holding magnet to levitate before fire. Going to the side Chambers look like they could potentially be hosting for power supply.
