I believe I have enough insight and background experience on the subject to make a comment.
At the very end of the Bible, which was Revelation: 22:21, of the very last verses,the 3 third verse from the end was the last verse in which Jesus gave an order:
Revelation: 22:18: I warn every one who hears the words of the the prophecy of book; if any one adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if any one takes away from the words 0f this prophesy, God will take away his share of the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
Pretty strong words at the very end of the Bible. Think about what happened 2000 years ago. Jesus was born, lived and was crucified. Yes, the Scribes and Pharisees had to do it. But then He did what He did on the 3rd day. They rolled back that stone and His body wasn't there. What do you thing the Scribes and Pharisees did? They were the offspring of satan. They got to work. They took control of the Bible. Remember, the all copies of the Bible were hand written. How hard would it be for the evil Scribes and Pharisees to get every copy? If any one wouldn't give their copy up they simple killed him, took his copy, and the Scribes (media) explain how he was an heretic,
They were afraid to change a single word, to add a word or to take away a word so the scribes lied and kept the Truth from the people. They did not count on Johannas Gutenberg who, out of nowhere, invented and built the printing press in 1450.
Life experience? My mother, God bless her, sent her pastor to save me on a Saturday afternoon. I had the kids. Sent them out to play and sat with the pastor. One thing led to another, the pastor lied like crazy, I went and got the Bible and showed him the Words which proved him wrong. He was cocky, arrogant. After about 30 minutes or so he jumped up out of his chair, red faced, veins popping out on his neck and screamed: That Book does not belong to you, it belongs to the church. The church should have never let you get a copy of it.
